I never had a saltier slice of pizza in my life. My buddy had 2 margarita slices. Same deal and way too much sauce. Very disappointed

Looks can be deceiving . Saltiest pizza I ever had in my life. My buddy had 2 margarita slices. Same deal and way way too much sauce. Super soggy. Very disappointed to say the least.

My bestie recommended this pizza joint after we both contemplated on food options for almost two hours lol. It was a rainy, cold day, and after taking the J train on peak hours, I finally made it to her place. Ordering online is simple, but their website advertises $5 off for new customers which doesn't get recognized at checkout. However, their 10% code does work. The menu is extensive and easy to navigate. Delivery is free, but don't forget to tip:) The bestie ordered the chicken francese and a slice for her daughter, while I opted for a chicken cutlet broccoli pan slice, and grandma slice. The food was delivered within 40-45 minutes. The slices and chicken came lukewarm. The pan slice had a nice crunch, and it was generously topped with chicken and broccoli. The grandma slice was my favorite. It was thin crusted and the sauce was seasoned well with hints of garlic. The basil thrown on top was scarce and dried up. I would probably order a pie instead of a slice sitting at a counter to be warmed up. The grandma is highly recommended. The chicken francese tasted a bit bland, but it was enough for leftovers for the following day. The slice was standard and overall I would eat here again. It's one of my besties to go place when she doesn't feel like cooking.:)

I was visiting for a week, and it was the best quick go to eatery. Service was great, reasonably price and the food was good!!! Can't wait to get back to Brooklyn.

I called an placed an order for 3 plain slices. I came to pick up and my order wasn't ready. The staff member stated I never called and ordered and demanded I show him I called in a order. After retrieving my phone from the car to prove I placed an order twenty minutes ago. I got a "ok". The staff member only apologized after I stated they needed better customer service. I won't be eating or ordering from here ever again. If you want good service this is not the place to go

First, the pizza. There's a really great selection of ready made specialty pies, while that's great they are not all fresh. I was served 2 buffalo chicken slices from 2 separate pies, one was nice and fresh while the other had definitely been sitting a while. That being said, the pizza is pretty good, definitely 4 stars for the pizza, 2 stars for the price. $3.50 for a plain slice to go is crazy in my eyes. What makes me really want to give 1 star or less if possible is the credit card minimum and the $1 surcharge. First off, this is illegal, but okay let's go with it. Over three days of working in front of this place and eating here at least twice a day our crew has spent well over $100 and on the last day, second trip in I ran out of cash. When I gave him my credit card he said it's not over the $10 minimum I have to charge you a $1 surcharge, mine you my order was $8.75. For that reason, I will definitely be looking to other food options when in this area, I hope the $1 was worth it.

Every time I've order from Mikes it's always #BOMB Idk why they're saying they're pricey because they're really not! I usually order a Large pie, 2 Toppings and Zeppos - all shy of $20. They even deliver to me and I'm all the way out in Woodhaven. Their pizza is by far the best in the area! Wayyyy better than Enzo's ... love them!

    Ebony G.

This is the only pizza restaurant I order from within the ENY area. I always order the Shrimp Parmigiana with penne pasta. The food is always fresh, the shrimp is big but before they used to give more when served in separate containers. The penne is always good but the pasta sauce can sometimes give me heartburn. Overall great pizzeria outside of Dominos and Papa Johns.

    Bomb!

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

He would pull the pans with his bear hand out of the oven and generously drizzle olive oil from a rustic copper container over every pie. He would then meticulously inspect the dough for bubbles. Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. I once rated them as the best in NYC. Unfortunately, its not at the very top but still on the podium. Coming back feels like you are saying hello to an old friend. We ordered a whole pie half plain and half pepperoni, which is only $2.50 more. What I notice right away is the zesty tomato sauce, which Has love. However, I must admit that the crust was a bit too hard for my taste. Yes! It was crispy, but biting through it was somewhat difficult. Also- the Spumoni- it keeps at a nice consistency in the freezer, unlike rubbish American ice cream- which gets like a rock. The only other Spumoni I buy is from Corona. They're both phenomenal in their respective rights. When asked by non-NY'ers which pizza is my favourite- this is number one for Sicilian- not heavy at all. The crust is light, airy, and flavourful. Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
