Ate here today for lunch by myself during my lunch break while working full time as a teacher assistant at The 30th Avenue School (Q300). I had brought and ate the cheese pizza and pizza with toppings with a can of soda. It was really cheap, great and delicious. The service there was also super fast, quick and attentive that I didn't feel rushed about what to choose a pizza to try for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :) read more

Nice local go to spot for inexpensive pizza and a beverage. They also have chicken which is my favorite. The prices are very reasonable, and you get your monies worth. When you are on a budget this will definitely work. read more

It doesn't matter whether it's 99¢ or a dollar 25 a slice. I would not recommend 3 Bros Pizza unless you need something quick just to fill your stomach. Their pizza has less sauce and just doesn't taste as good as other cheap sliced pizza spots. read more

I wish I can give them a 0 star. What a rude and annoying service these people provide. Not the first time. I usually just grab my order and go but this guy today was too much. I tried to get a slice from the fresh pizza they had and they still had one of the older one and this animal denied to sell me fresh slices because "they are the same" .... No comments. read more

Finally. It has arrived in Astoria. A place that sells slices of pizza for $1. I always dreamed of this day. On top of selling pizza for really cheap, 3 Bros has an EXTENSIVE menu of other items that are equally as cheap. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner items. I guess that's what happens when you add another brother to the mix!! I love how they blatantly copied 2 Bros Pizza's name - it adds an additional layer of amazingness to this place. I asked them for a menu hoping I could take a picture to show how cheap the prices are but they aren't printed yet! The pizza is what you expect from a dollar slice of pizza place. Pretty good but 1) for the price, you can't complain and 2) it's pretty much better than any slice of pizza outside of New York City (just sayin'). They told me that their hours will be 7am to 3am. So you will be able to get good, cheap food here pretty much anytime of the day. I can tell that this will be a very long and fruitful relationship. Welcome to the neighborhood 3 Bros Pizza. I've been here a few times and this place is not bad for the price. I have no expectations for a dollar pizza spot. It's quick, easy and for $2 you can get a specialty slice or for $1 a regular slice. They also have a salad section and wings. I do think you should spend the extra dollar and go with a speciality slice. I found the bread to be a little dry and did not have enough sauce. Overall, the dollar silice is okay but can't complain much as the price is cheap. The wings are okay, would be better if they were hot/warm. There is no sitting area and is small with a standing section. They also have a menu that is pretty long, would have never expected it from here. read more

So this is the answer to my prayers! A pizza place that is open late and has dollar slices?! I walked by this spot and really wanted a slice- so I figured let's give it a shot. I mean-there's not much to it really. It's a small place. You walk in, order your pizza and walk out. Just like the dollar places in the city basically. I walked out with my slice and it was really good! No complaints. I'll definitely be returning. And it's brilliant that they opened this across the street from the hospital- that's awesome for the people that work there overnight and for people who are stuck waiting there overnight. It's pretty beneficial. It's on 30 avenue in the middle of multiple pizza places though so I do hope they do well for themselves! Lots of competition around, but they definitely have the upper hand by the price and the hours! I recommend! read more

It's just your standard NYC style pizzeria. My friends and I were starving so this place satisfied our pizza craving. The best part is that they have a deal for two plain slices and a canned beverage for $2.75! The downside is that the slices seem to be cut unevenly so you'll be getting one smaller than the other which I've always had a grip about with most pizza spots. The flavor of the pizza was okay. It didn't taste extravagant but it satisfied my craving for something cheap and greasy. It was very hot inside the shop. Maybe their ac is broken or they don't have one. I think they also make salad but I didn't really see anyone ordering any. Don't expect superb service. You just walk in pick what you want, pay and get out. It's very casual. There's no seating. People just go in to have something quick to eat. I would come back again for the price and when i want to satisfy my cravings for greasy NYC style pizza. read more

I'm so happy I found this place. It's so hard finding dollar pizza nowadays AND it's not half bad! I love how close it is and how convenient. Within 3 minutes you'll walk out with a fresh slice of cheese pizza. The crust comes out crispy! I have zero complaints and will come here whenever I crave a good quick slice! read more

Opened at the end of March 2016, it's a new 99c pizza slice spot across the street from Mt. Sinai hospital near the North East side of 30th Ave and Crescent. If you've had 2 Brother's 99¢ pizza all around Manhattan then you know what to expect when mom and dad have another boy. ;) It's not Motorino, it's not Artichoke, but hey for 99¢ it's a fresh slice of pizza! Have a whole pie for $8 (that's 8 slices). Their deal that can be hand all the time (?) is 2 slices and a can of soda for $2.75. That's right, lunch for under $3. If you are not watching your waist line go crazy and get one more slice you rebel! Lunch under $4. You're welcome. ;) There's no sitting area. Standing room only. They have a small salad bar that they can make for you. They have a large assortment of other food items (bagels and chicken nuggets?) that make you wonder how do they get all that in that small place, but if you just need a slice, then it's definitely worth a try. Remember if it looks old, it probably is so just ask when the next pie is coming out. If you are daring you can try a little hot sauce on your slice that's on the counter. It would be blasphemy on any other slice, but on 99¢ slices it almost seems very New Yorker of you. Don't forget the hot peppers and parmesan cheese, if that's your thing. Enjoy! Don't make an online order for takeout or delivery!! Yesterday I made an order on Yelp for takeout and when I arrived 20 minutes later to pick up my order it wasn't even ready at all.. I ordered one pie, 6 piece chicken nuggets combo meal. I had to wait another 20-25 minutes for my order to be ready... that's not the worse part. He didn't wear gloves to apply the cheese or beef pepperoni on the pizza. When I finally got my order.. they said i owed them $22 when I had already paid through yelp. They spoke in bengali and said I didn't make the purchase online or maybe I made the order for their store on Steinway. Neither was the case. I got pissed off because not only do I understand what they were discussing, I tried explaining to them many times in ENGLISH and BENGALI on how I had already paid but they refused to listen. I ended up paying for my meal again... so I wasted $44 on ONE meal. And to be honest, the pizza wasn't even that great. read more

Not bad for the price & what it is. Yes, the pizza is worse than any pizza in life. But it's 99 cents...dont expect gourmet top-notch pizza. Even for NY. Their buffalo chicken sandwich was actually not bad- i'd re-order it. It was tasty, on a hero. My husband loved his beef patties with cheese. They deliver, which is a plus. read more

Dont eat here. Food is a 5/10 and that's one thing , the people who work there are garbage , no respect I ate 2 slices there today & put all my trash in the box they gave me as i always do. I leave and this guy comes after me, inviting me back into the store as if i did some thing wrong. He pointed at 2 pieces of tissue on the counter and told me its mine, clean it. At first i said , it's not mine. He wouldn't believe me. I took my box out of the trash can and showed him proof, and he felt really really confused. "Sorry" Sorry doesn't cut it for the customer cleaning YOUR trash. Never going back ^^ read more

Our go to place for a quick slice! This pizza is tasty, affordable, and delicious. The plain slice has less sauce and less cheese than most pizzas I've tried but that's what makes it crispy and not greasy. We like to add a little garlic salt and oregano to ours from the counter. Best of all, you can't beat the price. The guys that run the place are super friendly. Good service and a good slice overall. Will be back. read more

My husband and I have been going to this place once a week after church on Sundays for the past few months, and we love it! The cheese pizza is so good and only a dollar, so we usually feel bad and spring for a couple slices with toppings. The crust is really good, and that's not even relative to cheese slices being only a dollar. We would highly recommend 3 bros! read more

Cardboard pizza. Ordered a cheese slice and it was mediocre. Gave it a second chance and ordered a veggie pie. The veggies were raw, not baked in the pizza. You can tell they gave us a premade pie, threw vegetables on top and tossed in the oven for a couple minutes to warm it up. The toppings fell right off. Another thing, be careful with your bill. I clearly asked for a LARGE at 16.99 and the guy kept trying to charge me for an XL 18.99. I know it's a $1 slice spot so I have very low expectations. But this is just rediculous. I bought onion rings for $1.99 and I got 8 1/2 onion rings. It's so rediculous that I took a pic so that you can see for yourself. The pic only shows 7 1/2 rings because I ate one. Hopefully these guys will see this and make some changes. read more

So I came here seeking to buy a pie with my friends, and the night shift guy started telling me his whole life story of how he lived in Pakistan and how he is Bengali, first he tried to sell his pizza that was sitting there for hours to me and told me he would sell it to me for 10 dollars. Then as my friends were talking he yelled "Hush Boy" and so we finally ordered a pizza pie and we were waiting for 20 mins and we asked him if he's making it he's like no you told me don't make it when we clearly said yes make it 4 times. I feel bad writing this review, but I called the restaurant first to let them know this before I wrote a review and nobody answered, even though they were supposed to still be open. Anyway, I've seen people saying the pizza is dry and there's no tomato sauce on it, and that's exactly what I got! These aren't 'white' pizzas we are ordering...oh, and $3 more for extra cheese, yet the pizza barely has enough cheese for a regular pizza! I'm not surprised they do $1 slices and get away with it. I've been in this neighborhood for 13 years and there are plenty of other pizza places in the neighborhood that are at least decent or better for the same price AND open later...look elsewhere! (at least the delivery was fast...but considering how the pizza was made, that's not surprising) read more

The person that made the pizza forgot to add tomato sauce. This tasted more like grilled cheese. The pizza was super dry. I got pizza from this place previously, they were okay but tonight they bottled it. I even called them up to let them know about this catastrophe, but they didn't seem to care. On the bright side, they did deliver some dope Diet Coke. read more

The wood-fired peekytoe crab cakes tasted better than they looked. You get nice chunks of crab meat with minimal filler. They came with a Calabrian chili aioli that complemented the crab cakes well, and some radicchio and what I think is watercress on the side. Overall, a very filling, satisfying meal.

While deciding where to go one day, this was suggested and im so glad I went. The restaurant is cozy with tables inside the main dining room and in an enclosed outdoor seating area. Im guessing it opens in the summer. I sat down with my niece while waiting for my sister and for a good 5-7 minutes, no one stopped by and gave a menu nor offered water. Finally after about 3 people walked by not saying anything, someone came. The area is not that big and 7 minutes isnt that long but to sit there any not be addressed by all the staff walking by was annoying. Finally my sister came and we were offered water and a menu. After hearing about the specials and asking for recommendations, we settled on the gnocchi (housemade potato gnocchi, burrata, peas, pesto sauce, toasted pine nuts), Pappardelle alla Bolognese (housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce), and side of sautéed spinach. The food arrived and we were pleasantly delightful by the main. The gnocchi was so soft and creamy, the sauce was delicious. Im not a fan of gnocchi but this was so good. The papardelle was my meal and it was also so good. There was a lot of pasta and a good amount of meat sauce. It was also delicious. The spinach on the other hand was bland. It has no flavor and we had to add some salt. A few times we tried to call someone over to our table but felt like no one was paying attention. When we were done with our meals, my sister had a few pieces of gnocchi left. She asked for a box as it was to be my nieces lunch for tomorrow. I then said, can you also box up the spinach. A few minutes later, the server dropped off a bag with one container and said here's the spinach. We tried to call his attention but he was already walking away. Where was the gnocchi. Finally when we came back, we asked about it and he said oh I thought it was garbage. I said no we asked for it to be boxed. He said let me talk to the kitchen. He came back and said sorry, they cant do anything but one dessert will be on me. I guess thats fine but we more wanted the food for the baby. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu and pistachio gelato. The tiramisu was in a jar as opposed to a cake slice. One bite of the ice cream and I knew it was bad. It was grainy and sandy texture. I looked up why that would be and one reason stated it could be improper storage, like it was unfrozen or melted then refrozen. I wasn't chancing that. I told the server and said I couldn't eat it. He offered another dessert but I said know, then offered a limoncello shot. While I appreciate the offer, we weren't drinking before so that wasn't the best option to offer. I just said im fine without a replacement. When we got the bill, the dessert was taken off like he said he would. We paid and left. Overall the main course/pasta meals were delicious. The sides and desserts could use work. Service was alright. Id definitely come back for the food and to try some of the pizza.

The fish was cooked to perfection, the cannelli beans I thought were going to be weird but it added a nice creaminess to the fish. Lastly the swiss chard was crunchy on the ends and nice and tender on the leaf. This was good but came off a bit plain. The pasta was homemade but it was almost to a fault since the pasta came out too soft. The flavors were good but I felt this would have been a better, reheated the next day kind of dish.

Nothing compares to Rizzo's for me and I'm so grateful that my daughter who is now 20 has also had the privilege to eat their delicious pizza while growing up! For dessert we shared a panna cotta and this chocolate dessert that had these chocolate crunchy crumbles on top that was out of this world. 10/10 food, wish I could've enjoyed it without being rushed.
