I tried to resist the call of the Spanish latte so I could try something new but alas...it is too good to pass up! I love this place. The employees are always friendly and take care in making your coffee. There is ample seating and also snacks available for purchase as well! It was quite warm inside when I visited even when sitting close to the fan. Other than that, I am always grateful when I get the chance to come here!
Stopped in here with my family while passing through Indianapolis. I had a fantastic Spanish latte! My husband was pleased with his cafe miel. Parking is easy outside. There weren't many pastry options unfortunately. It was also cold inside so we didn't take our coats off.
Kaffeine not Caffeine makes all the difference! Day 2 in Indianapolis starts out with a trip to Kaffeine Coffee in the Lockerbie Square area is a craft coffee shop, specializing in? You guest it! Craft Coffee! This unassuming coffee mecca is an experience in all things coffee and more. Mrs.Keller cashier/barista/customer service extraordinar took us through the craft that makes Kaffeine more than another coffee shop. My Mr. Chai ordered a Chai Latte that went FAR beyond average. Black, Red, and Green whole leaf tea is first steeped in a craft for 6 minutes(this is important to extract the depths of the leaves and spices). Then it's strained and poured over a sugar cube to give it a touch of sweetness. Steamed whole Milk covers the concoction with a cloud of foaming bliss. Garnished with a line of cinnamon! It was truly something to behold. Plus, it tasted incredible! Spicy, with gentle, floral overtones, and spices that awaken your senses! It was absolutely beautiful. Your Decaf Diva, risked it all and went for the Spanish Latte. I WAS NOT disappointed! Espresso(Yes the real kind) with sweetned condensed milk AND your choice of steamed milk. It was an inviting variation on the classic latte with a hint of cinnamon to round it out! Marvelous. If your in the area, go get what they're given. Transformation! Check It Out!
I've been to this coffee shop A LOT over the past year. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and welcoming. Although the inside lighting is a bit dim on its own, the shop gets so much natural light pouring in from the windows. They even open the garage door when it's nice out and it's pretty great being able to feel the fresh air and sunshine. It's a wonderful place to study and get work done. I'll be honest, I don't buy a drink every time I come here just cause I usually stop by in the afternoon to study and I'm trying to limit my caffeine intake. However, when I need an extra pick me up, I'm happy to give this place my business. I've tried the cold brew, hot and iced chai, iced mocha, cortado, and spanish latte. The spanish latte is AMAZING. I love the cinnamon on top. And the workers are all lovely. A couple things to note: -If you plan to sit at a table that's not against the wall, make sure you come with your devices charged -Try to not park in front of the apartments across the street as that is parking for their residents. I've seen a couple cars get towed. BE CAREFUL!!! -It gets pretty loud inside on rainy days. You can hear the rain pouring down on the ceiling, and for some reason the building amplifies this noise. I personally just turn the noise cancellation on on my headphones and that does the trick.
I hadn't been here in a couple of years, but it was just as good as I remembered it! My best friend and I stopped in here last weekend with our dogs to have a second dog-friendly coffee after leaving Blue Mind Coffee. We stayed here a couple of hours sipping our coffees and planning a fall girls trip while the dogs made friends with other dogs coming in and relaxed on the cold concrete floors (it was a super hot day). They have a water station, plenty of different seating options, are dog-friendly, have pleasant staff, delicious drinks, and have a clean restroom. All around a wonderful coffee shop!
Kaffeine Koffee Review Kaffeine Koffee is a nice and clean café with a welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted by the staff upon arrival, and they offered different coffee options. We both tried the Kaffee Miel, which was okay but not outstanding--I'd rate it 7/10. Additionally, we had a blueberry muffin, which was decent, though we've had better elsewhere. One of the highlights of this spot is that it seems like a great place to study, thanks to the free WiFi and the relaxed environment. Overall, it's worth a visit if you're looking for a quiet place to work or enjoy a casual coffee break.
Just a quick stop on the way to Chicago. At first I turned down the wrong way. It's not hard to find but the signage is small. It's in a gravel parking lot right across an apartment complex. At around 8:30am on a Saturday, there were a handful of folks working on their laptops. Oof! Who loves working weekends? They don't have syrups other than simple syrup. I think they must be all about their black coffees since the menu was extensive. I got a cappuccino with simple syrup while my sister got a plain latte. Decent. I'll try the black coffee next time. The space is a mixture between earthy and industrial. Not a ton of decor here. But no frills isn't a bad thing.

LOVE! Walking into Kaffeine, I was immediately impressed with the open-space, artsy, old-fashioned garage vibes. I love their big chairs and big tables so I can spread out all of my stuff everywhere, didn't feel crammed at all. Big windows too are such a plus, the lighting is A+. They even opened the garage on the most beautiful sunny day in early February! When ordering coffee I expressed I was craving Iced, but wanted something they were known for. The barista was so sweet and said give me a few minutes, reflecting the high-quality, craft-coffee they serve. It's delicious, she created some magical honey concoction, and the caffeine kicked immediately.... which is always a good sign. Only downside for me was the price but for the customized, careful result, I didnt regret splurging one bit. Last note: Defitnely a grind spot... if I had friends here I'd feel loud, as I even did on my one zoom call!

Golden milk latte, with oat milk. They were not kidding when they said this is one of their best drinks. The honey in it sings. It sings! The 8 oz. cup is not enough, it's so good. I need two next time. Seriously worth the wait for them to make this for you. Each drink is handcrafted and the ambiance inside is rustic with a bit of old coffee shop charm. I love it when coffee places make it a priority to create tea options that are just as high quality as their coffee options. Thank you, on behalf of the non-coffee drinkers. Parking is limited, but can be found. Look out for the signs dedicating parking stalls for specific businesses and residents.
An amazing coffee place near mass Ave. They have so many unique things on their menus. I got the African coffee and a cookie. The coffee and cookie were both great. My friend got an espresso shot and an iced coffee. Those looked good! The staff was very informative and friendly. They answered all my questions! Finally the inside is super cool. It's like an other weld shop or something. Lots of cool memorabilia and it's an open bright environment. Several friends recommended this place! It's very good.

If you love coffee, you'll love Kaffeine. Their coffee offering is exceptional - from espresso to drip coffe, from latte to cold brews. Kaffeine became one of my go-to places mostly for 2 reasons: 1) the coffee blend and quality is really top-notch. I am picky with my coffee and it's one of the few places where I enjoy drinking my drip coffee cause it's SO GOOD. And with .75 cents you can have refills which is great! They do not have a whole lot of different lattes cause their core is really the coffee. I love their Miel Latte though and love the fact that they use home made sweeteners. 2) the vibe/ambience is chill, welcoming and absolutely comfortable. I love working from here, but also just hanging out with friends for a chill chat. Love their background music too! Highly recommended!! read more

Let me tell you I have a thing for coffee shops and this place is THE SPOT. Definitely a hidden gem that is tucked away near downtown Indy. Came in for the first time and I couldn't help but take in the cute rustic urban atmosphere. Service was great and the Spanish Latte I ordered was even better. Will be coming back again fore sure. read more

Kaffeine is a sweet little coffee shop in downtown Indy! Barista was super friendly and drinks were delish! The garage door was open on a beautiful day which definitely helped to pass the vibe check! If you're going to work, study, or hole up there's quite a few bulky tables (which they could probably get more people seated comfortably with smaller tables) and so it can feel crowded but you can definitely find a corner for some alone time or a quiet intimate conversation!! Would definitely recommend! read more

I've come to Kaffeine on and off over the past five years. It's one of my favorite places in the entire city, and not enough people know about it. The staff is knowledgeable and gives good recommendations if you can't decide what to get. The baked goods are always delicious and the Vietnamese (iced) coffee is my favorite. I love the industrial feel of the place, and I like when they open the big doors up in the warmer months. read more

Neat venue. Plenty of seating with tons of space. I like the decor. The coffees were very good. The service was fast and everyone was very kind. If I had to upgrade one thing it would be a better menu to view besides the one sheet of paper printout. I don't particularly like reading the menu while I am being waited on to order with people behind me waiting to order too. Not a problem for regulars, I'm sure. Overall, great place. read more
This coffee shop is one of my favorite to work from, there is so much light and the the baristas have always been friendly. The French press African coffee is my favorite, it's a big cup and super tasty if you like it sweet and rich. As a plus, they also have great wifi. The only con is that they don't have decaf coffee here. read more
Who loves supporting local coffee shops? I know I do. It's always better to support local then go to chains like Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts, just remember that folx. This shop is located on the back inside of mass Avenue. It's somewhat hidden by GPS will get you there perfectly. I will have to admit it was quite difficult to know where I could or could not park because some areas said it was residential parking some other areas that it was for other shops, I risk it and just park somewhere and didn't get towed, so it was a good day. There is plenty of seating indoors and I appreciated how tall the ceilings were. They have maps throughout which makes it quite aesthetically pleasing. The one large map is the coffee belt which is quite fascinating. The staff were quite friendly and then menu was easy to comprehend. There's nothing too extravagant on the menu, nice good classic options. I ordered a cappuccino. I would say the price was right for the drinks. I will admit it was not the best cappuccino I have ever had but it was still quite good. They have tea options as well and also some pastries. If you're looking for a good spot in the Indy area to support you Should check the shop out. They've got plenty of areas for people to collaborate with others during meetings with some very big tables and also a small quaint areas to catch up with friends, family, lovers. I would say this is a great spot to get some work done and study if working at a coffee shop is your jam. Cheers pals! read more

This has to be one of my favorite coffee shops downtown. They have plenty of seating, and it's very charming how it's decorated. I like the Spanish latte, and they also have a display case with baked goods that they can warm up for you. The baristas were also very friendly. read more

Today I felt like a real coffee guru. Do I know a ton about coffee? No. Was I in a super cool, hidden, dim, trendy coffee shop that made me feel like I did? Ohhh yeah. I love the way this place is decorated and the lighting made it super cool and cozy. I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee (since everyone recommends it) and it did not disappoint! There's not a lot of parking and the sign is barely visible, but I promise you're in the right place. Parking tip: park a block south on the same road (in front of the storage units building)- you won't be towed there. read more

Loved this small coffee shop in the heart of downtown. Not only did we meet the sweetest dog (yes, it's dog friendly), we were able to have some delicious coffee. The toasted marshmallow was the perfect temperature and just sweet enough to make it great. The surprise marshmallow at the end was by far my favorite part. Overall, it's a great vibe. The only downside is the cafe is in the smaller side, so it would lend itself more to coffee to go. read more
Reborn vintage urban coffee office with all right elements, attentive and friendly staff, plenty of space and well lit study and friend area, refined menu mostly in the European caffeine action - but lacks typical Americanized sugar nonsense or proper coffee in house syrups for them ideal mixes which is going to be great for some and a huge bummer for others. I sampled their only latte (Spanish) which was lovely despite being limited to the miel style ingredients. My roommate and I have been trying out a new Indy coffee shop every Friday, and this find has been one of our favorites. Kaffeine's industrial interior with warm-colored murals and wood accents provided a cool and cozy atmosphere for Friday morning coffee with my best friend. Parking was accessible and prices were fair. We were excited to explore the menu with so many options of coffee from all over the world. We both got Kaffe Macchiatos, which were amazing. The shop is located in a great spot with the ability to walk around after getting coffee. The shop also has a garage door that opens providing open air, furthering the refreshing environment. We sipped our coffee and watched as a small bird hung out on the door. The open garage door and spacing of the tables makes Kaffeine a safer location to get coffee with a friend during COVID. There were also several people who got their coffee to go. Either way, it is definitely a place to check out. read more

Stopped in for a quick coffee with my hubs- we had never even heard of it. The aesthetic is a 10 for sure- with an office-y vibe. Hubs ordered a drip coffee, and I opted for the matcha latte. The latte took a while, but was well worth the wait. The barista made a beautiful little design in the foam, which was much appreciated. The flavor was on point and piping hot. We didn't stick around to drink the coffee there, but there were plenty of folks there working, reading, and relaxing. read more

I stepped into Kaffeine Coffee and immediately fell in love! This place is a gem! The old school rustic vibe of the interior just pulls you in! Even the menu board they have available at the counter for viewing gives you an old typewriter feeling! The service was fantastic and I just enjoyed being able to sit and have a networking meeting in such a welcoming place. I had the Jasmine pearl tea pictured, and my friend enjoyed her latte with blueberry muffin. This is definitely a place to visit! Two thumbs up Kaffiene Coffee! read more
I love it when new businesses pop into the neighborhood, especially when it's local and closer than a national chain that I frequent often. I was fortunate enough to be able to swing by Kaffeine Coffee, Co on their soft opening and check it out. Located on Fulton Street directly behind Circa Apartments, it's going to take some people some time to find the place. Once you do though, you'll be back time and time again. Limited parking spaces are available out front, but I suspect most of the business will be foot traffic from the apartments. Kaffeine Coffee started out as a food truck, but after the birth of their two kids, finding a place to put down roots and call "home" with a storefront was important, Amanda told me. She, along with her husband Chris, run the place. I ordered a mocha that came out beautifully prepared and delicious. It took a few minutes to get it because these baristas are about the presentation just as much as the taste. I like this. Scholars Inn provides the baked goods, and I noticed vegan biscotti on the counter. Kaffeine Coffee.. This is a great little place to grab coffee and to quietly work! I definitely would never have found Kaffeine if I hadn't been actually looking for it. It's kind of in an alley...but the inside has a very cool, industrial type of feel. Everything is very simply decorated but it seems to fit the vibe. My barista made me a sweetened cortado and it was absolutely delicious. Their coffee is so smooth!! I will say, if you're looking for your typical flavored latte, this is not the place for you. They don't have any flavors, which really surprised me! After getting my coffee, I definitely felt like I wouldn't have wanted a flavor, but I know that would turn a lot of people away from getting something. The staff is very friendly and seem to always be hard at work behind the counter. It was very quiet inside so definitely not your place for an important meeting but I will definitely be back!! read more

A renovated garage with lots of exposed wood and mismatched chairs, Kaffiene offers a simple menu on which everyone can find something they like. Their Spanish latte is one of the more popular items, and it wasn't too sweet and had the perfect amount of cinnamon. Service was quick and friendly. A bar with outlets for single patrons with laptops is available as well as chairs centered around old crates for a lowkey conversation area. read more

The aesthetic of this coffee shop is a 10/10. I loved how big and open it is. The decor is worldly and fun. There were some very interesting antique pieces. I'd definitely co-work here sometime. There are a couple spots that have outlets so I could set up shop here for awhile. Now, the coffee is for those who reeeally love coffee. If you're looking for some sugary concoction, this is not the place for you. They don't do syrups or flavors at all. There are some really unique options though and the flavor of the coffee is phenomenal. For food, they have a few different scones, muffins, and a couple bagels. The scones looked delightful, although I didn't try one. The bagel I tried was pretty standard. One of the best parts was that there's free parking in the back. I love that they're on Mass Ave but have convenient, free parking available. It made for a great meet-up spot with my friend. read more

I'm going to preface this review by saying, we NEVER go to coffee shops because we pull better espresso and make better milk based drinks that most of them out there. While on vacation, we found Kaffeine Coffee in a beautiful little corner of downtown Indianapolis. In search of a coffee fix, we decided to give it a shot. As we entered, the vibe was, for us at least, exactly right. A converted industrial building with high ceilings and original floors and walls, sporting an original patina, the atmosphere is welcoming and intriguing. The staff was extremely friendly and professional and our barista served up an oatmilk cappuccino for my wife and a Spanish Breva for me. I can't speak to the taste of the oatmilk cappuccino, but my Spanish breva was outstanding right down to the perfectly poured latte art. The pricing was very reasonable ( this coming from a guy who won't go to a Starbucks and pay exorbitant prices for mediocre coffee.) A brief and pleasant exchange of words with the Barista as we picked up our drinks ( served in quality, heavy ceramic cups) topped off an overall outstanding experience. It was so good we returned the next day for an encore performance. read more

Can someone explain the wheelchair accessibility situation here? The Yelp listing states they are. I have a friend who says they are not (unless they open the garage door). There's obviously a step at the front door in photos.
The only 2 entrances I see as a customer are the front door with the step and the garage door, which has a ramp up into the building that I'm guessing/hoping would not be too steep for a wheelchair. The garage door is open this morning and people…
