So good I came back the next day. Kaffeine Coffee flies under the radar with its location, but don't overlook it. There's some good technique and know-how going into every brew. The staff are friendly and welcoming. You might be surprised to see a variety of coffees served here that you wouldn't otherwise see elsewhere. There is a good variety to choose from like Kaffeine miel, African, Viet, Moroccan. Iced, hot, and different flavors are available to customize your addiction. The Spanish latte is the real standout here, but the other menu options get just as much attention from the well-trained staff. The interior is a retrofitted garage, but it very much feels like a coffee shop that you can spend some time in to knock out some work or chill with a friend. Kaffeine Coffee is worthy of repeat business for hitting all the marks.
I tried to resist the call of the Spanish latte so I could try something new but alas...it is too good to pass up! I love this place. The employees are always friendly and take care in making your coffee. There is ample seating and also snacks available for purchase as well! It was quite warm inside when I visited even when sitting close to the fan. Other than that, I am always grateful when I get the chance to come here!
Stopped in here with my family while passing through Indianapolis. I had a fantastic Spanish latte! My husband was pleased with his cafe miel. Parking is easy outside. There weren't many pastry options unfortunately. It was also cold inside so we didn't take our coats off.
Kaffeine not Caffeine makes all the difference! Day 2 in Indianapolis starts out with a trip to Kaffeine Coffee in the Lockerbie Square area is a craft coffee shop, specializing in? You guest it! Craft Coffee! This unassuming coffee mecca is an experience in all things coffee and more. Mrs.Keller cashier/barista/customer service extraordinar took us through the craft that makes Kaffeine more than another coffee shop. My Mr. Chai ordered a Chai Latte that went FAR beyond average. Black, Red, and Green whole leaf tea is first steeped in a craft for 6 minutes(this is important to extract the depths of the leaves and spices). Then it's strained and poured over a sugar cube to give it a touch of sweetness. Steamed whole Milk covers the concoction with a cloud of foaming bliss. Garnished with a line of cinnamon! It was truly something to behold. Plus, it tasted incredible! Spicy, with gentle, floral overtones, and spices that awaken your senses! It was absolutely beautiful. Your Decaf Diva, risked it all and went for the Spanish Latte. I WAS NOT disappointed! Espresso(Yes the real kind) with sweetned condensed milk AND your choice of steamed milk. It was an inviting variation on the classic latte with a hint of cinnamon to round it out! Marvelous. If your in the area, go get what they're given. Transformation! Check It Out!
I've been to this coffee shop A LOT over the past year. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and welcoming. Although the inside lighting is a bit dim on its own, the shop gets so much natural light pouring in from the windows. They even open the garage door when it's nice out and it's pretty great being able to feel the fresh air and sunshine. It's a wonderful place to study and get work done. I'll be honest, I don't buy a drink every time I come here just cause I usually stop by in the afternoon to study and I'm trying to limit my caffeine intake. However, when I need an extra pick me up, I'm happy to give this place my business. I've tried the cold brew, hot and iced chai, iced mocha, cortado, and spanish latte. The spanish latte is AMAZING. I love the cinnamon on top. And the workers are all lovely. A couple things to note: -If you plan to sit at a table that's not against the wall, make sure you come with your devices charged -Try to not park in front of the apartments across the street as that is parking for their residents. I've seen a couple cars get towed. BE CAREFUL!!! -It gets pretty loud inside on rainy days. You can hear the rain pouring down on the ceiling, and for some reason the building amplifies this noise. I personally just turn the noise cancellation on on my headphones and that does the trick.

One of the highlights of this spot is that it seems like a great place to study, thanks to the free WiFi and the relaxed environment. Overall, it's worth a visit if you're looking for a quiet place to work or enjoy a casual coffee break.
I hadn't been here in a couple of years, but it was just as good as I remembered it! My best friend and I stopped in here last weekend with our dogs to have a second dog-friendly coffee after leaving Blue Mind Coffee. We stayed here a couple of hours sipping our coffees and planning a fall girls trip while the dogs made friends with other dogs coming in and relaxed on the cold concrete floors (it was a super hot day). They have a water station, plenty of different seating options, are dog-friendly, have pleasant staff, delicious drinks, and have a clean restroom. All around a wonderful coffee shop!

Just a quick stop on the way to Chicago. At first I turned down the wrong way. It's not hard to find but the signage is small. It's in a gravel parking lot right across an apartment complex. At around 8:30am on a Saturday, there were a handful of folks working on their laptops. Oof! Who loves working weekends? They don't have syrups other than simple syrup. I think they must be all about their black coffees since the menu was extensive. I got a cappuccino with simple syrup while my sister got a plain latte. Decent. I'll try the black coffee next time. The space is a mixture between earthy and industrial. Not a ton of decor here. But no frills isn't a bad thing.
LOVE! Walking into Kaffeine, I was immediately impressed with the open-space, artsy, old-fashioned garage vibes. I love their big chairs and big tables so I can spread out all of my stuff everywhere, didn't feel crammed at all. Big windows too are such a plus, the lighting is A+. They even opened the garage on the most beautiful sunny day in early February! When ordering coffee I expressed I was craving Iced, but wanted something they were known for. The barista was so sweet and said give me a few minutes, reflecting the high-quality, craft-coffee they serve. It's delicious, she created some magical honey concoction, and the caffeine kicked immediately.... which is always a good sign. Only downside for me was the price but for the customized, careful result, I didnt regret splurging one bit. Last note: Defitnely a grind spot... if I had friends here I'd feel loud, as I even did on my one zoom call!

Golden milk latte, with oat milk. They were not kidding when they said this is one of their best drinks. The honey in it sings. It sings! The 8 oz. cup is not enough, it's so good. I need two next time. Seriously worth the wait for them to make this for you. Each drink is handcrafted and the ambiance inside is rustic with a bit of old coffee shop charm. I love it when coffee places make it a priority to create tea options that are just as high quality as their coffee options. Thank you, on behalf of the non-coffee drinkers. Parking is limited, but can be found. Look out for the signs dedicating parking stalls for specific businesses and residents.
An amazing coffee place near mass Ave. They have so many unique things on their menus. I got the African coffee and a cookie. The coffee and cookie were both great. My friend got an espresso shot and an iced coffee. Those looked good! The staff was very informative and friendly. They answered all my questions! Finally the inside is super cool. It's like an other weld shop or something. Lots of cool memorabilia and it's an open bright environment. Several friends recommended this place! It's very good.

Kaffeine Coffee was such a fun find! From the cutest stickers to the amazing coffee, this spot instantly won me over. I absolutely loved the relaxed, grungy garage aesthetic mixed with all the greenery--it felt cozy, unique, and effortlessly cool. I ordered the iced vanilla lavender latte, and it was made fresh right in front of me. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu, making the whole experience even better. The seasonal banana bread has been so popular they were out ~ but definitely noted for next time! Safe to say I'm obsessed and this one has definitely earned a spot on my list of local coffee shops. read more

Tucked away among apartments and industrial buildings, this coffee shop is a gem off the beaten path. They offer pastries, coffee, and espresso prepared in several different ways, along with a small variety of flavors. I opted for the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, a blend of espresso, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon. The drink was creamy with a mellow, lightly sweet flavor. It was smooth, refreshing, and perfect for a summer day. A great spot to seek out when you're looking for something beyond the usual coffee shop experience. Loved the music selection and a lot of open seating where people could study or read. There were plenty of outlets at the bar seating across the cashier. The hot Vietnamese coffee was smooth and delicious - exactly what I needed to get some work done. I'll definitely be coming back read more
I absolutely love Kaffeine Coffee; I used to live very close and would get coffee here multiple times a week. After moving out of the city, I've felt a little deprived. Luckily, I was able to visit again recently, and I was instantly reminded why Kaffeine is one of my favorite coffee shops in Indy. The ambiance is dark but inviting, and the baristas are always super friendly. I ordered the kaffe mocha, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. The coffee is the star of the show. The coffee's flavor in this (and all of the drinks I've had here) really set Kaffeine apart for me. Also, the chocolate in the kaffe mocha is not overpowering, which I like. This is not like drinking hot chocolate like you would at some other coffee shops. The coffee and chocolate work so well together. The presentation is great as always, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time sipping my kaffe mocha at Kaffeine. If you have not had it yet, Kaffeine Coffee is a must try! read more
I've had the opportunity to visit this coffee shop twice now. I can't get over the wide variety of different coffee drinks. I've enjoyed my selection both times. The first time I tried the Moroccoan coffee, take note that it serves two, or you can have coffee for the next day! And the Kaffe Miel is probably the best I've ever had. Service has been friendly and patient both times. It's a long menu. And the environment is peaceful, with chill music. Dim lighting but open seating that makes reading, studying, and/or working a good option. I definitely recommend giving them a try! read more
Super obscure location. Happen to be here during a "Street Photography" outing. I put that in quotes because it was so little about street photography. But anyway. I got a bottle of Bai Water since I don't do coffee. And a dark chocolate brownie. The brownie was really good. Fresh soft and had good flavor. The Bai water was good and I'm going to have to find it in the grocery. The blueberry had a lot of flavor. read more
In town for convention and I brought a brand new friend/contact here for the coffee on the way. Everything said that the industrial look of the Shop really added to the experience, and it did not disappoint. I ordered a Spanish latte and added an extra shot of espresso because it was gonna be a long day. The coffee and the flavor melted well together and made my morning a bit brighter. The only addition I recommend is a few more baked goods for selection. Otherwise this was a great experience and added to the ambience of my morning. read more

I have been trying new coffee shops around the area and a recommendation led me here It's a small quiet little place with minimalistic decorations, the have a few chairs and tables for you but I'd recommend bringing earphones due to the quiet atmosphere I liked the Spanish Latte which is frothy coffee (latte) with sweet condensed milk and milk and cinnamon Only problem with my visit was it was really really hard to find a parking spot, there's a handful of designated parking spot and there isn't even a paid parking spots nearby read more
I really enjoyed my experience here! I came on MLK day with a friend. There's honestly not that much parking available so we had to park on Mass Ave and walk over. I really liked the urban vibes with the exposed brick. The coffee shop is more on the dimly lit side - which adds to the urban vibe. I felt like I was in a coffee shop in Brooklyn. I ordered the Spanish latte (12 oz - $5). I liked it better than the Spanish latte at Bovaconti Coffee - and that's saying a lot because that's one of my favorite coffee shops in Indy! The barista, Reagan, was super nice and informed me that the Spanish latte was one of their more popular drinks. I will say that seating was kind of limited, so my friend and I just sat the bar where people picked up their drinks. Maybe it was quite busy because of the holiday. Overall, I would definitely come back and check out some of the other drinks on their menu. read more

I told the barista that this was my first time visiting Kaffeine Coffee. He took the time to explain the menu to me and even gave some suggestions! I ordered a honey cinnamon latte. It was the perfect amount of sweetness! The only downside for me is that they do not offer any syrups or coffee flavors. The barista suggested their Spanish latte, honey cinnamon latte, or mocha if you wanted something with some sweetness. They do have some pastry options (I saw muffins and croissants). Th coffee shop had lots of open seating! I took my laptop and sat and did some work while I drank my coffee. read more

So dang cute. Had no idea this little hidden gem was so close to Mass Ave and Lockerbie. Looked like they had plenty for the coffee lovers, but exciting for me as a tea connoisseur: they had a small menu of teas to choose from, and I look forward to trying all the ones I'm unfamiliar with. I started with the white peony tea, which was light and floral--go figure. They had a few muffins, bagels, and other carb treats I didn't try and the place was packed with the laptop worker set. I love that it's an independent spot and look forward to another visit to try another tea. read more
Kaffeine is one my favorite coffee shops in Indy! Walk in and you'll find a dimly lit rustic space with tables and bar seating. There's light music but it's never too loud so it's the perfect study spot. The coffee here is really good--not too sweet and with the perfect balance of flavors. My go-to is the Miel, but another favorite amongst folks would be the Spanish latte. I've been here many times and every time the baristas were so kind! And my coffee has been consistently good :) I would definitely check out this place if you're a study looking for a place to study or if you're looking for a new location for a coffee shop date! read more
Oh my! What a way to start New Year and "discover" a new coffee shop! We had to change our plans cause another coffee shop was closed and the nearest option was Mass Ave. Walk in and you immediately get the urban vibe with exposed brick and the casual vibe with the hipster crowd. They have a "World of Coffee" section with cool options such as Moroccan, Cuban, African and Italian. I went for 12 oz.Americano and it just didn't disappoint. There's a variety of teas and good old Ghirardelli's hot chocolate. I ended up working for 3+ hours and it was a good experience. Parking wasn't a hassle though it was Mass Ave and coffee was decently priced. Coming back! read more
Having been to almost all coffee shops in Indy, this one is one of our favorites! My fiancé and I come in nearly once a week, and we love the mocha and Spanish latte. We also always get a couple of turnovers (delicious)! The staff are always so polite, the music is always soft and provides ambiance to read or work, and there's plenty of tables and chairs. Kaffeine is always amazing. It looks so cool on the inside- and their drinks are even more amazing! I always get the Spanish latte, and usually indulge in a pastry as well. Their pastry selection rotates- I've gotten a scone, croissant, and a vegan muffin! All have been delicious. The Spanish latte is seriously where it is at. I have also tried their mocha however, which is also amazing. They have an amazing selection of coffees, teas, lattes, and canned drinks. I don't think there is anyone who couldn't find something they'd like! They are located just off mass ave, but it's a nice quiet location. They never are too busy to find a table, and there seems to be plenty of seating- even in covid. They are great at takeaway too. Overall this is a very nice place for a quit energy boost, and one that I keep finding myself coming back to. read more
Located downtown near Mass Ave you'll find Kaffeine Coffee. There is plenty of parking in front of the building. The interior of the store has a lot of seating that's comfortable and great for a remote work space. I ordered the Kaffe Miel latte which was good and hit the spot. Ok ok hear me out, I'm a flavor syrup and chai kind of girl and I love to add all forms of sugar to my coffee and that's just where I'm at in my life right now. And if you're not there and you have a true knowledge and passion for the art and the beans, well I admire you. But that kaffeine is very worldly ish they're trying anyway. I ended up getting this iced spanish Latte thing which was good. The girl at the counter was an angel. But the actual shop itself felt a little neglected, like messy type kind of. LOVE LOVE LOVE KAFFEINE I stumbled upon Kaffeine about two years ago, right after I moved to the city. I needed a place to do my homework and just enjoy a third space that wasn't my apartment or school. From the matcha, to the green chai, and even a Vietnamese coffee or two. I have truly loved every experience. The baristas are always so helpful and knowledgeable, which comes in handy when there are many items on the menu I haven't ever heard of! I've done WFH out of Kaffeine, had multiple meet ups with friends, and I've even just sat and read my book here. Will forever and always be one of my favorite places in Indy! read more

Can someone explain the wheelchair accessibility situation here? The Yelp listing states they are. I have a friend who says they are not (unless they open the garage door). There's obviously a step at the front door in photos.
The only 2 entrances I see as a customer are the front door with the step and the garage door, which has a ramp up into the building that I'm guessing/hoping would not be too steep for a wheelchair. The garage door is open this morning and people…
Do you offer any vegan baked goods?
