Indianapolis surely doesn't miss with the options of coffee shops in the area, and this one is just another I'm absolutely obsessed with. The seasonal specials? Way too good, I enjoyed the Peelin' So Good which was a banana and carmel iced latte with strawberry drizzle and banana chips, so original! The plants and aesthetic of the space, make it extremely inviting and comfortable as well as amazing photo ops. Service is was great, and even willing to help share community flyers ~ absolutely love a local support supporting the community! Great spot you must check out in the Indianapolis area, loved it!

I'm not usually in the area but happened to be today and stopped by on a whim. I was impressed! Gorgeous, cozy, welcoming space (& oh my gosh the PLANTS). I hadn't been planning to stay but I couldn't help but sit for a bit, it was just so lovely! Very friendly staff, and honestly, the best cup of drip coffee I've had in a while. I'll make the trip down to Irvington again just to come here!

Grungy Alice in Wonderland vibes, yeah not sure why I think that but it's full of mystical twinkly lights and dark woods, fun space, easy parking, pleasant staff, and great menu tho nothing really crafted or scratch made. Junky pump syrups only so I went with the one locally sourced, a honey and cinnamon thing basically a mile, they didn't give me any discount for my personal cop which was odd but I was just glad to have found an empty seat near an outlet! It is a fine cup of Joe apart from the top tier Commissary, Rabble, and Coat Check near downtown. Glad for this place.

Obsessed! I work in Irvington and was soooo happy when wildchild opened where coal yard was! They gave the place a much needed vibe! Love all the plants and new furniture set up! This is what I consider craft coffee. Not a drive thru! They are going to take their time to make you a hand crafted delicious coffee! Endless options and fun seasonal drinks!

Irvington once had a great coffee shop that everyone in the neighborhood went to but alas business management is tricky and those days are gone. Wild Child Coffee silently appeared, I haven't heard much about its launch and yet here it is. Vibes are what you'd expect for a semi-industrial coffee shop, almost all tourist destinations have something like this now. Eclectic seating, plants everywhere, and a trendy brewing/ordering island. I ordered a drink off their specials but asked for it to be made hot so any customization like this is a good test for how it is handled. The answer was wonderfully, you can really see the level of care that goes into each drink. Quality coffee, tons of syrups for customization, craftsmanship behind the counter. All of these are recipe for a longstanding institution within the community.

Absolutely LOVE this coffee bar!! This is definitely somewhere I'd love to work at or frequent if I lived nearby. The decor is very witchy, moody, and a little dark. Horror movie was on the tv when I walked in. Roaster inside behind the counter. I ordered an Ethiopian cold brew and a double espresso. Both came out quick. Coffee had a ton of flavor (I had both items black). I will 100% be back if work brings me back to Indy.

If you are a lover of greenery this is the Coffeehouse for you. This cool space is decorated with all types of green plants. It's a great place to chill out and have a beverage with friends. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable about what drinks work with how you're feeling or what your usual coffee preferences are. I had the Monkey Business drink special iced. It's a latte with caramel, banana, and vanilla. They have other interesting drinks on their special menu which I can't wait to try.

I've been wanting to try silver linings, but they re branded under the name Anecdote. Same spot and building as silver linings. When I came in, I was immediately greeted by Clint, him and his wife Marty are the owners. Eventually, Marty came in while I was there and I got to chat with them. They are very sweet. They also own another coffee shop that I really liked which was the mocha nut, but now they are both under the name Anecdote. The inside had a chillaxed vibe, with comfy seating. The decor reminded me of the mocha nut as they had some of the same wall art. I was undecided of what to order, so I asked Clint for recommendations. He told me of some seasonal drinks and that always peaks my interest. I went for the Red velvet latte with almond milk and it was delicious. I got it hot and really enjoyed it, I'm sure it would be just as tasty cold. I chilled inside while sipping on my latte, sat with my thoughts to prep my day. They have a restroom located all the at in the back of this establishment. n the back area near the restroom, the seats were so comfortable that I enjoyed lingering there with my coffee and having a relaxed start to the day. They offer wi-fi and have the password on display, I'll keep that in mind when needing a quaint place to work/study, with good coffee.

However, as I parked I spied Sleepy Hollow Gourmet Deli & Cafe along with a Jack's Donuts. I was curious. So, I wheeled over and realized they were like conjoined culinary twins. I detoured my plans and decided to hang out at Sleepy Hollow, a delightfully named establishment (though I do wish they'd lean into the decor a bit more) for this Irvington-set restaurant. Jack's does seem to be the dominant force here. There are donuts, bagels, cookies, and even kolaches. The prices are surprisingly affordable. Drinks include hot coffee, iced coffee, lattes, boba energy, and Pepsi products. They do have both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. The menu also includes Choc-ola! The deli menu includes toasted subs (every sub has 1/4-pound of meat and you can go double for an extra price). They use Boar's Head meats. You can get chips and a soft drink to make it a combo. This strip center is always a little hit-and-miss in terms of access, however, with some nearby road construction it seems just a bit slower and I was able to find a spot that improved my accessibility. If you go to the door by the entrance, the curb has a bit of a step to it. If you go to the end of the aisle, there's a smooth and level section to make it all easily work. The interior itself is nicely laid out and easily accessible. The employees were super friendly. They also offer catering. There's a combination of higher-top tables and regular tables. Business was fairly steady, however, I had no issue finding a place to sit. I ended up ordering a chicken salad sandwich that was a healthy size and quite tasty. I grabbed a bag of chips and my usual unsweetened iced tea. Pricing was right about $13. Overall, I was quite pleased and I would easily return. Whether you're seeking donuts or a deli sandwich, Sleepy Hollow (or Jack's) is an ideal place to stop in.

My daughter is on a gluten free diet and seeing no GF offerings on the menu she ate before we went but joined us for the experience. Our reservation was for 12:30. We were seated within a few minutes. Our waitress, Ashlyn, arrived and introduced herself, promising to be back soon. 30 minutes later she returned and asked if we would like water. We said water and menus would be nice. 30 minutes later she brought a carafe of water and the menus. We had plenty of time to discuss the menu. When she returned she sat down in our extra chair and talked about the selections and made suggestions for us. Then told us to think about what we wanted and she would be back. 30 minutes later she returned and asked if we knew what we wanted. My sister told her we would like to order now. My granddaughters and I ordered the petite tea, consisting of a cup of soup, sandwich, scones and sweet treats, and tea. We all chose the baked potato soup, sweet and spicy turkey croissant, and vanilla almond tea - all served on a tiered tray. My GF daughter ordered a cup of tea. My sister ordered separately. Our tea pot was delivered and we waited for our order. Our waitress appeared 30 minutes later and asked if we needed anything. My sister said yes, we would like our orders. Our waitress apologized for the wait and said there was a mix up in orders in the kitchen. She reminded us that she did not prepare the food, just served it. Our food finally arrived. The cup of soup is literally a tea cup of soup and while it was delicious, it was 3 teaspoons of soup - which we used the same spoons we used for our tea as there were no soup spoons. The turkey croissant was grilled and flavorful, also 3 bites. The tea was now cold but the sweets were very tasty. When our waitress reappeared, she apologized for the long wait and offered to take half off my daughter's tea and noted that we would also save the tax that would be charged on the $5.00 tea. My sister told her that was not acceptable, that she thought half off the entire table was customary in the restaurant world, keeping in mind we have been there over 3 hours. The waitress said she would talk to the manager, then came back and asked us to meet the manager at the register. We ended up receiving half off the entire bill and there was half off for my daughter's tea. 3 stars for adjusting the bill and for the delicious food, that's 2 stars less than my previous glowing review for making my granddaughters first "tea room" experience less than stellar.
