Stopped in here on my way home and grabbed a iced cherry almond latte with almond milk from their seasonal menu. It was good, service was friendly and fast, and the space was cozy and clean. I didn't stay, but took my drink to go, but could see myself coming back for work or a meet up.

This, husband-wife team, bro on coffee and sister on pastries, is killing it! The evidence of owner presence is through the roof. Space is always clean, the bathrooms are impeccable, customer service, product, knowledge, product quality... It's everything you would expect from continuous owner presence. And you haven't tried an almond croissant until you've had theirs. I've owned a third wave coffee shop and would be proud of this one if it were mine.

Stopped by Ascend when needing some time to kill in the area. I was impressed with the size of the inside, several different seating options. Unassuming ordering counter, but very friendly staff. I got a cold brew coffee and a ham and cheese croissant. All bakery items are made in house! The coffee was pretty good, but the real winner was the ham and cheese croissant -- it was delicious.

I have always stopped by this area during my drive and didn't realize there was a coffee shop nearby. I decided to try the coffee and matcha as well. Service was really good and the staff was nice. There's plenty of seating and it's really cute and cozy inside. I got the latte and the matcha, coffee was good!

I really enjoy Ascend Coffee! They have a great aesthetic. Lots of plants, nice brown colors, plenty of natural light. There's a variety of seating options, though several times when I'd visit, it would be hard to find a spot! This place gets busy. But it's easy to see why as it's comfortable for working or meeting a friend. I like to order their gluten free breakfast bars and a hot tea. I wrote here many times last year and look forward to more visits!

Seasonal brown sugar cinnamon latte with oat milk

SO close to my house and my normal Costco route - yet I am late to the game on trying this place out. I am SO GLAD we finally did! Joined my coffee loving pals here one early weekday morning and snagged the best seats in the house (a couch!). It was really quiet and comfy for about the first hour or so and then it got packed with patrons (yay! for them) - mostly if not all men - appearing to be there for business and / or casually reading alone - which was interesting to our group. We joked that we should tell our single girlfriends about this place. ha! The space is clean and welcoming, and the music was eclectic but nice. So back to the coffee - YUM. Menu was simple- on the wall with the usual offerings as well as a little easel on the counter offering some seasonal brews. I opted for the brown sugar cinnamon latte with oat milk - and it was so perfect. They did offer some baked goods that looked tasty - but I will have to get one next time. Prices were consistent with locally owned coffee shops and reasonable. Just one barista working when we went. Our group were all satisfied with their coffees and I took an americano home to the hubs - which he loved. Said it beat Starbys by a mile. Overall - will return! I won't wait so long next time.

Hello Fellow Yelpers Today, I allowed myself a good 30 minutes to do a little midday R&R at Ascend Coffee. This was my second time visiting this cozy coffee shop and I ordered myself a Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte with Almond Milk Substitute. There were GF/DF breakfast squares on display, as well, so I added that to my $10 order. Ordering in person is quick and easy. The menu is pretty straightforward. I am not a coffee drinker but on occasion I can really use the pick-me-up. I like the seating arrangement in this open concept space. They have several couches, lounge seating, and a few little nooks (or I like to call them *cubbies*) with bench seating in the shape of your own personal cube. I had no trouble with setting up my things in my little cube, and there are charging outlets inside for your device. I recommend using a napkin or ask for a small plate for your food items to be laid on the bench that can cross-function as a low tabletop. Customers can clean up after themselves and any soiled dishes can be returned underneath their ice water station. I like that they use glassware for dining in. I will mention that today there were a good number of people already inside when I walked in at about 12:30 PM. There is semi-soft music playing overhead, but I noticed the conversations and talking more than that. Depending on your noise preferences, I would recommend wearing headphones (or airpods) to block out ambient sounds. The talking and chatter may be a distraction if you are coming in at a busier time and need to focus or study in "silence." But this is nothing unusual for a local coffee shop that is bustling. Today, I read another two chapters in one of my favorite Emily Henry books, 'Funny Story' and took my time savoring my gluten free, dairy free breakfast bar with my hot almond milk latte. This was a great choice of space to stay warm in this frigid weather. Easy going, casual, and cozy.

This is such a cute coffee shop in Castleton! It is a busy place and it gets loud due to the music and everyone talking, so it's not the ideal place for a study session. I highly recommend the hazelnut latte but would pass on getting the matcha again. The matcha tasted watered-down. They also have pastries but have not had the chance to try them yet. There are lots of seats, good lighting, affordable prices, very nice staff, and free parking! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Came to Ascend for a business meeting. Really enjoyed the environment of others working and meeting. The service and suggestions were great. The scone and latter (maple seasonal latte) were great! Only gave a 4/5 because the area we sat seemed to have someone's pet hair, not the establishments fault, but maybe a wipe down as patrons leave.

Ascend is a sweet little local coffee shop and work space that makes its own coffee syrups, pastries and chai. They are located in a strip mall on the north side of Castleton Mall. The space is upscale and comfortable with a mix of tables and other comfy seating. There is an interesting plant wall on one side of the dining room. When I stopped by yesterday, there were a couple of people working and several groups socializing. The clerks are super friendly and will explain the pastry options which are in a case. When I was there, they offered scones, various croissants, breakfast bars and I think I saw a few cookies - all fresh made. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant. The croissants are made fresh daily and melt in your mouth. It was one of the best croissants I've had in Indy. The cheese was hot and melted. On Saturdays, they have live music. They also will cater their pastries. I recommend and will return.

Ascend Coffee only has one size coffee and it is on the more expensive side . Shop is extremely clean , staff is amazing and the play relaxing music that fits most people's personalities . I got the chai (which is made in house) the chai is a very good mix of flavors , not sweet and not spicy. They do also have a few gluten free pastries for those that have celiacs . It may be on the more expensive side but it does have good quality , when I the area I will definitely stop back in .

One of the best coffee spots in town! Their Cuban is the best. I personally add in oat milk and it's truly divine.

I've been loving matcha for the health benefits and non-jittery caffeine boost so when I saw matcha lemonade, which is harder to find since Dutch Bros removed it from their menu, I was sold. The owners were in such good moods, especially the male owner. Just naturally good energy, someone who clearly cares a lot about good products and great customer service. The female told me lavender and strawberry were the top flavors to add to the matcha lemonade. I went with lavender and it was amazing! They made sure I loved it before I walked away, which I appreciated. They have lots of desserts here too, the pistachio cake looked amazing. They make the baklava and Dubai bars in-house. My husband had a slice of blueberry cake loaf, which was warmed up - it was pretty good and he loved it. For my large drink and his slice, it was $13. My friend also loved her coffee beverage. We will definitely be back!!

So, if you want to visit Cath Coffee, you will need to enter the mall. I didn't need a coffee shop to hang out in, just a place to get a drink to give me an edge. I needed my wits about me on this afternoon, because I was buying a kettle bell at the nearby Dick's Sporting Goods, and I needed to determine which weight was the right fit for me. Important stuff! But this is neither here nor there. At Cath Coffee, I ordered a black iced coffee. Haters will say that my order was pedestrian, considering the abundance of coffee options on the Cath menu. I coulda got a chai latte! Or a lavender lemonade! Or a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate! But I wanted just pure caffeine with the least amount of calories. Black coffee fits that description, and I chose iced because it was a relatively warm day. My iced coffee was ready lickety split, and it tasted great. It's hard to eff up an iced black coffee, and luckily, Cath Coffee did not do that. They have a lot of pastries and desserts, including baklava and macarons. They also have Dubai chocolate bars!

It can be quite loud so keep that in mind if you want a quieter reflection time, and maybe take it to go or sit outside. They have various food items but I absolutely LOVE their peanut butter energy balls! In fact that is why I came to this location as this is where the magic happens. They make them here and send them to other Tinker locations! They are the perfect blend of savory and a tad sweet and go super well with their coffee and/or London Fog tea. Yum! I will freely admit to buying all they had on hand, and now can enjoy them at home. Yay! It is a very busy spot so not the friendliest of staff, but assumed they were already hassled from the morning. It was a great spot to meet a friend and enjoy the patio and some tea/coffee. Their display offerings are very good and always taste like what they say they should. I've never tried any savory pastries from them, but I want to on my next visit. They have coffee, hot chocolate, frappes, smoothies, lemonades, etc as well. The tiramisu latte is amazing and I get it every time I go since it's always when it's fall/winter, but an iced coffee or lemonade sounds so good once the weather gets warm again. Plan your visit for early in the day before their pastries get bought up! They stay very busy and our last visit was late in the evening to coincide with grocery shopping in Saraga so we could take everything straight home to the fridge. They were very picked over, but I got a slice of pound cake to snack on with my latte and a load of milk bread. The milk bread is a family favorite, so I recommend trying that out if you've never had it before. They also sell some super cute "accessories" on top of the display case and I bought "Happy Birthday" candles for my husband's birthday earlier this month from them, as well as some that said "I Love You" for Valentine's Day.

She was great at communicating when I walked in that she needed a few minutes and then would be able to help me too. Another time I went with my parents on a late morning Saturday. My mom and I both loved our drinks, but we knew what to order. There were multiple people working behind the counter, but the barista taking orders was not friendly or very helpful on this particular day. My dad did not know what to order and asked what tea is refreshing and is one that the barista would recommend. The barista said that the green tea is really popular, but did not ask whether he wanted it hot or iced or give a recommendation for that. The tea came out hot on a hot day where we planning to walk the Monon and check out other local businesses. To be fair, I did ask him if he wanted me to ask for the drink to be remade or to get him a new one as I had overheard his order and also assumed it would be coming out iced. He said it was fine (but then complained on our walk). This was a bit disappointing. There have been times I have walked out after a few minutes of no acknowledgement from baristas here. It is not a cafe that I would want to sit in and work in as a lot of the space does not look workable. The last time I did come in with papers I planned to read in between appointments, I did not want to put my bag on the floor or my papers on a table because both were dirty. The book page wall has seen better days and would benefit from a revamp. I love the outdoor area though and the can tops are really cool. There is a lot of potential here, but when staff appears like they do not want to be there it makes customers not want to be there either. I would also urge the owners to be more receptive to criticism. The TikTok videos about Prufrock did not influence my review, but it did encourage me to leave my own review based on my own experiences.
