Bacon, egg and cheese on a homemade biscuit

I LOVE the neighborhood atmosphere! This was my first time being there and I was greeted by an amazing team. They were very helpful and suggested their popular biscuit sandwich made in house. I've had Tinker at the airport and at 16 Tech but I'd travel to this location for their delicious buttery biscuit sandwich! OMG!!! It was the perfect breakfast right before my meeting. The coffee was amazing and the sandwich was yummy. I didn't take pics of the outside but it's a little firehouse. It's busy filled with an eclectic group of people. People were sitting outside, having meetings, eating breakfast with their kids before school... it was definitely a community vibe. Service, food, coffee and atmosphere passed the vibe check. I will definitely be back!

Such a cute coffee house ! Loved the vibe and the ease of getting my food . The coffee is smooth and doesn't have that bitter aftertaste . Service was really fast and on time (I had ordered ahead online and my order was ready and still got by the promised time ) I then ordered food while I was drinking my coffee and it was ready really fast

Five Spice Latte & Blueberry Matcha Latte

I couldn't decide what to order here, so I went with their most popular latte, the Five Spice. The flavor notes - Thai chili, black peppercorn anise, clove, & cinnamon. Honestly reminded me of a chai latte with a hint of coffee! I liked it - at first I wasn't sure but the more I sipped, the more it grew on me. It is not a sweet drink, but I did enjoy it and would order again! Also tried the blueberry matcha. I don't like matcha, but I was very curious. I intend to order it iced and thought they all came that way, so my mistake was not saying iced and I got a hot latte. I still find matcha to be grassy tasting but this one would be something I would drink again. It's got a sweet, dessert feel and very smooth. Tinker is an Indy coffee favorite and with several locations around town, there should be one somewhere close to you. This location was super cute and also has a walk up window, so you can grab it to go while out and about in the neighborhood.

This is such a great space! Even on Sunday morning, there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is lots of parking nearby, including a small lot that belongs to the building. We didn't eat here this morning but both of our coffees were great! I got the blueberry matcha and it was probably one of the best ones I've had! Service was friendly and coffees came out quickly! We plan on coming back when we have a little more time to spend!

    Got a pretty, even in a to-go cup :)

This is my second visit to the Firehouse. There are a few parking spots in front, but street parking is pretty easy if that is full. Come in, enjoy the vibe, order your drink / food, sit back and enjoy. Then repeat on another day (or same day - no judging!) The coffee is fresh and so good. I could just stay here. The only food I've tried is the blueberry muffin. It is delicious. The staff is friendly and happy. It makes me feel like they enjoy their work and are happy I'm here. Come try it out!

Always a tinker coffee fan so I was excited to check out this location! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating ranging from regular tables to comfy couches. Barista recommend the 5 spice latte. Great flavor, similar to a chai, but not overwhelming. Person across from me got the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit and it look INCREDIBLE. Will be trying next time.

Cute coffee shop thar serves alcohol as well as food. Nice wait staff willing to answer questions. My lavender mocha was delicious. I'll be back when I'm feeling adventurous to try the lemonade with expresso.

Tinker took over the previous Chalet location (previously the Illinois St Firehouse). You'd think it went from coffee space to coffee space, so not much of a change, but the space has a completely different feel from the previous coffee space. The space is bright and open, with deep green accents and plenty of plants. The staff is friendly, and the coffee bar is huge. The offer breakfast sammies till 12 and then a few sammies the rest of the evening. They also serve overnight oats and a variety of pastries. In the afternoon, the space has wine, beer, and low ABV cocktails (vermouth-based). The coffee shop has a walk-up window and plenty of outdoor seating for pup-friendly spaces. However, if you're looking to sit inside, I would recommend the fireplace room. The fireplace is purely decorative, but the room is cozy nonetheless. The Americano and biscuit egg and cheese breakfast sandwich were delicious. The buffalo chicken sandwich was not too spicy, and the iced tea is a perfect afternoon refresher. They also have Rice crispy treats made with Hotel Tango Smashmellow. This is the perfect setup for the neighborhood.

Maple Miso Carmel Latte (16oz), Honey Vanilla Latte (16oz), Egg and Cheese Sandwich on Brioche Bun

Cute little coffee shop, great for a weekend morning and taking a walk after. Pretty hectic and crowded, but was still able to find a seat inside to enjoy our food and drinks. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The coffees were great, especially the Maple Miso Carmel Latte, which had a sweet but complex flavor - very satisfying! The sandwich was good but a little expensive for what it is, understandable but not a must-get if you come here. Overall very positive experience and will be back for lattes!

Yes, these are quite a bit pricer that's for sure. People were buying one of everything in line. I was like wow! Some Items the combinations of flavors didn't appeal to me. I love tiramisu and pecan pie so I got them both. One suggestion I would have is to have utensils and napkins at the table for people to use. The pastries I bought are really temperature sensitive and need to be kept cold. Both had a cream - mousse inside. They wouldn't last long only a day or to the next. I loved the pecan item I ordered. It was great! The tiramisu one I wouldn't order again. The bottom flakey part was so bitter. I love coffee and expresso and tiramisu. But, the whole thing just wasn't what I thought it would taste like. Now I know. :-( Creamy, sweet, smooth, with a kick of coffee all come together to make a great tiramisu. This is what most people love about it. I don't know if they are planning on opening a store or not. The pop ups are doing well it seems. I will try other items whenever I can get to one of the pop ups.

What went from ordering 1 pastry each turned into 8 total.. and we regret nothing. The Tiramisu Danish was exactly as I had hoped for! The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up
