    Maple latte
    Megan F.

I stopped in this morning because I needed a pick me up. This location is very small, but very convenient for all your Glendale shopping errands. The lady working was so friendly, and offered the best customer service. I tried a holiday drink and got a maple latte. It was perfection, not too sweet! They do offer some seating inside as well.

First note, whoever was working the Saturday shift around 11 am is just lovely. My friend and I came in seeking coffee and a/c and she gave us such a warm welcome, shared some menu suggestions, and we chatted a bit about the Fishers location as well. It's been a tough year for me personally and I hope employees in the service industry know just how much their warm welcomes and smiles can make such a big impact so thank you to whoever that was for just having such a calm and kind presence. It made such a difference to my morning. On top of that, the hot masala chai was fantastic!! After spending a lot of time in India, I really crave a certain flavor of chai that does not taste like it was made with a lot of syrups and this one was just sooo good. It was perfectly flavorful but not sweetened. Also, the space is so cute! It's small with a few seats by the window as well as a cozy couch. So glad we popped in here today!

I just discovered this coffee shop, located in Glendale Town Center across the parking lot from the Landmark Cinema. The cafe is very cute and cozy with minimal seating, but there is space to sit and work while you enjoy your drink. There is free WiFi. I went a little after noon and it wasn't too busy, so I was greeted quickly and able to order with no wait. They are a bit pricey, but comparable to other local coffee shops. I went with an iced Lavender Dream latte, which was flavored with lavender and vanilla. The drink was yummy, but I wish the flavors were a bit stronger. They did have a variety of drinks and flavors so I will definitely be back to try another drink and some of their pastries.

The perfect way to start your day is with a latte! See what I did there? Haha I was headed to my favorite place, Target (yes, it's a problem haha) and eyed this cute little gem on the corner. It was later in the evening so they were closed at the time. This morning I made it my business to stop in before heading to the office. It's a small but cozy coffee shop. There's a couch and bar like seating available. They have free wi-fi so it's perfect if you work remotely. Georgia was my barista, she was so welcoming and friendly. She asked my name although it's not required & did a great job of building rapport. I appreciate that! She also let me know they have only been open for a little over a month but have a second location in Fishers. The prices are very reasonable. I ordered the Brown Suga' Shook w/ oat milk. It is sooo yummy & not too sweet. 9/10 & that's only because I wish it was a little more hot to temperature but I know to ask for that on my next visit because there will be a next visit haha. If you're in Broad Ripple and looking for a quick pick me up be sure to stop here!

Have you ever discovered a locally owned business and instantly worried about it? That's kind of how I feel about the new Niyyah Coffee opened at Glendale Town Center on the ground floor of the main Ayr Apartments building (directly next to the Carter's). With a free-standing Starbucks being constructed facing North Keystone, I can't help but hope this small, independent coffee shop thrives in this quiet little corner. This is the second Niyyah location in Central Indiana with the first being in Fishers. This is almost what I'd call a "pocket" coffeeshop. It's a smaller yet beautifully decorated location with maybe a dozen seats indoor - most are of the high-top variety with the exception of a couple of smaller tables toward the east side of the location. I have to say that I instantly felt welcome here. There's a warmth in the decor and in the personnel. The young woman working the counter (owner? manager?) was an absolute delight in hospitality and was quick to show me their seasonal menu. In addition to this second location, Niyyah also has a coffee cart that can be rented. While there's a simplicity to the decor, this is an up-and-coming area including the luxury Ayr Apartments. The newly re-opened Glendale Branch library is also down the street. There's lots of potential here and graphics on the Niyyah website would seem to indicate plans for outdoor seating at some point. That will be a huge boost. Within walking distance, you have a movie theater, Target, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, Carter's, and more. It's honestly a great little area. Niyyah has all the usual coffee options including several that can be iced or hot. I ordered a large iced Americano that was an absolute delight with a smoothness not attained by a lot of coffee joints. They also carry some baked goods. They do have Wifi and there was one person working in a corner. They've only been open since the weekend, though I'm not alone in having been watching this spot to see when they would open. I am not one of those people who hates Starbucks, however, I am one of those people who prefers to support local. I loved everything about this visit, though I do wish there was a tad more accessible seating. Directly on the wall, it is explained that "Niyyah" means "intention" in Arabic. While this is a smaller location (quite a bit smaller than Fishers), there's an undeniable warmth and welcome with a genuine hospitality from the person working here that made me anxious to return. There's no doubt I'll be returning often.

I'm all for independent coffee shops, and this new one in the heart of the Gendale area is sure to become one of my favorites. Warm and inviting interior with friendly staff greeting you, the options for coffee and tea are dazzling. We went with the "MVP"coffee (maple syrup, vanilla, pumpkin spice) and Masala Chai Latte, and all I can say is I wanted a second as soon as I finished mine, as did my daughter with hers. There are delectable food options too, that will be tried on another day, including the TikTok famous Dubai Chocolate!

(only half of a muffin in the photo because we ate before pics - it was much prettier) The muffin was so good and fresh, and my partner loved her brown sugar latte. This is some of the best matcha I've had in Indy -- perfect! The girl working the counter was so sweet and friendly! The area was super clean and calming, a great place to sit and chat with comfy chairs!

Niyyah's Fishers location is already one of my favorites, and it's so nice to have a location closer to home. This stop checks a lot of boxes that I look for in a favorite coffee shop - most importantly to me, locally-owned with a fantastic menu, convenient location with plentiful parking, and a variety of fun coffee drinks. I will say, this spot is smaller inside with less group seating for visiting and geared instead towards working with high-top tables against the wall or window. I'll still be a frequent visitor for a coffee while running errands at Target or the shops nearby, but I'll avoid visiting with large groups to socialize with the way the seating is set up.

    Busy Bee

Wild prices for basic Starbucks styled drips, I was bumped over eight bucks for a large non dairy latte. Well silly for no house crafted sauces or syrups, Provider and its twin Coat Check are the only caffeine cozies getting close to qualifying for price gouging due to their sublime entirely hand made ingredients and even milks. Compared to that lofty once a year guilty treat, I am hesitant to nod towards Niyyan with many better value and quality java juice options like Rabble, Gaia, Blue Mind, Bovaconti, and Commissary. I did enjoy my busy Bee concoction well enough while lacking any dept to flavors, flair to latte art, or espresso bite. This is a fun little secondary location in the heart of reformed Broadripple. The staff was exceptional and parking plentiful.

    3/10 matcha

I unfortunately had a pretty terrible experience here today which is unfortunate because I've loved it in the past and work very close to the Broad Ripple location. I went in to get a Fruitloop Matcha, which i have had once before, and it was delicious. My order was a hot Matcha with almond milk and Fruitloop syrup. Their bored says hot Matcha is six dollars plus a dollar to add almond milk. So when the barista, who seemed bothered that I was there to begin with, told me my total was $8.50...I was kind of confused. regardless I was prompted to tap to pay. I asked if I could get a receipt and the barista was very unkind and seemed bothered once again that I would ask such a crazy thing. She then told me that they're not able to print receipts and asked if she could just flip the screen around to show me. I said that was fine and when I looked into it, I was overcharged by a dollar. My total should have come out to $7.50 plus tax after the almond milk and syrup. I described my confusion to the barista and she basically said I don't know what to tell you. I can call my manager if you want. She calls her manager and tells them that I'm complaining about the price and how I didn't even tip(she never even gave me an option to tip) this whole conversation was on speaker and I was the only one in the whole coffee shop. When she gets off the phone, she tells me that they have updated their pricing and there is now a one dollar charge when using a card. At least I knew where the charge came from even though that was annoying. The saving grace of this was they did comp my drink due to the undisclosed information. I was very disappointed in my Matcha, however, as a very clearly wasn't pre-mixed and is so clumpy (pictured).

Stumbled upon the cutest coffee shop! The barista was so nice and helpful, she recommended some options based on what I typically order. I ended up getting an iced cinnamon roll signature latte and the cinnamon roll muffin! The latte was excellent, sweet but not too sweet. The muffin was delicious, it was warmed up, very moist and flavorful! The coffee shop was so cute and colorful and was a great spot to do some work while enjoying a delicious coffee! Definitely recommend checking out!

Such a cute coffee shop - very clean and modern. I ordered the matcha and it was one of the best i've had at a local coffee shop. It is obvious they use ceremonial grade matcha and prepare it properly. The barista was SO sweet and truly wanted to customize our drinks for us. I will be back!

Soup was OK, sandwiches were OK. I got a side of chips (not made in-house) for $3. My daughter was upset when we arrived bc she was napping in the car and she proceeded to cry for about the first 10 minutes so, I walked around with her to calm her before I sat down since it's so cramped to try not to disturb everyone else. She was not happy the entire time so we were trying to calm her and feed her. Cake slices and cheesecake are $17-20 each. They're large but other reviews say dry and taste old. That's pricey. We skipped dessert at those prices based on the quality of the rest of our meal... I got an $8 peppermint mocha which was good but, served in the smallest teacup imaginable. It's extremely small inside. Like, uncomfortable. Granted, I had a lot of items with my baby and her and we were seated at a table for two with her in my lap but it was close quarters and the waitresses were squeezing between the chairs to walk around. They have about 6 tables inside with a small event private room in back. Our waitress was kind but, the manager or owner was off-putting. She went to every single table seated except ours to ask how their meal was and experience and, when time to pay, she wanted to personally ring me up to ensure we left in a hurry. I get it, some places are not meant for babies, but, since it's billed specifically to kids, I thought this was. Nope, I was wrong. (She's 19 months - so, too young for this bougie of an establishment clearly) I would not come back at all unless it was for my, older daughter to have a birthday cake experience and get a couple cute pics. It was actual graham cracker and marshmallow that they took into the back to use a torch on and give that extra-smokey, warm gooey feel to it. It did take awhile to get our milkshakes. One older woman was working her butt off but clearly getting frustrated at the mounting line and the fact that things kept falling. (Good to see: if something fell on the floor, she took it into the back to, presumably, toss it into the cleaning area) At one point, she asked for someone in the back to come help her, but that young teen seemed to be doing the bare minimum. I'm not sure if it's because they're untrained or not allowed to operate some of the machinery, but while this woman is frantically trying to keep up with things, he'd do what he was told to do, relatively slowly, and then stand around and wait for a new command. It was frustrating ME to watch. I can't imagine how that feels as a co-worker. All-in-all, we had about a 15-20 minute to receive our milkshakes. Definitely worth it in the end, but it's just something to note before popping in. I'd say it was definitely worth it for the unique flavor and quality when it was all done. The place looks a little "hole in the wall" with a few tables and chairs in an older building with the single, for-customers restroom in it. If you like the older, diner-esque style building that's been around for a long time, it has that vibe. Both of our milkshakes included a to-go lid right on them that we could snap on. Unlike some "crazy milkshake" establishments, the lids could actually go on both of the milkshakes after a few sips. The toppings were large but not insurmountable.

My husband returned with a big glass bottle of cold water (and some of the flimsiest plastic cups that I've ever held). The water was a nice, and necessary, touch. The dishes are rich! They are rich in the best way possible, though. The event provided a complimentary crepe with your choice of fruit, and a cookie skillet with ice cream. My husband couldn't decide on which fruit(s) to get, so the employee just told him that they'd hook it up for us. The crepe came out, and it was so beautiful...it was almost too pretty to eat! They provided us with an array of fruit to accompany it; bananas, strawberries, pineapples, and kiwi. The addition of the fruit really helped to cut through the richness of the chocolate. The crepe was the perfect, delicate vehicle for all of it! I probably ate about a 1/3 of it, and tried so save room for the cookie. I'm not a real "sweets" eater, but everything here just looks so good! The cookie skillet came out warm, gooey, and with its own generous drizzling of chocolate under a scoop of ice cream (& whipped cream if my memory serves me correctly). The cookie by itself was really delicious. In the future, I will omit the addition of chocolate sauce. It really didn't need it. I look forward to another fun dessert date with my hubby at this really SWEET lounge! P.S. All of the portion sizes that I saw were shareable. Bae and I could've shared either one of those desserts and been good. I also saw a woman sharing a sweet treat with her two children, and several other patrons were sharing. We all know that sharing means caring!
