(Next time, I'll know to ask for no whipped cream on iced matchas even when ordered with coconut milk; I didn't know they came with whip, and I'm dairy free so I had to have them remake my drink. It was a smidge awkward, but they were super nice about it!) Mini BFF was with me and got one of the fruit pastries ... you know, they're shaped like the fruit, have the macaron-esque shell with cream and fruit inside? I didn't check prices first--didn't see them listed--and ended up paying a whopping $11 for it. Eek! Mini loved it, though! I just will likely have her get a different treat in the future. This terrific Yemeni coffee shop in Fishers not far from I - 69 was a great find. Our son-in-law actually took us there and knew it was good from past experience. He works not far from this location and had visited a couple of times in the past. It is located in a relatively nice-looking plaza with good neighboring shops. The interior as we walked in was strikingly pleasant. It had a nice airy, spacious feeling and was well-appointed with agreeable coloring and decor. It offered a nice place to enjoy food and drink while chatting, working, reading or simply relaxing. The menu was interesting as it was mostly coffee creations, teas, pastries/baked goods and a few specialty cold drinks. But many of the offerings were very intriguing. There were four of us. My son-in-law tried the Mocha and thought it was nicely done. My wife and daughter each had an iced Butter Cookie Latte. I had a taste and was favorably impressed. I had a Jubani Coffee, which is a medium light roast coffee and coffee husks with cardamom, ginger and cinnamon. It was a burst of flavor and provided quite an enjoyable change of pace. The younger ones had two varieties of bagel bites, Classic Jalapeño and Olive. My wife and I split a Butter Cookie Kunafa, which was served in a generous portion and was wonderfully textured with terrific taste. Our bill was $59 including food, drink, tax and tip. Given the fare and the overall experience, I thought this was OK as a treat. I saw that this place is part of a chain of 30 shops that is based in Dearborn, MI. This is not far from our home in SE Michigan, so we will look for an opportunity to find another shop near us. read more

For the past few years there have been multiple coffee shops opening in this area which is so exciting. I enjoyed the Qahwah House and its beautiful space inside. The have many varieties of drinks that American coffee shops do not offer. I didn't think I liked cardamom that much, but their coffee tasted very good with it. I am sure this was an isolated event, but my order took a very long time. After paying, I waited waited and waited patiently as they seemed a bit busy (but not swamped). 30 minutes had passed and I checked back with them. Looks like the order went through or forgotten. They apologized and I got my coffee a few minutes later. Had it been not for this long wait, my experience would have been 5 stars. However, I really liked the place and I'll go back. read more

The cookie butter latte was so delicious it was nearly gone before I could even get to the car. They have some solid options to satisfy a sweet tooth, as well. The food is good the place is super loud with a lot of people talking at the same time laughing and music too. Is like too much going on at the same time. My husband and I didn't feel comfortable it didn't seem real organized and welcome their faces were telling us get out your hot welcome at all. They don't have much of a dessert choice. But that's just me. When I go to a coffee shop I like to listen to soft music feel welcome and relax. Have different kind of bites of pastries. And most important is feeling welcome with a smile not a big angry frown and not even say hello welcome. Just what do you want to order!! They were so busy because I picked the end of Ramadan but I definitely think it was worth the wait! I tried the Iced Yemeni Latte, which had a really nice blend of spices in it. I was able to meet someone for a business meeting. It was perfect in many ways. The business is very large, lots of seating and even some quiet areas to sit and talk. As we were discussing business, I saw many come in and sit down to work or just have coffee. What a great vibe when you find a hangout with great coffee and food items! For whatever reason, I was asked what I wanted and a spit out Nutella Latte with 1/2 the sugar items included. What, I never order that. I have no idea where that person came from that morning, but that is where we were at that point. Anyway, it was so so good. Lighter on the nutella and the coffee came through. I was also able to try an almond danish, wowzer, loved it. The croissant is a little different than what you would anticipate, but oh so good. Just come, give them the business. They were so inviting and answered all questions and made you feel very welcome. This place is lovely inside. There's lots of space to work or meet with friends. Had a work meeting here, there were 5 of us and I was looking for a place that wouldn't be overly loud, had good lighting, plenty of seating and a warm vibe and this place checked literally all the boxes. Tucked away near Five Guys in Fishers if you aren't paying attention you may miss it. Once inside it is stunning. Feels like a bougie coffee shop not your average place. The menu is like something I've never seen, so many choices, many seasonal options, but it seems like you just can't go wrong with anything you ordered. I had a Chi Tea, however, one of my coworkers ordered a Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte and said it was amazing. Everyone loved what they ordered and as we were leaving a couple got a drink to go. Qahwah House is located by Target im Fishers. This morning I tried the Khaliat Alnahl (Honeycomb) and Ginger milk with Oatmilk. The Honeycomb is served warm with drizzle of honey and in certain bits you get a creamy ball of warm cheese. The Ginger Milk is got without sweetener, it was tasty. This place is lovely inside and has a wide variety of breads and treats for sale that look incredible. I got the adeni chai, which was fantastic and flavorful. You can get it sweetened at various levels, which is nice. My friend got the mofawar coffee, which I sampled and also really enjoyed! I had a pistachio latte with a "pistachio dream"- it was like a pistachio mousse with a knafeh (?) crust, not too sweet, perfect. Daughter had matcha latte and Khaliat Anhil (again, not sure I spelled it correctly)-a sweet bread stuffed w cream cheese-like filling, topped with sesame seeds and honey. I ordered the Jubani coffee and it was excellent, smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. My fiancé kept it classic with an espresso, and it definitely delivered. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which always makes the experience even better. We travel the country as healthcare workers and make it a point to find our favorite coffee shops everywhere we go. So far in Indianapolis, this one is at the top of our list. The is place is gorgeous. It's a lot bigger on the inside than what you would imagine when you see it from the outside. The ambience if very warm and the artwork in here is gorgeous. There is plenty of parking outside, due to being located in a strip with other businesses. There are approximately 12-15 tables, including two booths that are semi-connected. There is also a high top table that wraps around with approximately 6-10chairs. I ordered the strawberry and dragonfruit refresher. It was a bit sweet but it was still good. I asked an employee for a recommendation for a snack and he suggested the honeycomb which is bread, cream cheese in each pocket and honey drizzled on top. It's absolutely fantastic. I wanted two of them. It was warm, soft, not too sweet and delicious. Once you order, they give you a buzzer to keep until the buzzer goes off and they hand you the order at a separate part of the counter once it's done. The inside was more spacious than the outside appearance. I order the Yemeni Latte (cardamom, ginger, & cinnamon) sweetened. Over all it had a good taste but different due to the spice which also made it thick and chewy toward the end I would give it 3 out of 4 stars. We also wanted to try a small pot of Mofawar sweetened which was different tasting, I would give it a 2 out of 4 stars. It reminding my of pot roast juice with carrots, could have just been me. The Yemen Chocolate was 3 out of 4 stars, it wasn't quite as good as the Dubai chocolate at Staffa. I asked for recommendations with or without sugar when we ordered, but their only response was "I like sugar" and seemed confused that we would ask, so I wouldn't rely on their recommendations. The dragon fruit refresher could last me all day, just right. I found the macchiato and lavender matcha to be way too sweet for my taste. I prefer more of a strong matcha and strong coffee flavor to hit my tastebuds rather than syrup right off the bat. When I return I will order and ask for only 1/3 the amt of syrup. Others may be used to really sweet, but not me. Great atmosphere and nice staff. I hope they'll build an additional store in zionsville/whitestown area, closer to where I live. read more

Qahwah is the highest quality coffee in the Indianapolis area. Better than Starbucks, better than the other 2 coffee shops within the 1/2 mile radius. I haven't tried the baked goods but they look delicious. Service is friendly. It's a large coffeehouse with a chill vibe. read more
