Quaint tea room nestled in a refurbished house. While you are waiting for a table, browse the mini shopping areas throughout that include, jewelry, shoes, hats and more. A variety of teas are offered along with soups, salads and sandwiches. Service was wonderful. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Stepping in the door is a step into the home of an elegant lady from a different era. The store and shopping is current along with an inventive menu. The ambiance for the (primarily) female diners reminds me of 'ladies who lunch' in old movies I watched growing up. I have spied the occasional man in the dining room joining ladies. And, don't assume the food is not filling. It is. If you arrive near the tea room's closing: 3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturdays, expect them to be out of some items. There items are mostly made fresh. The retail store is open longer than the tea room. And, this isn't just a place you drop in because you're passing by. Make A Reservation! I've mentioned this before about smaller independent specialty restaurants. The food is fresh, staffing is optimized and it's just rude to expect seating because your party showed up unannounced. I visit this gem of a place a few times a year. Every time I leave; I think this is a place to frequent more often.

I wish tea time could be all the time! I hosted a high tea for my birthday today (4/27), and planning the party was very easy with the help of Debbie, the owner of Twigs and Tea. When I arrived at Twigs, I was very impressed with how they decorated the dining room for my party. Each table setting was decorated with flowers, personal teacups, and place cards, which was a very charming touch. While I waited for my friends to arrive, I browsed in the boutique up front, which had some very cute jewelry for reasonable prices. There were also several locations for photo ops, where Hillary and Camille were kind enough to take pictures of the whole group. I was amazed with the variety of teas on the menu, but I decided on the Paris, which is Twigs and Tea's signature blend. It was light and fruity with a hint of vanilla--perfect for a spring morning! I also tried a sip of the caramel apple tea, which had notes of cinnamon that overpowered the intended apple flavor. Since I was hosting a private party, my group had the tea party tower, a sampling platter of classic tea party treats artfully arranged on a beautiful ceramic tower. The cranberry scones with clotted cream were my favorite part! For normal lunches, Twigs and Tea also has a menu with salads, soups, and sandwiches. The cherry on top of my amazing birthday party was the homemade raspberry and almond cake! The decorations were adorable, and the raspberry filling was the perfect mix of sour and sweet. I absolutely love Twigs and Tea, and I know I will be back soon!

Friends gathered together at Twigs and tea. I've said it before and it's worth saying again, it's a great place to have lunch and do some shopping. Today I'm featuring photos of the desserts and a peel at some of the clothing and home decor. I've purchased clothing, shoes and decor and have been very satisfied. And when they have a sale, it's a good one! They have unique things you won't find in other stores which is nice too!

Our women's travel club met for a 1pm lunch. 18 of us! Filled the back room. Our server, Donna, asked that we order food first so the kitchen could get started. Very smart! Her recommendations for ice tea were perfect. Many of us enjoyed Paris tea or peach tree. Before meal service we wanted a group photo. They knew just what to do to get us all in the picture. Then the food came! One person ordered high tea. The rest ordered off the menu. Quiche of the day spinach and 4 Cheeses. Or chicken salad egg salad combo with broccoli salad. People literally scraped their bowls! I opted for the Greenwich.. Sliced apples cheese, Brussel sprouts Slaw and cream cheese sandwich with a salad. My add on: Cranberry scone with clotted cream. The service was very friendly. It did take awhile to be served. Understandable for a group Our size. Lunch plus tea prices averaged $20. Well worth it for the tea refills! Will be back!

I visited Twigs & Tea for lunch with my mom and this little gem did not disappoint. The staff provides excellent customer service and does a great job of providing recommendations for food and drink selections. I enjoyed a pot of the Paris tea. The chicken velvet soup is amazing and the unique Turkey melt is something I would recommend to anyone stopping by for the first time. My mom enjoyed the Croque Monsieur, along with the Blue Cheese & Pear salad. We loved everything! The atmosphere is beautiful and there is a wonderful boutique on site filled with cute clothing options and accessories. The upper level of the boutique has a great selection of items for home decor. Twigs & Tea is a great option for lunch or for a girls day of eating and shopping. There's a decent amount of parking available in front and on the side of the building. To ensure availability of tables, I would recommend making a reservation. You definitely will not be disappointed if you give Twigs & Tea a try. They have something for everyone.

This was my first visit here and their Holiday Open House brought me in. It is located in a fairly small, 2 story house in Fishers. There are two rooms, plus the Cafe, on the first floor and one room upstairs. It was very crowded being the Holiday Open House so patience was a virtue. The Cafe has several delectable, mini treats and drink for the guests. The pumpkin scones were my favorite. The shop is adorable and they have used the space wisely. They carry cute purses, jewelry, scraves and gloves, candles, some clothing and more. I did a little Christmas shopping while here. The staff was extremely friendly and explained we should make reservations in the future for tea. I look forward to returning when it isn't quite so cramped, shopping more and having tea and lunch.

We loved the Paris tea and the scones were extremely flavorful (split the pecan/cranberry and chocolate chip).

Apparently, it opened about 2 years ago and somehow, didn't have any Yelp reviews. Well, I always enjoy checking out gift shops, especially when they feature a great deal from local artisans. When I first entered, I realized that the shop has three sections/rooms. The first is mostly gift items featuring candles that are made by and support women at Wheeler Misssion, funny socks, and a variety of items that suitable for gifts. Many have inspirational themes as well. The room beyond that features women's clothing and jewelry. I will let someone else who knows more about those things review these items, but the space was colorful and easy to move around in. The back room, or man cave, is small but is a great place for guys to hang out while their lady friend shops. There is a TV back there as well as some items that might be fun gifts for men. They've figured out the shopping experience of married life here! ha! Although I didn't get to meet the owner, the woman who was working during my visit was friendly and very helpful filling me in on the source of items and how the owner supports other local businesses and artisans. The kind of business that lots of Yelpers also support, so if you are in Fishers, check this place out before shopping at some big box store or online. It was a place I felt welcomed. Review #3723

I usually shop at the store on Mass Ave, but I was in Carmel, so decided to check it out. The clerks were busy stocking shelves for Christmas when we entered, but welcomed us with big smiles. The shop seems a bit smaller that their other location, but still carries most of the same merchandise. They are known for their silver jewelry by various artists. Currently, they are featuring charm necklaces. An Indiana theme runs throughout the store with everything from Indiana necklaces to Indiana kitchen towels. It's a great place to pick up a gift with candles, art and even some local foods. I even saw a few toys and puzzles today for the kids. I was looking for a funny card and they have a small selection of cards but they were somewhat inappropriate to give a daughter. But they do have lots of crazy socks.
