Nice tea spot. My tea was spot on, I ordered a black tea called Paris and it was delicious. The tea tasted of caramel and vanilla and a bit of Bergamot. Really enjoyed it, I drank the whole pot. We had reservations and they accommodated 10 of us. I had ordered the high tea when the reservation was made, they need to know this in advance. The high tea was $45 on this day. Our waitress did an excellent job of taking care of us. On this day the two cakes they had were a raspberry coconut and a chocolate bourbon. They both looked delicious. I did bring a slice of the raspberry coconut ($10) home for the hubby and he loved it. My high tea had 8 finger sandwiches on the first tier, a scone and clotted cream on the second tier, and 2 macarons, white petit cake, and raspberry shortcake on the third tier. Also while we waited for them to prep our table we shopped in the gift shop at the entrance. They also had a nice sale going on where the clothes on the porch were 50% off and some others inside as well. Nice spot, the only thing is construction going on near it and parking is a bit of bear. Although I did find a spot right out front.

Great experience! I was shopping nearby and decided it was time for lunch. How about a tea shop? (Thank you, #whereisSherman?) There was plenty of parking, since in front, more to the side. The rennovated house is charming and you're greeted inside (also, maybe on the porch) with their boutique clothes and gifts. I was seated quickly as there were only 5 people in the main room. The second room was filled with a large group. Grace was my server and she did a lovely job, not rush me but being very attentive (until the end.) I tried the Paris tea which I cannot make at home. Theirs was delicious with a little cream. Yum. I drank an entire pot. I also ordered the pick two-chicken salad and lemon chicken soup. The soup came out tepid and it took me a while to get Grace's attention as she was also serving the large group but this was finally remedied. The soup was delicious and chock full of chicken and vegetables. I also loved the chicken salad, served on a lightly dressed bed of greens with candied pecans on top. It took far too long to get my bill but I'll blame that on the large group, maybe.

Quaint tea room nestled in a refurbished house. While you are waiting for a table, browse the mini shopping areas throughout that include, jewelry, shoes, hats and more. A variety of teas are offered along with soups, salads and sandwiches. Service was wonderful. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Stepping in the door is a step into the home of an elegant lady from a different era. The store and shopping is current along with an inventive menu. The ambiance for the (primarily) female diners reminds me of 'ladies who lunch' in old movies I watched growing up. I have spied the occasional man in the dining room joining ladies. And, don't assume the food is not filling. It is. If you arrive near the tea room's closing: 3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturdays, expect them to be out of some items. There items are mostly made fresh. The retail store is open longer than the tea room. And, this isn't just a place you drop in because you're passing by. Make A Reservation! I've mentioned this before about smaller independent specialty restaurants. The food is fresh, staffing is optimized and it's just rude to expect seating because your party showed up unannounced. I visit this gem of a place a few times a year. Every time I leave; I think this is a place to frequent more often.

I wish tea time could be all the time! I hosted a high tea for my birthday today (4/27), and planning the party was very easy with the help of Debbie, the owner of Twigs and Tea. When I arrived at Twigs, I was very impressed with how they decorated the dining room for my party. Each table setting was decorated with flowers, personal teacups, and place cards, which was a very charming touch. While I waited for my friends to arrive, I browsed in the boutique up front, which had some very cute jewelry for reasonable prices. There were also several locations for photo ops, where Hillary and Camille were kind enough to take pictures of the whole group. I was amazed with the variety of teas on the menu, but I decided on the Paris, which is Twigs and Tea's signature blend. It was light and fruity with a hint of vanilla--perfect for a spring morning! I also tried a sip of the caramel apple tea, which had notes of cinnamon that overpowered the intended apple flavor. Since I was hosting a private party, my group had the tea party tower, a sampling platter of classic tea party treats artfully arranged on a beautiful ceramic tower. The cranberry scones with clotted cream were my favorite part! For normal lunches, Twigs and Tea also has a menu with salads, soups, and sandwiches. The cherry on top of my amazing birthday party was the homemade raspberry and almond cake! The decorations were adorable, and the raspberry filling was the perfect mix of sour and sweet. I absolutely love Twigs and Tea, and I know I will be back soon!

Friends gathered together at Twigs and tea. I've said it before and it's worth saying again, it's a great place to have lunch and do some shopping. Today I'm featuring photos of the desserts and a peel at some of the clothing and home decor. I've purchased clothing, shoes and decor and have been very satisfied. And when they have a sale, it's a good one! They have unique things you won't find in other stores which is nice too!

We loved the Paris tea and the scones were extremely flavorful (split the pecan/cranberry and chocolate chip).

Apparently, it opened about 2 years ago and somehow, didn't have any Yelp reviews. Well, I always enjoy checking out gift shops, especially when they feature a great deal from local artisans. When I first entered, I realized that the shop has three sections/rooms. The first is mostly gift items featuring candles that are made by and support women at Wheeler Misssion, funny socks, and a variety of items that suitable for gifts. Many have inspirational themes as well. The room beyond that features women's clothing and jewelry. I will let someone else who knows more about those things review these items, but the space was colorful and easy to move around in. The back room, or man cave, is small but is a great place for guys to hang out while their lady friend shops. There is a TV back there as well as some items that might be fun gifts for men. They've figured out the shopping experience of married life here! ha! Although I didn't get to meet the owner, the woman who was working during my visit was friendly and very helpful filling me in on the source of items and how the owner supports other local businesses and artisans. The kind of business that lots of Yelpers also support, so if you are in Fishers, check this place out before shopping at some big box store or online. It was a place I felt welcomed. Review #3723

I usually shop at the store on Mass Ave, but I was in Carmel, so decided to check it out. The clerks were busy stocking shelves for Christmas when we entered, but welcomed us with big smiles. The shop seems a bit smaller that their other location, but still carries most of the same merchandise. They are known for their silver jewelry by various artists. Currently, they are featuring charm necklaces. An Indiana theme runs throughout the store with everything from Indiana necklaces to Indiana kitchen towels. It's a great place to pick up a gift with candles, art and even some local foods. I even saw a few toys and puzzles today for the kids. I was looking for a funny card and they have a small selection of cards but they were somewhat inappropriate to give a daughter. But they do have lots of crazy socks. There is street parking or parking behind the building.
