Nice tea spot. My tea was spot on, I ordered a black tea called Paris and it was delicious. The tea tasted of caramel and vanilla and a bit of Bergamot. Really enjoyed it, I drank the whole pot. We had reservations and they accommodated 10 of us. I had ordered the high tea when the reservation was made, they need to know this in advance. The high tea was $45 on this day. Our waitress did an excellent job of taking care of us. On this day the two cakes they had were a raspberry coconut and a chocolate bourbon. They both looked delicious. I did bring a slice of the raspberry coconut ($10) home for the hubby and he loved it. My high tea had 8 finger sandwiches on the first tier, a scone and clotted cream on the second tier, and 2 macarons, white petit cake, and raspberry shortcake on the third tier. Also while we waited for them to prep our table we shopped in the gift shop at the entrance. They also had a nice sale going on where the clothes on the porch were 50% off and some others inside as well. Nice spot, the only thing is construction going on near it and parking is a bit of bear. Great experience! I was shopping nearby and decided it was time for lunch. How about a tea shop? (Thank you, #whereisSherman?) There was plenty of parking, since in front, more to the side. The rennovated house is charming and you're greeted inside (also, maybe on the porch) with their boutique clothes and gifts. I was seated quickly as there were only 5 people in the main room. The second room was filled with a large group. Grace was my server and she did a lovely job, not rush me but being very attentive (until the end.) I tried the Paris tea which I cannot make at home. Theirs was delicious with a little cream. Yum. I drank an entire pot. I also ordered the pick two-chicken salad and lemon chicken soup. The soup came out tepid and it took me a while to get Grace's attention as she was also serving the large group but this was finally remedied. The soup was delicious and chock full of chicken and vegetables. I also loved the chicken salad, served on a lightly dressed bed of greens with candied pecans on top. The ambiance for the (primarily) female diners reminds me of 'ladies who lunch' in old movies I watched growing up. I have spied the occasional man in the dining room joining ladies. And, don't assume the food is not filling. It is. If you arrive near the tea room's closing: 3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturdays, expect them to be out of some items. There items are mostly made fresh. The retail store is open longer than the tea room. And, this isn't just a place you drop in because you're passing by. Make A Reservation! I've mentioned this before about smaller independent specialty restaurants. The food is fresh, staffing is optimized and it's just rude to expect seating because your party showed up unannounced. I wish tea time could be all the time! I hosted a high tea for my birthday today (4/27), and planning the party was very easy with the help of Debbie, the owner of Twigs and Tea. When I arrived at Twigs, I was very impressed with how they decorated the dining room for my party. Each table setting was decorated with flowers, personal teacups, and place cards, which was a very charming touch. While I waited for my friends to arrive, I browsed in the boutique up front, which had some very cute jewelry for reasonable prices. There were also several locations for photo ops, where Hillary and Camille were kind enough to take pictures of the whole group. I was amazed with the variety of teas on the menu, but I decided on the Paris, which is Twigs and Tea's signature blend. It was light and fruity with a hint of vanilla--perfect for a spring morning! I also tried a sip of the caramel apple tea, which had notes of cinnamon that overpowered the intended apple flavor. Since I was hosting a private party, my group had the tea party tower, a sampling platter of classic tea party treats artfully arranged on a beautiful ceramic tower. The cranberry scones with clotted cream were my favorite part! For normal lunches, Twigs and Tea also has a menu with salads, soups, and sandwiches. The cherry on top of my amazing birthday party was the homemade raspberry and almond cake! The decorations were adorable, and the raspberry filling was the perfect mix of sour and sweet. I had my bridal shower here today, the service was good and the food was good, but we were for some reason only offered one kind of tea, which we found extremely odd. When we asked if that was the only tea we could have, they confirmed that was the only tea they were serving that day along with soda or lemonade. Celebrating a birthday here was really special. The decor is charming and the wait staff super outgoing...and good at the upsell. I enjoyed a pot of peach tea while others had iced Paris, the house special. The chicken velvet soup was reminiscent of LS Ayres days. The sausage and apple quiche was good as well but I loved the house champagne vinaigrette on the accompanying salad. The birthday girl received a complimentary ice cream with raspberry sauce and we also ordered a bread pudding with an awesome raspberry cream sauce. Everyone loved their scone with clotted cream too. Went here with a group of 10 ladies, and we really enjoyed our selves. I arrived early in order to greet our group, and found myself shopping in their little boutique. It is in a small room of the entrance, but is packed with beautiful women's clothing, shoes and accesories. The day I was there, they were having a sale with one rack at 60% off and another long rack at 50% off. I managed to snag 3 dresses for my upcoming cruisse for only $85. I loved not only the clothing, but the huge array of accesories. Many unique earrings, beautiful bracelets and stunning necklaces. Upstairs is another shopping area with home decor. So many Ester bunnies! Again, unique and unusual home decor. Whoever does their buying, does a great job. Many of the beauties I saw in both shops were differant than anything I have seen elsewhere. The majority of us ordered from the menu, and they do have many choices on their menu. I went with a combo plate with chicken salad and a pear, walnut and blue cheese salad. The chicken salad was very good, but the salad was the star! There was a small upcharge, but well worth it. I also ordered a delicious blueberry scone with clotted cream, and it was divine. I took a piece of the bourbon chocolate cake home with me to share with my husband. It was a large piece, and plenty to share. My only complaint that the parking is dififcult. They do have parking around the front and side of their lovely renovated home/building,but not nearly enough for the amount of customers. There are parking spaces further down the block in a residential area, but it is a little jaunt to the restaraunt. It wouldn't deter me, however. I thought the menu said it came with one side. There were three listed, small salad, fruit, and one other. The server offered a "side of the day", a pasta salad. I took my friend to the Twigs & Tea Room for lunch on Wed., Oct. 25, 2023 and it was an absolutely wonderful experience for both of us. The food was excellent and so was the hot tea that I ordered. Their scones are out of this world GOOD and I even took some frozen ones home to share with my daughter. All of the staff were so friendly and personable. Every single one had smiles and warm greetings. They have a lovely boutique downstairs with tons of beautiful jewelry and other clothing and accessory items. We were told that upstairs there was home decor and other items, but I am on a cane and both of us couldn't navigate the stairs. Hopefully another time we will be able to manage the stairs and take a peek. We will be going back again because it was so nice. They were already decorated for Christmas too! Our women's travel club met for a 1pm lunch. 18 of us! Filled the back room. Our server, Donna, asked that we order food first so the kitchen could get started. Very smart! Her recommendations for ice tea were perfect. Many of us enjoyed Paris tea or peach tree. Before meal service we wanted a group photo. They knew just what to do to get us all in the picture. Then the food came! One person ordered high tea. The rest ordered off the menu. Quiche of the day spinach and 4 Cheeses. Or chicken salad egg salad combo with broccoli salad. People literally scraped their bowls! I opted for the Greenwich.. Sliced apples cheese, Brussel sprouts Slaw and cream cheese sandwich with a salad. My add on: Cranberry scone with clotted cream. The staff provides excellent customer service and does a great job of providing recommendations for food and drink selections. I enjoyed a pot of the Paris tea. The chicken velvet soup is amazing and the unique Turkey melt is something I would recommend to anyone stopping by for the first time. My mom enjoyed the Croque Monsieur, along with the Blue Cheese & Pear salad. We loved everything! The atmosphere is beautiful and there is a wonderful boutique on site filled with cute clothing options and accessories. The upper level of the boutique has a great selection of items for home decor. Twigs & Tea is a great option for lunch or for a girls day of eating and shopping. There's a decent amount of parking available in front and on the side of the building. This was my first visit here and their Holiday Open House brought me in. It is located in a fairly small, 2 story house in Fishers. There are two rooms, plus the Cafe, on the first floor and one room upstairs. It was very crowded being the Holiday Open House so patience was a virtue. The Cafe has several delectable, mini treats and drink for the guests. The pumpkin scones were my favorite. The shop is adorable and they have used the space wisely. They carry cute purses, jewelry, scraves and gloves, candles, some clothing and more. I did a little Christmas shopping while here. The staff was extremely friendly and explained we should make reservations in the future for tea. I look forward to returning when it isn't quite so cramped, shopping more and having tea and lunch. read more

Although I didn't stop by for lunch, I did have an enjoyable time on a cold winter afternoon trying some tea and a scone. This house turned business has its own parking along the south side of the building. After a few steps up into the place, I found a boutique of jewelry and home items as well as some teas. They even have more upstairs! I was greeted and asked if I wanted to dine (Yes!) and they asked my name. When I had finished browsing, I was led back to a table with a small bell/ornament with my name written on it. The table was a 2-top though most in the room were 4 tops. The room was filled with ladies chatting away while munching on sandwiches that looked colorful and tasty, with what may have been croissant breading, but I'm not certain since most were partially consumed. I had already eaten, so I perused the tea menu and the waitress/hostess suggested a scone. I selected one of the three available on that day, an apple cinnamon scone. For my tea option, I went with a black tea called "Cranberry Autumn" with the tart berry and some orange flavors and aromas in the tea. The tea was brought out dipped in a white pot and with a timer that was counting down how long the tea needed to steep. I asked and didn't need to remove the tea bag from the pot, but it was suggested to wait until the sands had dropped to assure that the tea was ready. Delicious!! I began on the scone which was served with a warmed whipped ball of butter in a small dish. The scone was only about 4 inches in length and maybe a couple wide at the outside end. There was a light drizzle of cinnamon icing on top. The scone was fresh and tasty, even in the afternoon! Points for that! The hints of tangy and citrus in the tea paired well with the sweet and savory of the scone. I love when the beverage and food enhance each other's flavors. Very courteous and welcoming staff made for a pleasant visit. They do have afternoon teas with a large selection of food items which priced out about $32 each, but my pot of tea and scone were just over $5 excluding tip. This review is for their retail shop, I did not eat while in this shop. Twigs and Tea participated in small business Saturday here in Fishers. I stopped in because the window displays looked so pretty, and the retail shop did not disappoint! This place has lovely things! There was a decorated Christmas tree, lovely ceramic, wooden, glass and other ornaments all Christmas (faith based) and all so well coordinated, I wanted to buy the whole tree... or at least one of every ornament. I ended up getting three, maybe I'll go back for more later in December. They also had lovely tea things, pretty dishes, cute purses and accessories. I was in there for over 20 minutes and it's not that large a store. The gal working the retail area was sweet and helpful. I will definitely shop there again. read more

Tried to do a walk in for my wife's birthday lunch. I checked their website weeks before going. There was not a single mention of a reservation required. We show up and are turned away because we didn't have a reservation. I said I checked their site to see if I needed a reservation. I would have made a reservation if their site said so. The lady responded saying "we don't want to have that on our site so we can still have walk in".....we were walk ins and they couldn't accommodate us...BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE WHO MADE RESERVATIONS! Absolutely moronic logic. The store is small. It should have an option to make reservations. I clearly needed to make one. But had no clue cause their site did not communicate this in the slightest. This place is a hidden gem! I had no idea it had been open as long as it has. Very cute atmosphere when you walk in (also a little store). The tea room itself is a little tight and could use a little more decor, but overall, very cute. My friend and I made reservations in advance for the "afternoon tea." We enjoyed all the mini treats (great variety!) and were surprised with all the adorable little containers for cream and sorbet. Great tea selection-I wish I could have tried more of them! Absolutely amazing! From the amazing tea to the fresh food to the friendly service, we loved every second here and highly recommend for any event or casual tea time. We went for tea and lunch, but would love to try their desserts and breakfast items as well. We loved the Paris tea and the scones were extremely flavorful (split the pecan/cranberry and chocolate chip). Donna was our server. She had wonderful recommendations and was so delightful! This place was better than I expected. I like tea, but have never really been to a tea room so I didn't know what to expect, but it was so good. When entering you first come into a room full of home decor and jewelry. All of the stuff in this room is for sale and so cute! We had made a reservation so didn't have to wait at all. We were taken upstairs and the waitress came and checked on us frequently. The atmosphere is very relaxed and unique. The place itself is very unique with it being in an older house. It has a lot of character that you don't get from a normal chain restaurant. The food was amazing too. They have things from salads to sandwiches. I had the chicken salad and it was so good! The tea room itself is pretty small, so I'd suggest making reservations. And it should be noted that the 'Afternoon Tea' is available only with a reservation. I tried the turkey sandwich, and it was great! Wonderful flavors. I also had a fresh-made chocolate chip scone with clotted cream - amazing. It was literally JUST out of the oven. Delectable. An adorable place to go and enjoy lunch and a cup of tea. Be forewarned, you have to have reservations as the place is small and always very busy. My friend and I enjoyed wandering around their store looking at the unique home decor items, children's items and jewelry. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but it never feels crowded even when it's at full capacity. The servers there are very friendly and are eager to make suggestions. I was happy to discover that their tea flavors also could be ordered as ice tea. My friend and I both got sandwiches and they were very good, but the standout was their white chocolate raspberry bread pudding, it is amazing!!!
