More of an old school coffee house vibe. The safe door inside is a nice touch. Staff give off chill Central Perk vibes. And the coffee was fantastic. There's a nice patio area outside if it's good weather for it, too.
Great friendly service! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable on helping me decide on a refreshing iced coffee! Great vibes here! I highly recommend the patio and just loved it.
We love sitting in the courtyard (which reminds us of NOLA) and enjoying the drinks and baked goods here. Amy's go-to order is the Cafe Miele with a Cardamom roll while mine is the Spanish Latte with oatmilk and the chicken salad sandwich. Today I tried the LTO flavored coffee called the Baklava Latte - pistachio and salted honey. I asked for half the sweetness and oak milk. It was divine as usual. Whenever you visit downtown Carmel, look for the line outside on the corner of Main & Rangeline Road. Stay in the Que. it's worth the wait.
I switched things up today and decided to try a coffee spot in Carmel before a birthday dinner for my daughter. I've heard about Bovaconti Coffee for a while, but this was my first visit. From the moment I walked up, I had a feeling I was going to love this place. The art deco vibe on the corner entrance, the bronze doors...it just felt like something special. And it didn't disappoint. Inside, the atmosphere hits that sweet spot. The decor is clean and intentional, and the music is just the right level; chill enough to keep things relaxed, but not so mellow that it puts you to sleep. Whether you're meeting someone or getting work done, it works. The coffee was great! I love sweet heat, so "hot honey latte" was all I needed to see. The pastry case definitely caught my attention with plenty of options that looked worth coming back for. One thing that's absolutely worth noting...especially if you're planning to work from here...is the seating and outlet situation. In a world where coffee shops can feel like the Hunger Games trying to find a table near a plug, this place delivers. I counted nine tables along the bench wall alone, all within reach of an outlet. They've also got great outdoor seating for the nicer days, and even an old vault that's been converted into a quieter space...perfect if you need to take a call, have a more private conversation, or just lean into your inner introvert for a bit. All in all, this is a spot I can see myself returning to. Great vibe, great coffee, and a space that just feels easy to either lock-in for work or lean into a conversation with a friend.
Really quaint coffee shop located in the heart of the arts district in Carmel. Love the atmosphere and style along with the coffee. Croissants are SO GOOD, don't skip a pastry with your coffee! My only complaint is that there isn't enough space to spread out if there's 2-3 of you. It's great if you're working alone from here, but a majority of the tables are small round 1 person tables. You won't be able to fit 2 computers on these tables comfortably. If you're not coming here to work on your laptop, then this is a great spot to hangout and grab a drink! Do be mindful of what time you're coming here as the high school students flood in after school is out!
The store is in a great location at the corner of Main Street. It's got a great menu and very knowledgeable baristas. There is always a line but don't be discouraged as it moves pretty quickly.
This is my go to place to stop at while walking on the monon with kids. I love the outdoor patio and the bank room inside. The coffee and tea is delicious. Bonus they sell honest juice so my kids get super excited. If you come and it looks like a long line. Don't worry it moves fast.

I walked in not knowing that this was a renovated bank, so it was neat to see all the details that were left intact from the bank such as the vault door leading to the small nook is such a cute touch! I also loved the back patio, it was spacious and they allow dogs to sit outside. For the coffees, we got the tiger eye & the spanish latte, both very well made, but I do think that the pastries were the star of the show for me. We had the cardamom bun and the cinnamon bun croissant. This has quickly became one of my favorite stops in Carmel.

Cute and trendy coffee shop right on Main and Rangeline Road. Not even related to the coffee, but the cup design - ADORABLE. The inside of the shop matches the vibe - subtly pink and trendy and a high end feel with lots of windows. There's a fair amount of seat but it's not huge inside. The outside patio is a great option or with the location being so good, I'd grab one to go and walk around. They're always quick at making orders and I never really have to wait. So far I've only had decaf and drip coffee here and I've loved it. Great place to meet a friend or start your exploring in downtown Carmel.
This place is adorable! It has such a romantic and classy vibe. Both locations are unique from each other but have that same inviting ambiance. The coffee is always delicious and everyone working was very friendly. The croissants were fresh and delicious as well.
My brother recommended the coffee from this place and he was 100% right about how good this place was. At first the line exited the store doors, but it wasn't for nothing. What we liked the most was their croissants with almonds, with dark chocolate, with caramel, berries and much more. Indoor and outdoor seating options also available. The ambiance was familiar and tons of people with morning munchies.
I've never been to the Fountain Square location, so this was my very first Bovaconti experience across the board and it did not disappoint. This place is very modern and trendy -- super cute. It's in a busy part of downtown Carmel, but I still found street parking pretty easily (and it was free!). The space itself is a nice size, with a long communal high-top table that stretches through the middle of the room. There's also a mix of booth and table seating along the wall. In the back, they have a little speakeasy-style room that I thought was really neat. I didn't get a photo, but it looked like it might've been a bank vault at one point. It was super dark in there, so definitely a cozy little nook for an evening hangout. I ordered a chai tea latte, and it was pretty good! I probably should've added a syrup, but even without it, it was still solid. Noted for next time!
This is a nice coffee shop in the arts district of Carmel. I had been wanting to stop by and was able to on a week day without a huge line or crowd. I got the Spanish latte which is perfectly balanced. They had some interesting matchas drinks which I might try next time as well as many pasty options. The interior is beautiful and well styled. Bovaconti in the Carmel Arts & Design District is one of those places that just gets the atmosphere right. The coffee is great, the vibe is fantastic, and the outdoor seating is especially gorgeous when the weather is nice. It is an easy place to enjoy whether I am working for a while or meeting friends to hang out, and that flexibility is a big part of the appeal. Carmel is better for having spots like this. Staff are always chill as well, maybe not the most chatty, but it's almost always busy - they're working hard! read more

If you are looking to impress a friend or date with a unique coffee destination look no further than Bovaconti Coffee in Carmel! Just make sure to get there before your proposed meeting time because the line is often literally out the door. This was the case when I arrived thankfully I'm chronically early. It just so happened to be their birthday celebration when I visited, so Bovaconti was giving out free pastries that day. I chose a croissant which was fluffy, flakey and buttery as all croissants should be. I ordered the $5 SPANISH LATTE consisting of Espresso, Sweet Condensed Milk, Cinnamon & Steamed Milk. So good! My friend had the $6 MAYAN MOCHA made with Dark Chocolate, Honey, Cinnamon, & Cayenne. Also well received. The gorgeous building appears to be an old bank with the original vault converted into a smaller room with eclectic decor. I recommend going on a weekday. read more

A renovated old bank building turned coffee cafe- what could be cooler? The ambiance is light, lovely and cleans pretty pastel color scheme makes the space feel open. Servers are friendly and helpful. I got the delicious and refreshing watermelon mint shakeup. My son got the iced Spanish latte and the cardamom roll. Both he said were delicious. My youngest got the in-house made chicken sandwich. He said, "eh it could be better." He's nine lol. Overall really cool place, we will surely be back to try more z read more

Greeted as soon as I entered! On such a hot day and after having walked the Monan Trail, the air conditioning felt wonderful! I ordered a bottled Crossroads Kombucha which I noticed on the labeling was made locally in Franklin, Indiana.The one I chose is made with Blackberries and English Mint. I love buying items made in state and will be certain to look up this companies website as well! I will definitely be back to try their Honey Lavender Latte. What I found was a classy, welcoming environment when I could sit and read. It wasn't too noisy and I felt happy to just sit alone at this cafe. If it's a nice day then enjoy their outdoor patio! read more

GREAT NEW location for an additional Bovaconti in Carmel! It is absolutely gorgeous inside and they have a great patio. The drinks are just as good as the ones at their other location. Very crowded in the morning but was still able to get a table. read more

Might be the most gorgeous coffee shop I've ever visited. I was in Carmel when a friend invited me to join her on a walk here, and I'm so glad she did. The space feels like a slice of Europe with every detail and design choice being thoughtfully done. I shockingly wasn't in the mood for more coffee that day, but I enjoyed a fabulous peppermint tea that tasted fresh and possibly locally sourced. I also really appreciated the local artist watercolor designed to go cups! We sat outside on the beautiful patio, shaded by umbrellas and surrounded by the soft sound of a water fountain, truly the perfect setting for conversation and calm. I sampled my friend's blueberry granola cookie and was genuinely impressed. I can't wait to come back and try the coffee/espresso next time. The service was relatively quick for a busy lunch hour mid-week. One especially charming touch to note is that the building used to be a bank, and they've kept the original vault door. The renovated vault now offers as a cozy nook, ideal for quiet work or date as it shifts to a more 1920's cocktail bar aesthetic. read more

At long last: welcome to Carmel, Bovaconti! We love to see downtown Indy businesses open up a second location in Hamilton County. Based on social media, this place has been hoppin' since it opened a few weeks ago. I visited on a Friday morning and by 7:45 a.m. the line was almost 10 people deep. Pros: - beautiful (and what I have to assume are delicious) pastries like croissants made in-house in the basement kitchen - an assortment of beverages and snacks in the refrigerated section - think Poppi, Alani, yogurt parfaits, pre-made salads, etc. Nice to know they have food options! - gorgeous interior - truly, you feel transported with the color scheme and vibes. And, that bank vault! - a nice mix of coffee and non-coffee options. Cons: - While a decent size space, there ultimately isn't a ton of seating - nor is there an outdoor space. I don't think I'd come here banking on getting a table to work or meet a friend. - I'm not a coffee drinker, so I judge a place by their chai latte. Unfortunately, my iced chai had very little chai flavor, and I felt like I was drinking milk for the first 80% of my sips. I'll opt for the iced tea options next time! - To my knowledge, there is no dedicated parking. There are a few spots in the back that look to be reserved for customers of other nearby businesses. Luckily, Carmel has free street and garage parking, but be prepared to park and walk to Bova. read more

Cute new location for those up north....and you can even sit in the former bank vault! We stopped here for an afternoon pick me ip and it hit the spot. They have a selection of coffees, lattes and teas so something for everyone. We took ours to go but would love to sit down and stay next time. read more

We loved our experience at Bovaconti! The coffee bar was delicious and they have a great variety of drinks, without overcomplicating the menu. We loved the pastry item we chose, the Cardamom Bun. It was served hot, and had a great flavor! The back seating area was a great area to chat. It'd be perfect for a large group, but was a little awkward with other people as it's pretty close quarters. However, they do offer indoor seating as well as a patio, so there are plenty of spots to choose from! Our drinks were made quickly and made for a fun Saturday morning! read more
Bovaconti is my favorite coffee shop in Carmel, IN! We live nearby so my husband and I love walking here and grabbing an "Iced Pistachio Matcha" and enjoying the patio with our dog. The baristas are always welcoming and good at making suggestions if you don't know what to get. Make sure to check out the patio while the weather is warm, it's nice! read more
I have been patiently waiting for bovacanti to open here in Carmel. I'm so excited it finally has!! Their grand opening was busy. I was actually shocked to see the line wrapped around the store around 9am. The line went fast though! I was so impressed, especially for a grand opening. We got the Spanish latte and the bronze latte. They were delicious and well priced. The almond croissant was amazing!!! There's so much seating inside, which is a great add. There's a bit of a sun glare on the majority of seats early in the morning, fyi. It's beautiful inside. I can't wait to spend more time here! read more

Somehow waltzed in to an unexpected soft opening on another one of these cold days. The interior of the restaurant looks completely transformed from its days as office space. The old bank vault area is redone as a dimly lit private space, with the bank vault door still attached. They've got a stacked section of pastries and other goods, the cappuccino I had was excellent, and a lot of seating. The patio area that they have isn't quite built out yet, but I'm sure they'll have something impressive once it warms up. Welcome to Carmel, Bovaconti. read more

I popped in here one morning around 9:30am and it was already pretty busy. However, after waiting in line I was able to snag a table for my husband and I. The ambiance here is very nice with a cool mix of modern and retro. Service was friendly and my latte was quite tasty, though it could have been warmer. The space was clean and seemed well managed and I was good for working. I look forward to returning. read more

I love Bovaconti and was so excited when they opened a Carmel location. I got the Spanish latte and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I also got a cinnamon roll croissant that was delicious! My mom got the mocha and it was slightly sweet and chocolatey. There were lots of spots to sit inside the shop, but it was packed and every table was taken. They have a little speakeasy room that is dark and has booths to sit in and a cute picture wall. read more
Anyone who knows me, has a hint that I love this place. I frequent the one in Fountain Square but they have a second location in Carmel as well. Located in the Carmel Arts District right on the corner of West Main street. I didnt recognize it initially as I remember that a bank was located their previously. Entering in its equally as quaint as the Fountain square location but with one heck of an added bonus. They turned the bank vault into a sitting area. Oh my goodness I wasnt expecting it. I had to come and grab my Earl Grey tea made with oat milk. The richness of this tea. I have no words. The customer service was wonderful. They were all so friendly and welcoming. I took a peek at the pastry case and they had a pistachio crossiant sign but none left. I figure im gonna need to try one sometime soon. It dosent matter which location you visit, you are gonna leave with a wonderfully crafted beverage that stays hot seemingly forever. On my next visit I will have to try out other menu items. Absolutely LOVE Bovaconti! Definitely a crazy popular spot. I fell in love at the Fountain Square location, but love visiting the Carmel location as well. I'd recommend visiting on a weekday, because the line is usually out the door on the weekends! Absolutely love the vibe of this location. There's seating inside and a patio that's super nice in the summer as well. Love the coffee and the pastries! Definitely recommend the Almond Croissant. read more

This place is FABULOUS! The interior is super cute with tons of seating. I went late afternoon on Wednesday and was still able to find a seat. On a nice day you can go enjoy one of the tables outside. The iced Spanish Latte was perfection and the Nutella croissant was INCREDIBLE! The barista was just the sweetest. I ended up working on the vault. It's super dark when you first walk in but once your eyes adjust it's quite cozy. It also cuts the sound so it's super easy to focus in and work. I will definitely be back! read more
