Black Coffee and Breakfast Bagel with Egg and Bacon.
Katherine A.

I love that Java House is a locally originated franchise. The shops are lovely, upscale and set up for remote working or socializing. This Java House is conveniently located just a few steps from the Monon Trail and nearby Arts District of Carmel. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor patio seating. You can have your dog on the patio. The service is welcoming and friendly. Orders were prepared quickly, early in the morning. The coffee is cold brewed and good. This morning, I also picked up a bacon and egg bagel to have with my coffee. The breakfast sandwiches are pre-prepared and heated. The sandwich was a disappointment, not horrible, just not as good as the coffee. There is a parking garage next door.

Since I don't live in the Indianapolis metro, I don't stop by here as much as I'd like, but they continue to impress. Nice staff, even with a busy Sunday morning, they were able to get my drink to me in just a few minutes. I had one of the seasonal flavors, the Neapolitan, which was good as expected Along with some seating inside, this location is near an outdoor common area and the Monon, so on a nice day, I would probably grab the coffee to go. I've yet to be disappointed with any of their locations, and highly recommend their coffee.

This was my first time visiting one of the Java Hiuse chain in Indy. I found the cappuccino to be just ok but I loved the vibe. It seemed like a great location to chill, do some work, meet friends. I also loved that they backup your a parking garage and you can enter the store directly from the parking. Very convenient.

Pumpkin Spiced Latte and Sweater Weather

We had the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Sweater Weather. Both were good. Staff was really nice and the place is nice.

Very cute coffee spot conveniently located right in the middle of Midtown Carmel. The menu had a ton of unique options and they also had lots of options to customize your drink as well. The staff was very pleasant and the drinks came out fairly quickly. The interior is industrial chic and has table and chairs, but not the biggest place or the most places to sit, so on a busy day it's more of a grab and go. Snack options and some pastries in the case. We had the little ones with us and everyone smiled and waved at them. Nice spot for coffee.

The uniqueness of a location in midtown Carmel is the people, pets and place itself. Java house is located right in the center point of Midtown Carmel which makes it incredibly accessible. Super amazing customer service where they whipped up my favorite summer special in Fall special time. I really appreciated that! Clean, chic and brimming with customers throughout nevertheless fast service. Stop by at Java after brunch or just quench your thirst with ice cold coffees after a walk on Monon - take your pic. Either ways you have nothing to loose :)

Cold brew with chocolate and cinnamon and a green tea
Mary H.

Quick and friendly service. My chocolate cinnamon cold brew was delicious. My daughter enjoyed her green tea as well. It was weird that there weren't any napkins inside nor a trash can in the outside area. I bought a bottled vanilla latte to take home for the next day. It was just okay.

Mango Palmer (left) and Watermelon cucumber mint lemonade (right)!

Java House was such a wonderful establishment! We were able to get in and out of there so so fast! The staff was so friendly and the service was incredibly efficient! The watermelon cucumber mint lemonade was delicious, refreshing, and the perfect summer beverage! And the classic Mango Palmer was a perfect, classic beverage as well!

Coffee is always our first stop before walking the monon. Java has a laidback, relaxed vibe and the baristas are always extremely helpful in describing their new menu items and making suggestions... My friend selected a lemon drink, took their recommendation of adding cold foam and wow! It tasted like lemon meringue pie(without the crust)! Next time I'm in the mood for dessert, this will be my beverage selection; it was delicious!

Pumpkin spice latte
Mary Z.

Really loved my pumpkin spice latte from Java House and it's in such a central location in Carmel! The service was great, and I thought their cold brew only drink offerings was a unique touch that makes them standout from other coffee shops. Loved the trendy and modern interior as well!

Overall, the atmosphere and location is phenomenal. Great ambience in the place and they have a lot of great selections in this place is always busy, but doesn't take too long to get a drink. Feels like a bar only though for coffee but only reason for four stars is I usually just get her either cup of coffee and five bucks for a large seems like a lot.

Hello you had me at cold brew. I walked in and ordered two, to start with then came back and got a hot. All were very yummy and almost zero acidity which makes it very nice. The service was very friendly and took great care of me and my coffee needs. The location is also very cool and easy to get in and out of. I found this place very clean. I would come back.

Khaoula C.

Location is clean and spacious, I tried the "Honey Baby" latte! And honey let me tell you! It is the perfect balance between honey and cinnamon. The cinnamon was subtle and the honey was the main character in this drink! Highly recommend! * does not come with whip I added* Slowly drinking my way through all of their special lattes! I used the drive through, service was quick and friendly!

And as of this week, they're offering reusable clay to-go cups starting at just $3 in several sizes. I'll be honest, I fully expected these to cost more! They're not only adorable and reusable, but also a more sustainable option -- and with 50% off your drink after purchasing one this week, it's basically a win-win! After this week, you can continue bringing your cup back for additional points/bonuses through the coffee shop, making this little $3 cup even more of a steal. Indie is easily one of my favorites -- from the drinks to the staff to the spaces. You truly can't go wrong with either location!

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

Host promptly took us to a table on the east/right side of the dining space that consisted of a booth along the wall-side and chairs on the interior. There is a menu and other info on the west/barside wall, murals and windows on the north and south side walls, but the east wall I faced was plain and had nothing to look at, so mildly annoying for when my wife left the table. Acoustics were OK, although it was noticeably louder at then end of our meal when it had filled up. Our server was good. She was prompt in tending to us and very pleasant. The food took a bit from order to table, although that seemed to be true for several of our neighboring tables that arrived before us as well. For those partaking of their self-serve refillable coffee, it probably provides an opportunity to enjoy the beverage. Menu as a European Bistro is quite different compared to many other brunch options in the area. My wife selected the Vegano Bowl ($15.95) and substituted Roasted Potatoes ($2) for the standard mixed greens. She liked the bowl, although she prefers the options at Flower Child and Garden Table. She didn't love her potatoes. I ordered the Del Piero Toast ($13.95) and also substituted the mixed greens for the potatoes, which I enjoyed. Only thing I didn't really care for was the cutting board it was served on as it was not as user-friendly to eat from as I would have liked. However, I would order the toast again, although I am interested to investigate other menu options first.
