I'm definitely a coffee drinker, so I'll have to come back and try their black drip coffee, which is what I usually get at a coffee shop when I'm getting coffee. Monon Coffee Company is a cozy place, with board games to play, and lots of places to sit. There is also seating outside on the sidewalk outside. It was a bit hard to find and is tucked away, so keep your eyes peeled when trying to find it and find parking. Another thing to note, there isn't too much free parking near it. If you're looking for free parking, the closest might be to park at the McDonald's and walk. When you get to the quaint little coffee shop, it gives the small town feel of a common local place for regulars to go back to, work at, or visit with friends. I particularly liked the organized menu and the friendly workers. I also liked that it wasn't super busy so I didn't feel rushed into making any decisions. I tried their Pumpkin Head Zombie which was described to me as a white mocha with pumpkin syrup and spice and a little less coffee taste, which had me excited. Although, I barely got any coffee taste at all, which was a bit of a bummer. Still good though and I drank it all. My friend got a strawberry matcha and said she enjoyed it. There was a quiet back room with more seating which allowed us to talk more freely so as to not disturb the people working in the main area. They also had some cute and some artistic halloween decorations up for the season which was fun. Overall, I would go back to try another drink and might recommend it to friends. It was reasonably priced for a coffee nowadays. It was a nice, clean spot that keeps you in Broad Ripple but away from the busy main strip. The workers are helpful and patient, which made us more comfortable. Their seasonal flavors also seemed right on theme for fall, which always makes my heart happy. I had my three year old with me so we ordered the blackberry brown sugar latte and a kids hot chocolate. She picked out a blueberry muffin and I had a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. That muffin? Excellent. I was honestly a little jealous I couldn't steal it from her. My sandwich was great, exactly what you'd expect from the name. I really enjoyed the latte! It's not a flavor I'd normally go for and almost went for the cookie butter latte but I'm glad I tried something new. As for the hot chocolate--I've never seen my child finish a hot chocolate. Ever. She inhaled it. The shop itself was way bigger than I expected. Super welcoming and open with plenty of space and seating. It was pretty crowded but there was also still plenty of seating. We ended up sitting close to the register (I let my daughter choose where we sat) and the people behind the register were on top of it. One person overheard me tell my daughter I needed to go ask for a to go box and they grabbed one without me having to even get up. They were very kind and attentive! The little cafe is upscale and comfortable with eight tables inside. The ad said that the pastries are made fresh daily in store. The coffee is sourced from small batch farms. We ordered at the counter. Drinks and food came out quick. The coffee and pastry shop is still training employees and working out kinks. The staff was engaging and super friendly during our visit. The cafe is their second location, with the flagship cafe in Lafayette. I've been on a matcha kick lately. I like the earthy flavor. I was happy to learn I could order a unsweetened matcha latte. My husband ventured to try the mango matcha - his first matcha bev. We also split a Spanish Feta Croissant, that the clerk warmed for us. The croissant was flaky and good. Mochaland is working with local farms to run a pilot for locally sourced products in the shop from this September through January 2027. Details are available on their web site. There's plenty of parking in the shared lot.

Once I got up to the pick up window, things went faster but I think I should have just gone in and it would have actually been faster than the drive thru. The coffee was ok. I ordered a seasonal bonfire cold brew and it was way too sweet for my liking. I also didn't really care for the taste of the cold brew unfortunately. And since the menu didn't have descriptions of what was in things, I basically guessed this would taste like a s'more and was correct. It was just too much for me and I only ended up drinking half of it.
