A must have dish in summer time!!!! Don't remember how many time back here! Always wonderful experience!

    Mala beef

Definitely recommend! A great-value skewer restaurant! The food is delicious! Got to try 10 different dishes for just $100.

"Hot & numbing" (not really though) beef pot

Dined in an hour or so before closing. My eating buddy and I were the only ones in there initially. 2 more groups came after us, and 1 more tried to get seated 10 mins before closing...but the server said "We are closed" very bluntly with no sorry or anything and rushed them out, which I thought was kinda rude, he could have been a little nicer. Our service was just ok, he did past my table a few times and didn't refill my water when it was clearly empty. Anyway, this is a small establishment with a few booths on both sides and few tables in the middle. The open kitchen is in the back of the restaurant. The menu is basically Chinese food with the main thing being kabobs. Here's what we ordered and the ratings accordingly: Kabobs: I'm pretty sure they use the same seasoning/sauce on all of the kabobs by the way. - Fish cake 7/10. - Shrimp: 7/10. - Beef tendon ball 6/10. Kinda dry. - Squid tentacles 7/10. The only one that didn't come on a skewer, it did come with scissors so we can cut it up though. - Mushroom wrapped with pork belly: 10/10. This was the best kabob in my opinion. They use enoki, which are one of my favorite mushrooms and it paired well with the pork belly. - Chicken heart (I don't eat these, eating buddy got it...so can't rate) Other dishes: - Hot & numbing beef spicy pot: 4/10. Despite the name, unfortunately it was not spicy or numbing at all. The star of the dish, the beef, was just very lacking. I took it home and had to add more flavor and seasoning to make it taste good. However, I did enjoy the lotus root and potatoes in it. - Steamed pork buns: 6/10. Overall rating: This place was alright, 3/5 stars. I wouldn't get anything other then kabobs next time, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again to be honest. All the kabobs were just average to me.

Guys.. definitely check this place out.. Great food.. but the service just OK. They serve lot of choice meat for skewer.. my favorite is lamb, squid, tendon and beef. And i did try they pancake and stirfry noodles which are delicious as well.. If you like to see my other review follow my IG: makknyozz (Makknyozz | food hunter)

    Lamb and beef kabobs, respectively.

The food here was cheap with a good variety of choices. Truth be told, I wouldn't really wander into this place had it not been for the bf and his friends' rec. I see the word kabob in the name and I think of something like a weird fusion of Indian/Mediterranean and something not so pleasant. (I'm just weird) Surprisingly, this place was pretty packed as people came and left around 9 PM on a Friday. If you're somewhat hungry or starving, the amount and choices will satisfy you. Some of the kabob skewers were only $1 so you're getting a bargain snack. They also have noodle soups, hot pots, and other meat and seafood choices.

Great food ! Service could be better. Very hard to communicate with the server when you're not Chinese. But we managed. This was my first time so I definitely needed recommendations and he kinda helped. He recommended the lamb kabob. That was one of my top favs so that was a win. The only complaint is that there was soo little meat with each order and the wings were only 2 for 2.50!? However the overall check does make me smile. Not bad since they around $1-$7 each What you should try: Lamb kabob - tasty !! Beef New Orleans wings - seasoned well. Very good but only 2 wings per order Squid - kinda spicy big Sweet sausage - 3 ps sausage link. Very good. Don't try : Shrimp kabob. - only 2 dried up sticky shrimp. I feel like you have to eat the shells with this one. Not for me. Overall will return to try some hot pot or soup options with my skewers

First-time visit to Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth -- and wow, the food was impressive…read more We had an early 5:15 p.m. reservation through Resy and received clear confirmation and reminder communications from the restaurant. Parking was a challenge due to Valentine's Day and the sheer number of people dining out. That said, parking is often tight in Duluth because of the many restaurants, so it's wise to allow extra time. My wife and I were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival, and our server quickly came over to take our drink orders. I have to mention our server, Maddie, who was one of the most pleasant and personable people we've encountered in a long time while dining out. She was a textbook example of what makes for a great dining experience. At that point, I learned the restaurant was offering a prix fixe Valentine's Day menu, which hadn't been communicated beforehand. While not unusual for the holiday, it did catch me by surprise. Maddie handled the situation professionally when I asked to speak with a manager, and Leon came over quickly. After I explained, they were able to accommodate us by offering the items à la carte, which worked out well since we chose to skip one course and dessert. As for the food -- it was outstanding. My wife had the beet salad and said it was the best she's ever had. I ordered the wedge salad, which was very good. She chose the shrimp appetizer, while I had the stuffed mushrooms; both were excellent. We each ordered the 6-oz filet, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and green beans complemented the steak nicely, and I especially enjoyed the house-made steak sauce, which paired very well with the filet. I also had the opportunity to speak with executive chef and owner George Yu, who was engaging and shared that they cook exclusively over open flames using well seasoned cherry and oak wood from a single supplier. I was even able to thank the chef who prepared our steaks in the wood-fired kitchen. Overall, it was a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth, GA.

Service was good, probably because my husband told them I was an elite yelper but also was early on a Saturday night and had only a few tables. They made my custom drink order well. Listened to instructions. Started with a dozen oysters, recommended by the waitress, they were ok. They small and not really flavorful. They had the typical cocktail sauce and horseradish but needed hot sauce. Served also with goldfish crackers, I get the pun but a little tacky for a fine dining establishment. We also had the shrimp with the gochijong sauce. The shrimp were nice size but again lack luster. Where's the seasoning? The gochijong sauce was sparse and was watery. Also the shrimp needed salt. We ordered the surf and turf which was good size. The steak was a little under, ordered it med rare. It was also very thin. The steak was seasoned with corse sea salt at the end. Well that produced some very salty pieces and some under seasoned pieces. Salting before cooking would have helped that and garnish with the course salt. The lobster was small but tasty. Slightly under cooked. The Kim chee fried rice was good but not enough although there were some over ripe Kim chee pieces. The star of the meal was the cheese corn. Delish! Sweet, savory and creamy. Cooked perfectly with enough crunch of the corn to offset the creaminess. It was an anniversary and was offered 3 cake choices and ordered the cheesecake. Non of the cakes are made in house, we asked. The cheesecake was creamy but had a huge crust so the ratio of the cheese mixture to the crust was off balance. BTW a very small slice. All in all I would say we won't be back. Too many other good restaurants nearby.

And unlike a lot of places I have zero worry from Mitch's about the meats and fish being anything but top notch and super fresh. Plus - by ordering ahead Mitch always has what I want - butchered the way I want it. Lots of the businesses I support have "rules" I don't love (like breakfast starting at 8 am vs its real starting time of 6 am) :). But I just work around 'em. One of the great things about owning your own business is you get to figure out how to run it your own way. Mitch definitely has a way of running his -- but I'm a raving fan and I love being able to order ahead and just run in and pick it up. Swim with the current! Go Mitch - we appreciate y'all!

And the rules can be a hassle if you are not planning ahead. It's all entirely true. BUT... Good lord is the meat good. The man knows his trade. His sourcing is top notch, and once you make it inside the store, he is attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about how to store, prepare, and cook every product he sells. I can only afford it every once in a while, but if I need an absolute slam-dunk for a special occasion, I always hit up Mitch. His manager lady (I'm sorry I don't recall your name!) is incredibly nice and helpful, making suggestions and giving tips. The business has its quirks, and if you don't like the rules or the prices, it's best you go somewhere else. (Would absolutely return, but my jeans may never forgive me)…read moreThrill Korean Steak and BBQ - Buford, GA First impressions: We walked into Thrill expecting the usual KBBQ chaos -- screaming tabletop grills, flying lettuce, and that one friend who overcooks everything into charcoal briquettes. Instead we got... vibes? Like, actual nice vibes. The place is sleek, modern, and somehow smells like victory and garlic at the same time. Dangerous combination. Service: 10/10, no notes. We never had to wave anyone down for more banchan, which in KBBQ is basically a miracle on par with parting the Red Sea. Food: Oh honey. * Banchan game: Strong. The kimchi was doing backflips on my tongue, the potato salad was creamy crack, the fried rice cakes were so addictive I considered hiding them in my purse. * Meat quality: Top tier. The pork jowl (samgyeopsal) was so fatty and glorious I briefly considered proposing to it. The "Thrill Prime Ribeye" lives up to the hype -- marbled like a Renaissance painting and basically melts. We also tried the garlic soy marinated galbi and I'm still thinking about it during meetings. Rude. * One tiny gripe: The spicy pork bulgogi could've used another punch of heat. My husband (who thinks black pepper is "wild") loved it, but I wanted it to slap me a little harder. Value: Very solid for the quality. $50ish per person all-you-can-eat and we waddled out feeling like we robbed the place. Pro tip: Pace yourself or you'll hit the meat coma wall around round three and start making bad life choices (see: ordering dessert). Atmosphere: Clean, bright, great ventilation (my hair did not smell like a campfire, which is a first in the history of Korean BBQ). They've got K-pop or the tv playing but not at migraine volume, so you can actually hear your dining companions confess their sins between bites. Verdict: Thrill is dangerously good. Buford finally has a KBBQ spot that can hang with the Atlanta heavyweights, and it's somehow less than 10 minutes from the Mall of Georgia (perfect for post-shopping regret eating). Bring stretchy pants, an empty stomach, and friends who won't judge you when you hit the order your 4 round of meats or drinks. We're already plotting our return. My waistline is filing a formal complaint, but I'm ignoring it.
