I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy! I reviewed the weekly specials online and requested two items off from the sales paper - 5 lbs of ground chuck and 5lbs of chicken wings. Although busy and slightly chaotic the line moved fast. They wrapped all 5 lbs together, I shied away for asking for it split - but I felt like I could if it wasn't so busy. Check out is in the back - easy enough. The quality was excellent- as expected! I only want to get meat from here now. Very nice experience and product. read more

My sister raves about Pattons. After opening a pack of rancid ground beef from Kroger, I had enough. Bought pound of ground chuck from Pattons - HUGE difference. Stomach didn't get upset, didn't feel stuffed, and for about the same price. Pattons is my new go-to for all meat and seafood. The store is clean and customer service actually exists! read more

Quality meats, knowledgeable staff and a small-town feeling makes this your go-to spot for planning the perfect dinner.

Been there many times, mostly for hanger steak, my fav cut, although I had a Picanha steak at my bro in laws restaurant and it was sensational. My bro-in-law said they started serving pincanha, moving away from hanger or flank, and found them more reasonably price and more flavorful. He ain't wrong. I'm wonder if Patton's has Picanha! read more

For Valentines Day this year I wanted to cook a steak at home. We got a bone in ribeye for a fraction of the cost from what you'd see at a restaurant and was a great cut! They have so many other items in the store like spices, butters, etc. Definitely worth checking out! read more

I love Patton's. They carry all the meats you can think of and more. They are always so friendly and helpful. We signed up for their email newsletter and they have specials each week. We have gotten various types of meat and seafood and everything is fresh and delicious. The pricing is pretty reasonable as well. They also have local vegetables and rubs. I love that they sell local goods as well. read more

Absolutely the best butcher shop in the area, if not the entire region. Patton's has real butchers who are trained to trim and prepare meats as you need them. We had an amazing bone in rib roast for Christmas that was perfectly trimmed and tied. Ground beef is the best anywhere. The weekly sale prices are incredible for the quality. Chicken is from local farmers and not pumped full of hormones. They usually have a wonderful selection of seafood and fish as well. We live 25 minutes away but drive to Patton's once or twice a month for all of our meat and seafood (we vacuum seal and freeze the haul). So worth it. Nice people , too, and very knowledgeable. read more

The steak selection is outstanding. If you want to get something that is a better quality than your local grocery store, this is where to go. Just be prepared to have a little sticker shock! We enjoyed our meal very much. Still cheaper than going out and getting the same steaks at a higher end restaurant. read more

I drove 15 miles on a Thursday afternoon specifically to go to this market. I have been a few times and never had an issue. I was the only customer there, and was told by someone they would be right with me. Then they proceeded to do paperwork and ignore me. There were at least 8 other people, including who I assume was a manager/owner as he did not have on a black t-shirt, and they all ignored me. After 5 minutes, the person doing paperwork picked up his calculator and walked away. And then I walked away. At that point, they have shown me how much they value me, and I listened, and I took my money elsewhere. I will give it 2 stars, as when I was able to get service in the past, the quality was usually good. read more

Great place for good Always good. A little pricey . The quality is there Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx read more

Simply put, there is no better place for meat in Atlanta than Patton's. Are they cheap? No, but do you want to eat cheap meat? If you want cheap meat go to Kroger; let me know how that works out. When I want to eat a steak at home or serve a Beef Wellington, Patton's is the only place I will shop. And the customer service is out of this world. We had unexpected guest show up from out of town, so I called Parker and asked if he had a Crown Roast of Pork? Normally this would require at LEAST three days notice anywhere else. Patton's? I pick one up TWO HOURS after I called. Get the fuck out'a here! Do yourself a favor and come here. Don't look at the prices; just pick out what you want, hand them your plastic and take it like a man. Trust me, it's worth every penny. read more

Patton's Meat Market - Crown Roast of Pork from Patton's. They trimmed this for us on only two hours notice! - Meat Shops Near Me - Duluth, Georgia

If you're looking for a specific cut and want that personalized experience, Patton's Meat Market is probably where you're going to get that. The only downside is that since this is a small business, you're probably going to be paying more for what you could at other places. But, for when you're looking for a very specialized cut this is probably the place that you can definitely get it. I came here to buy a bone in rib roast. I had the option of prime, or choice, and going choice was what I went with and still spent about $200 for a 3 bone roast! I believe the prime was even pricier at $39-40 a pound and for a 10 pound roast, yeah you can imagine it can get pricey. However, if you're coming here for other pieces of meats, but want a special cut or have it cut in a specific way, Patton's can definitely do that for you! The butchers are very nice and very talkative and is willing to accommodate for anything you need. I would say to come here if you're looking for something specific. If you're looking for a more personal experience, definitely would recommend you to come here or if you want to have more control over the meats that you buy. You're going to be paying more, but if price or money is not an issue I would definitely recommend Patton's! read more

Patton's Meat Market - Hoop cheese, crab cakes, ox tails - Meat Shops Near Me - Duluth, Georgia

This place isn't very big inside so it's pretty much a one way street going through. But they have packed it tight with stuff. The staff are super helpful & friendly. One gentleman helped us pick out steak while we stared around with our mouths open. They also have produce, pickles, sauces, cheese, cured meats, and more. We live out in Sandy springs so it was a trek to come here but worth it. They have a mailing list where they tell you about the specials of the week too. Bacon was only $6-7/lbs today & they had tomahawks but those were a little too pricey for us at $19.99/lbs & one weighed around 3 lbs. So we got a piece of bone in ribeye & a porterhouse steak for a couple dinners this week. It's in a shopping center beside a gas station and the other stores look a bit dilapidated in comparison but Patton's looks renovated outside. Lots of people came through too so you know it's a hot spot! read more

Such a fantastic meat market. Small, but mighty! There is a queue to get to the counter, but tons of folks to help with your order. The line moved quickly and the staff was so friendly and helpful. There are a ton of seasonings, sauces, and some produce to purchase, too. Once you are finished with your selections, you proceed to the back(or side?) to pay. Then there is a dedicated exit door right next to the registers. We have been twice in a 8 days and cannot wait to go back. We typically like to eat plant-based as much as we can, but Patton's definitely makes this difficult. Please support Patton's - the quality, value, and service cannot be beat!! read more

Excellent selection of steaks/meat, great friendly service, clean and reasonably priced. My favorite place for steaks.

Wow. 5 out of 5 indeed. Walk in and know you are going to feel welcome, find quality cuts of meets, and be able to piece together whole meals with vegetables and marinades. One stop shop for a special dinner or great grill items. I wish they were closer to my home. I will be driving an hour ever month to stock up. read more

Worth the drive from college park to come here. Great customer service and selection in meats. $100 worth of meat can last over a month in my freezer for my family of 4. I take advantage of the 5lb deals they have. They also supply a nice selection of seasonings, rubs and marinades to try. I go a little after they open to beat the lines only wait is for fresh cuts which I definitely don't mind waiting on. I'm sure I pass plenty other meat markets on my way here but the A1 service I receive will keep me loyal and returning. Their current hours are 11-6 closed Sunday and Mondays. read more

Great cuts for a reasonable price. Ordered some Tomahawks for a party and was really surprised at how affordable they were. $24/lb for prime tomahawks is a steal deal. The quality was great and the taste was spectacular. Every gram of meat was completely devoured by our guests (even on the bone!) We'll be coming here from now on to get our steaks. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their meat. read more

Great service. Meats were fresh well displayed, good quality and reasonably priced. There was a wide variety and their professional staff to answer. Any questions you might have. read more

Great meat market but some newer employees are just not very knowledgeable about what all they have and can do. I am glad another employee overheard my conversation and offered to help get out US Prime Ribeye that was not on the front display fridge. They got a fresh Chuck of meat and cut it to the specification I provided. The meat was really fresh. At the counter at checkout they recommended the Patton's Steak Rub which I tried and the end result of the cooked steak tasted amazing. You get what you pay for for sure. read more

Best butcher I have ever come across. Quality and helpful friendly staff are the best.

Giving 5 stars on the staff so far. Excellent customer service and very friendly. Today was my first time shopping at this market so I haven't cooked any of the meat yet. They have every spice rub and BBQ sauce you could think of. I'll be writing a review on the meat in the next few days. read more

Absolutely delightful experience. They had exactly what I was looking for and then some. Friendly staff capable of making reasonable recommendations. I will definitely be back. read more

We've made a household decision to stop buying from Publix and Kroger if it's something Patton's have in stock. USDA Prime tenderloin from here is amazing along with the NY Strip. Steaks are perfect for just a dry brine in salt with nothing else needed. I usually make my own au poivre or bordelaise sauce from scratch, but I haven't since buying from Patton's. There's no need for it. For Thanksgiving we ordered a whole chicken fryer and made a French chicken in a pot. We're not buying chicken from any of the major supermarkets again either. It can be a traffic jam in the store on the weekends but you won't regret your purchase! read more

Absolutely amazing! Went for my first time here last week and my only disappointment is that I didn't go sooner. When you walk in to the market you are greeted by a surprisingly decent variety of fresh produce that looked and tasted very fresh! Moving into the store and seeing all the meats that they offer can be intimidating the first time. Luckily for me the team member that helped me was so detailed and walked me through all the proteins and top sellers. I ended up getting some boneless ribeyes, pork rib chops, brisket burgers and steak burgers. Every last protein I ended up getting was absolutely amazing! I was worried the boneless ribeye would not have enough flavor but it did not disappoint! I will definitely be returning to try other proteins such as the seafood, chicken, and sausages. read more

This is my go to place for when I want to make a fancier dinner at home! I always call beforehand to see if they have the Japanese A5 wagyu ribeye or the zambutan Colorado wagyu. Both are amazing and I get there from here, even though it's a little bit of a drive for me. The service is always amazing and everyone on the staff are kind and are very knowledgeable. read more

Best steaks I've ever had! Service is great and quality is amazing. Super clean when you walk in as well!

Heard from a neighbor about this local butcher shop. Bought a few things today, bacon, brisket burgers, pork chops and beef rib. The place had everything you could imagine for a weekend grill fest. Very clean, smelled good and everything looked very fresh. They also had some beef aging in a cabinet. I will definitely be back. May be my new favorite meat place! Made the burgers on my Kamado Joe. My kids went to town on the brisket burgers. read more

I'm not sure where to start.... I have been shopping at Patton's for 6+ years! They are a family and you can feel that connection when you walk in the store. Their offerings are AMAZING and the prices are OUTSTANDING! I call them my "Patton's Peeps" because they are "family". read more

I live in Athens where we do not have a meat market like Patton's. When I can I stop by and buy my meats. This is the best place to buy pork belly. It is skinless and comes in 4-5 pound sections. Perfect for my smoker and will feed a UGA tailgate. They introduced me to Brazilian picanha that was delicious. It is a more intense flavored sirloin type steak. Their ribeyes and strips are good and grill nicely. I also enjoyed their hot dogs. Better than any supermarket dogs including Nathan's and Hebrew National. Great staff will help you with your meat selection. read more

Always a good selection of great quality meat. Every time we shop here the service is fast friendly.

I'm a huge steak guy and to be honest I was skeptical about switching meat markets, But it was for the better :)) Got me two slabs of porterhouse and had them grill to perfection (just about rare) And boy was it wort it & Top quality indeed. I'd like to point out that the workers were on point, very knowledgeable and answered to all my questions promptly . You got your selfs a new client from now one . read more

I would give Patton's 100 stars if I could. I probably go at least once a week and sometimes more; so I am not sure what took this review so long. One of my favorite local businesses. Feels like how meat is supposed to be sold. Everything is good! Lovely produce, fresh seafood (small but adequate selection), prepared foods, and of course, lots of meat. We've had about everything at this point (save for some of the high end Wagyu they now carry) and its all super high quality. We purchase boneless/skinless chicken breast weekly and it's vastly superior to the standard grocery store variety. The hot dogs are seriously the best you'll ever have. Eating them today on the 4th (with some of their delicious brisket and steak burgers) is what prompted me to finally write this review. Also, can't write the review without mentioning the wonderful staff - Always smiling, always a cheerful greeting, everyone is always hustling. Always doing their best to please their customers. They make doing what is essentially a necessary errand something I look forward to. read more

These folks are great! I went in there with a very unusual request for a piece of meat to be butterflied and cut down the bone. They had never done this before so I showed them some pictures from my phone. Several of the guys who worked behind the counter gathered around to take a look, and one of them said he was willing to give it a try, and if it didn't turn out to my satisfaction, I wouldn't have to pay for it! They all gave the gentleman who was doing the cutting some input on how they thought he should cut it, and it turned out great! I ended up having them cut more of the meat and barbecued it later that evening. The quality of the meat was excellent and it was even more tender than the meat that I had in Japan that I was trying to duplicate! read more
