I am really happy that Just Tires was able to get me in for an oil change same day. To my surprise, they even had no wait when I arrived! They started working on my car right away, but I was extremely disappointed because despite there being no wait, it take them a full 2 hours to do the oil change. My understanding is that this is not the norm. I didn't anticipate waiting 2 hours and it really disrupted my day. Had something in the tire and had to stop for a repair or new tire. When we pulled in, there were no other customers. It took at least 5 minutes to talk to someone and then another 20 minutes after that for them to pull the car into a bay. To have one tire changed it was 1 hour and 45 minutes. Let's not even discuss that the tech didn't know enough about cars not to drive our car the emergency break on. Overall an appalling experience. read more

Exhibit A: Made appt two-weeks in advance for oil change. Went in at exactly my time. Dude said it would take 90 minutes. Returned 2 hours later and vehicle hadn't moved. Said it would take another 2 hours because they had other cars before me. Said, what about the appointment I made? Said, sorry I know it's confusing but we have other tickets in the order we have to finish before getting to your appt. Made zero sense. Exhibit B: We in days later on random Monday morning - when it's less busy. No appointment. Dude said sorry, it'll take about 3-4 hours cause we need to service all the appointment vehicles before we get to yours. LOL. Can't make this stuff up.... Basically if you aren't at the door the minute they open the shop - forget getting serviced. These guys make no sense even when they trying. I went through the USAA perks website to get a deal at this Just Tires location. I regret it. They are under new management since the last time I came in here. (Been coming here for 15 + years) and things have gone WAY downhill since these new people came in. First of all they talked me out of getting an oil change because they didn't have the time for me to get my tires done AND change the oil in under 2 hours. Then they let anyone park in the handicap stall, regardless of handicap status. It takes them two hours or better to change out for tires because they can't be bothered to lift your car for the first hour and 45 minutes of your time. My tires were pre-bought and paid for prior to me getting into the shop and even with an appointment my car was never lifted or even had the mileage collected After an hour and 45 minutes of waiting there and I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. When I called the customer service line, the person over the phone gave me a hard time for wanting them to ensure that their shop do better when I go in and finally get my tires put on I'm quoted that it will take over an hour to get it done. I got in at 10 and two hours later I was handed my keys back. That is unacceptable service for when you're trying to "do better". If you have hours to waste, feel free to go to this location but if your time like mine is precious and I have a lot to do in the hours I'm allotted during the day to get things done then I would strongly suggest going somewhere else until they fix their lack of employees's integrity problem. Only go here if you have no other choice. Had a flat tire late on a Sunday afternoon and they were the only place open. I'm from the San Fernando Valley, where you can just pay one of the tire shops to repair a flat for $20. I told them right away how lucky they were that I wasn't near one of those shops, because I could tell they were going to rip me off. They were far more interested in upselling me to 4 brand new tires (which I didn't need), then fixing the issue I had with the 1 tire. I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because the service time was ok and they were able to install the tires same day. Costco is a much a better place to buy tires. I ended up buying 2 new tires (so that they back of the car would be balanced). To top it all off, they ignored my request to simply give me back my old tires. Instead they destroyed them immediately by punching holes in them. This voided their warranty and forced me to throw them away, instead of having them replaced for free. The mechanic who did this offered me a discount on future tires to compensate, but I vowed never to buy from this company again. read more

i do not recommend getting any other services here other than tires, for the simple reason they are too busy. customer service is good, but they have bare minimum technicians, so they're moving at what felt like one car per hour. All available service slots fill by 9am every day. I waited 3 hours to find out they didn't have a necessary tool so I couldn't get my service there. Amazing Service ! This is the only place my husband and I trust for car repairs and tires. Unfortunate to see bad reviews , when management and the technicians are patient, hardworking , and informative. I think Todd (the man who claims they are thieves) just didn't eat or drink his coffee, and that's okay. Every location will have their rude customers who will try to get their money back, even if they didn't go to school for mechanical technicians. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. There was someone who hadn't made an appointment in front of me, fine. I check in, give my keys, and wait for to be told that they cannot do an oil change because my check engine light is on even though I know why it's on. Absolutely ridiculous. They took the non-appointment car within 20 minutes and it took them an hour to discover my car's check engine light was on and they were for some reason unable to perform an oil change for that reason. Go to AMERCIAS TIRE! Went to this Just Tires location to get one tire mounted to check fitment on my car, unfortunately it didn't fit so I took it home waiting for the correct part. Went to AMERCIAS TIRE when I got the correct part since Just Tires couldn't program the TPMS sensors anyway. AMERCIAS TIRE immediately noticed damage on the tire that was unsafe to drive on and gave me my options to replace it but Just Tire did not even mention the damaged tire, didn't inspect it, just let it go out the door for their customer to put on their car, have a blowout on the road and hurt themselves and/or others. America's tire caught it within 5 minutes of the tire being there and called immediately letting me know. When I brought it back to the guy at Just Tires asking if he noticed it, Robert's response was "I've never seen something like this before. We didn't see it. We didn't charge you for it, so there's nothing we can do" Regardless if he charged me or not, there was no apology or concern for the safety of their customer especially considering the damage was pretty noticeable. I didn't notice that this place existed until I was getting gas across the street and I figured it would be perfect to get it taken care of since I was just going to wait since not too many places were open. I'm glad that Just Tires is open on Sundays and they were very friendly and professional about helping me out. I was out the door in about 15-20 minutes or so and I was on my way. Worst place ever . I had an appointment for 4 new Goodyear tires. They took my car, I walked to a nearby cafe. Was told it would take 1.5-2hrs. 2 hrs later, no phone call. I walked back and I see my car with still old tires on. I was pissed. I asked the guy why my car was still sitting there and he said, "the manager didn't tell you we didn't have the tires?" And I asked to speak to manager. Manager refuse to own up on the lack of communication. I said "why didn't you tell me once you found out that you don't have it here?!" I could have taken the car and come back in the afternoon. The guy blames Goodyear delivery and Goodyear, refused to give me info to his manager, tells me to call corporate and Goodyear for compensation for my time. Took the day off and my morning wasted at Just Tires. I told the "manager", it all would have been okay if he called as soon as he knew that the tires weren't in stock.. it took me 2 hours and to walk back up to the business to find out! I call and Juan says come on in, we have time for you. It's about 5pm (I called to see how busy they are) I get in and Juan says about an hour n a half for the tire change, you got one person in front of you and only 2 techs working right now. So I leave and come back 1 hour and 20 min later. My car is still where I left it and no one has started working on it. So I ask what's up and now they have multiple cars in the bays and only 1 tech and the car getting an oil change wasn't even there when I rolled up 1.5 hours ago. So politely I talk to the guy at the front desk, he's super cool and realizes hat Juan sold me wolf tickets so he goes back there talks to his boy and they both start working on my car. I have been going to America's Tire for many many years, but, I decided to go to this place and I got me a brand new set of four tires. I'm not going to lie to you, this place matched the price of the tires I wanted from a different store, so I got the tires. The problem is the overall service experience is poor. There is only (one) person at the front desk helping out. There is only (one or two) technicians working on the cars. The place looks dead compared to America's Tire when over there everybody is like in Speedy Gonzales mode. These guys take FOR EVER. After they installed my new tires and gave the car back to me, the tires were all beat up and dirty looking. They applied some kind of white thing on them and the tires looked worse. At America's Tire every time I went there even for tire rotations, those fools made the wheels look brand new and shiny. One of the tires I got was defective and was going flat on me so I went back to get it replaced and guess what, they charged me for that even when I purchased warranty. And after I got the tire replaced all tires were still dirty and ugly looking and that white stuff they put on they never cared to remove it. Simple as that. The service you get here is simply many levels below other competitors. I am very disappointed. Just Tires charges you for every little thing and the other people don't. Always like posting a good review for an auto repair shop since it's so hard to find a good one. I just experienced great customer service at Just Tires on Foothill in Pasadena. Had one of my tires blowout and discovered that the spare in my trunk did not fit my car! It was late afternoon on a Sunday and was waiting for a tow. Just Tires said they'd wait for me past their normal 4 pm cut-off. By the time the tow truck came, I wouldn't be able to get to Just Tires until 4:45 pm! And, they were due to close at 5 pm. After another half hour, I then found out that they didn't have the tire I requested, and the only one they did have was more than double the price. Lost me as a customer. Over the years I've purchased a few sets of tires from this location and found them professional and fair. That was not my experience recently. I brought in a tire with a broken valve stem that needed to be replaced. A rubber snap-in valve stem (part TR413 at a retail cost of anywhere from twenty five cents to two dollars on Amazon). Replacing the valve stem and filling the tire with air took all of three minutes, no balancing, no need to put it on the vehicle, and no estimate was given. The invoice they gave me was $34.00. This place is HORRIBLE. First, I used their website to find the tires I wanted and place a reservation for service. The reservation said the tires were in stock. I received multiple emails from them over 48 hours confirming my reservation. When I showed up for the appointment, they said they had NO record of any reservation, and the tires that I had chosen online were NOT in stock. And the guy behind the counter said this happens ALL THE TIME. Ironically, as I was standing there trying to figure out what to do, someone came in for an oil change, which they had a reservation for, and the SAME THING happened to them. The guy helping her said they had NO record of anything. So this company is just using the website to get you into the store, and then try to get you to purchase because you had already made plans to be there. That's what happened to me. I desperately needed tires, and didn't have time to go somewhere else. So I got tires they had, which I didn't really want as they were more expensive (of course). First of all, I made an appointment online at 9AM. So, I arrived there at 9AM, but the staff told me that the tire I need is "NOT READY" (Not in stock). The staff told me that the tire will be ready (in stock) by 11AM, so I went there again at 11AM. The staff told me my tire replacement will be ready in 90min or so. However, it took over 150min or so for them to get my tire replaced. The staff suggested me that my car needs alignment adjusted, which will take another 30min or so. I asked for them to do that, but it took another 90min or so... When whole thing was finished, it was 3PM. 11AM to 3PM. I had to wait 4 hours. Not mentioning that my original appointment was 9AM. If you have a tesla stay away from this place took my car for a tire repair a couple minutes go by I look over and they had jacked my car up with a manual hand. Jack on its battery without the safety puck asked if this was their first Tesla they worked on and one of the crewmembers answered actually yes it is. Ask them why he didn't put it on the lift he said because it was just one tire repair. To Tony - the guy at the front desk who told me to get my tires fixed elsewhere. Got a oil change at Just Tires and went to go get my tires checked because the air was leaking in one of my tires - I typically get full synthetic oil on my car and I chose that type of oil change. I signed a paper which listed down the price breakdown of the services I was getting. About 45 mins after waiting, they came up to me and said that they ran out of full synthetic oil - something that I wish they have done sooner - and asked if they wanted me to put synthetic blend instead. I said fine, they mentioned that my car also had a nail in the tire which they will repair. I changed my mind about getting the synthetic blend, but they said that they found a full synthetic oil and asked what the price difference is. Came out to $40 more expensive than what I signed for. I asked why it's more expensive and where that charge came from and the guy at the counter said that it's for the flat repair. He said it very defensively and angrily said "You can get it done somewhere else if you'd like." Which I decided to. They could have explained it nicer, but I guess they don't have time for that. Don't come here if you are looking for price transparency or for people at the counter that will be patient in talking to their customers. read more

They didn't have enough employees to keep up with demand and I ended up waiting 2 hrs for my car, only for them to tell me that the filter cap needed to be replaced before doing any work on it. Btw, I went in there for a simple oil change. Hard to see me coming back here after this event. I work down the street so naturally when my car stuttered turning on of course I thought the battery. Went to this location to have it checked. It took 3 staffers to make it seem like they were working to check the battery. I would have rather known that equipment was broken and not doing the job right off the bat than waiting half an hour for all the guys to just chat by the my car and jiggle the cables to make it seem like they were doing something. Half an hour later get a paper only to go to another location. Honestly as I type I remember the same thing happened a couple years back for the same problem. This location really just doesn't do much. You only change a battery every few years so it's not hard to remember with this. If you're In the Alhambra area, go to the just tires there. When this location can't be honest and transparent what are you doing? Can't find honest decent working folks to just have good values with customer service. Please do not bring your car here! I came In January for a simple oil change and they completely destroyed my engine!!!! They told me it was going to be 30-40 minute wait. I waited for almost two hours, it wasn't a busy time of the day and there was about one car ahead of me that they we're already working on. Not too long after that day all the oil blew out of my engine on the freeway and it completely shut down on me. Come to find out whoever worked on my car that day put a double gasket on my engine instead of removing the old one which had apparently adhered to the engine and they just put a new one right on top with the oil filter (just being lazy). This incident completely melted the inside of the engine and my car sat here at the shop for almost 3 months with me having to call the manager every couple days and corporate for weeks to be able to have someone come out to take a look at the damage. They took responsibility for the damage they caused and paid me out but it wasn't much since I had an older car but now I have had to buy a new car and now have car payments during this crazy time of how expensive it is to be buying a new car. My original car ran perfectly and was in great condition until I took it here. Do not come here! I completely regret ever coming here!!! read more

I went to this establishment in a time of need it was the day of my Babyshower, and I had a skew in my rear tire. The gentleman at the counter JUAN was very helpful and was able to get me in and out, being very understanding of my day. On completion of their service, it was advised to me that my rear tires were in need to be changed. I explained how money was tight at the moment Juan was very easy to talk to and explained that there were options that may be affordable to me. I was very pleased with the customer service and went back a week later to purchase two new tires from here because I believe that when you receive professional customer service you stay going back and giving them your business. April 2019, I bought two brand new tires here. They installed tires manufactured in 2013. As soon as the car was ready, I checked the manufacture date on the tires and immediately told them the tires were six years old. They refused to refund my money because the tires were already installed. Best to avoid this shop, but if you do go, check the manufacture date of the tires because they have old inventory that they don't mind selling to you at brand new prices. Also, be skeptical about their free alignment check. They will turn the steering wheel off center and give you a printout saying you need an alignment because your front wheels are both pointing in the direction that they turned your steering wheel. Plenty of great tire shops to choose from, this is not one of them. read more

My time was limited and the previous repair shop I tried( Pep Boys) was log jammed with the weekend crowd so I decided to take a chance with this location and came here without an appointment on a Sunday ! I was in and out of this place in 15 minutes. I had a new tire mounted/balanced and had the pleasure of meeting the store manager, Yero Bakharyan, who personally greeted me and completed my check in and check out. Zero rating was not an option. For those of you looking for a reputable place to have your car worked on, I caution you to look else where. I normally don't take the time to review places I spend my money, however, I felt a public need to let you know of my experience at this Just Tires on Foothill in Pasadena. For many years I have been a loyal customer. I drive about 30,000 miles a year so I replace my tire every two to three years. I have brought my car here for an 85.00 oil change every 6,000 miles. My last 4 were confirmed on my last visit on 3/14/2021. Valvoline in Rosemead ran a special for 50% off oil change. I decided to take my car there since I was due and it was less than the 85.00 at Just Tires. As the technicians were finishing my car, they informed me that the skid plate was being held on with zip ties. I asked how many bolts were replaced with zip ties: They said all of them. This was news to me. I decided to stop in at my local Just Tire Store. I talked with the young man behind the counter. He recognized me since he asked if I was there for an oil change. During our conversation, he confirmed that my last 4 oil changes were done at the store. I asked him if there was ever a reason they would use zip ties to secure my skid plate and he said, "If I came in with zip ties, they would put zip ties back on." I asked why they did not tell me zip ties were being used. They had 4 chances to tell me that I needed to replace the bolts that they substituted zip for. The gist of the story is, they lost the bolts, or felt it would be faster to change my oil next time but cutting off the zip ties. The manager's solution was for me to go buy the bolts and they would put them on. Unfortunately for him, he was unable to realize that I will never let him, nor any other of his technician, touch my car. If you are considering using Just Tires on Foothill Blvd in Pasadena to service your car, I suggest you look else where. read more
