    Fast service

Love Chuy's tires still. I have been going for years here. Same owner different workers but still great service. Cash Only. Remember that. A patch is now $25.

The new tire they claimed to have replaced clearly the threading / balding can be seen

Extremely Unsafe, Dishonest, and Hostile -- Especially Toward Women I came here with a tire that wasn't flat -- just had a nail. I only wanted a patch. They claimed all 4 tires were bad, then admitted 1 was okay. I agreed to buy 3 used Bridgestones at $70 each. The price and brand were confirmed before they touched the car. When I went to pay, they tried charging $280 -- more than agreed. I checked the tires and realized one wasn't even replaced. It was a Continental, my original tire, visibly balding with thread exposed. I took a photo. When I pointed it out, things escalated. The owner told the worker to reinstall the tire with two nails they had just pulled. He said, "Ah, pues así te vamos a tratar," and the worker replied, "Sí, ponle ese." They had all 3 of my tires, but chose the most dangerous one on purpose. I begged them not to. I told them it was unsafe, a hazard -- they didn't care. I felt targeted, unsafe, and powerless. It felt personal -- like retaliation for calling them out. I was seconds from calling 911. Only when I started filming did they back off and put back one of my better tires. I paid for the 2 actually replaced and left shaken. I have videos and photos of proof of how they treated me. This place is unsafe and deeply unethical. Their behavior was aggressive, manipulative, and predatory. Go to Al's Auto Center at 590 N Lake Ave, Pasadena. They're honest, kind, and actually care about your safety. I later saw other reviews from women with similar experiences. This isn't one bad visit -- it's a pattern. Women especially -- stay far away.

Tire was fix super fast. I'm very happy.

Great service. Got my tire patch super fast by Johnny. Really kind and courteous. Will recommend to anyone looking for good service.

They fixed my flat for $20. A major tire retailer told me it's not fixable and wanted $275 for a new tire. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

You can't even see the excellent nail hole repair in the tires threading.

Ay chuys tire repair is the best tire repair shop in the world. They really do make durable repairs to the tires that keep you on the move. They delay a purchase for a new tire in these times where our cash is precious and dear. The team he has on site is professional, honest and extremely competent. They do their stuff in a timely manner that will Have you back on the road in 30 minutes or less. Chuy is my go to spot for an emergency tire situation I definitely recommend to all the people in and around Pasadena Glendale La Canada areas he will not disappoint.

Damage from removing the tires by the tech

Came in for a tire nail patch with my wheel and tire taken off from the car. It was returned patched. I was in a rush to get back to work. By the time I have a chance to check the tires, I notice damages EVERYWHERE! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR VALUE YOUR WHEELS. See pictures. Terrible and so careless

My kind of tire lot: lots of stock!

I was awakened to the value of used tires back in 2010 and have been using them ever since. The tires rarely have any mileage on them, most being swapped off the car as an upgrade at the purchase of a new car. The cost of the tire, mounting, and balance is usually half the cost of the cheapest new tire. Chuy's offer new and used tires, doesn't charge for mounting, and charges only $10 per tire to balance. The office team is wonderful, the tire techs are smiling, professional, and very fast. I highly recommend Chuy's for your tires!

stripped and seized hub bolt snapped on my wheel lug

Went to do a balance and allignment, first of all they only balanced my two front wheels didnt even do my back ones, the dude who was putting my wheel back on used his impact gun, realized he threaded it. took the lugs back off readjusted and was inspecting it to see what he had done. when i asked him if there was something wrong he had a moment of silence then said "nope". then proceeded to drill the lugs on a threaded hub bolt. Drove off cause according to him it was fine.. just to drive about 15 miles and my wheel started shaking.. Cost me about $516 to get my hub bolt replaced since they also had to remove my wheel bearing. Wish they were honest people. Such a simple job mistake costed me a lot of money.

Mounting aggressive tires on fresh wheels always makes you a little nervous -- especially with a setup like this -- but they handled everything with care and precision. No scratches, clean weights, and the balance is smooth at highway speeds. The alignment is spot on. Truck tracks straight, steering wheel is perfectly centered, and it drives tight without any wander. With Kings on the truck, alignment matters, and they clearly know what they're doing. Professional, detail-oriented, and no shortcuts. If you're running a dialed Tacoma setup and want it done right the first time, this is the place. Will definitely be back.

My only concern was the wheel balancing for all 4 wheels and the 4 wheel alignment. The free wheel balancing was okay, but the ride was a but bit rough, especially at high speeds. The 4 wheel alignment was also okay because I saw the tech person pull it out of the stall and parked the car. He did not do a test drive. My Bimmer drove okay, but it didn't track. So I wasn't confident that the wheel alignment was properly done. I recently remedied the concerns by having the 4 wheels rebalanced and had a 4 wheel precision alignment done at another shop. Now my Bimmer tracks and rides really smooth... For tires purchase, this place is great.. But for tire services, from my experience, I would recommend to go somewhere else...

So now 15 minutes in and still haven't written it up or asked for my keys. I'm here for a rotation and balance so I don't expect it to take long. I'm on lunch and can't really be here for over an hour. He told me they should be able to get me out by 115. If they can do that , I will be happy. Right now though, I'm not all that happy since it feels like they burned 15 minutes of my time. By 1245 they have called me and measured my tread depth. This is little peeve of mine and it reminds me of a bigger one. No longer am I given the piece of paper that tells me what my tread depth was. What is the point then? If my tires are wearing unevenly, it would be nice to know about it and even better to know which tire. One of them was less than the others. Wearing faster. No idea which one and the receipt is worthless as it doesn't have that info. My bigger peeve is that when I had the tires installed I asked if they could tell me how much brake pad was left. Actually my girl was with the car and I asked her to ask them. She said they told her they can't do that. When I got there she and another customer told me it was due to liability. Now I didn't ask for them to make a judgement call on whether or not the brakes were good or bad or could go X miles. I just literally wanted a estimate measurement. The other customer coukdnt understand why I didn't want to accept the liability excuse and made sweeping statements about the trouble they could in. Let me make this part crystal clear for the sites and for the corporate lawyers. Ask yourself how much money you'll be liable for the day you refuse to tell a customer his brake pads were looking pretty slim, or let's say a couple mm left, and that person ends up dead or killing someone else 3 days later due to not stopping in time or some type of brake failure? They will sue and they will win stating that any reasonable technician would have recognized how dangerously worn the brake pads were and you refused to inform the customer, whether or not it's your business. So if that's policy to not say anything, I'd really rethink that. Seems like the liability is with not telling them. You tell them, you've done what would be reasonable. You refuse and you are opening yourself up to be cast as the next bad guy in court. So easily. They will crucify you. Think about it, corporate lawyer people. That's all I'm going to say on that. My car was done by 115. Guys at this store working in the bays showed a lot of hustle and cooperation. An exemplary crew of technicians. The service writer guys were good once they got to me but they would do well to achnowledge people when they walk in to let them know they are seen and will be helped soon. Can't ask for much better on a free service. Still would be nice to know those tread depths since you took the time to measure and all....

It's been quite awhile since I've been here since I've been driving less and I also purchased a new vehicle, so I haven't had to get any new tires. The management seems to have changed since I didn't see the familiar faces. I have since come here twice in the past two months, unfortunately because I like driving on nails. Parking is a challenge because they're so busy, but I can find parking down the street - it's just a bit of a walk. On my first visit, my tire could not be patched but helped me make an order for the tire with a deposit. I ended up getting it replaced at the dealership because I wanted it done sooner if I could. I informed America's Tire and they refunded me my deposit. On my second visit, my tire could be patched (thankfully!). I was helped quickly and I was in and in 30 minutes. This is the type of service that I have always appreciated. In both cases, I had made an appointment. Shout out to Norman. It was nice seeing you, but I hope I don't have to see you again for another 13,000 miles.
