Was on the freeway when I noticed my tire was loosing air , came to the nearest tire shop , came with my own tire and they charged me 35$ for the installment don't come to this tire shop especially if you bring your own tire after he installed it he told me that my tire was big n wide that no one would install it I highly do not recommend this tire shop read more

Had a flat. Asked them to take a picture of the flat for my warranty claim. They quoted me 252 for one tire over the phone. I agreed. Got there and my car was on the left. They told me it was actually 275. I said fine and paid. Asked them for a statement stating which tire was replaced for the warranty. Guy said he could provide but would have to charge me an extra 30 dollars in taxes for it. Not as trustworthy shop. Avoid if possible. read more

Very knowledgeable and friendly service. They do not try to up sell or fix something unnecessary!!! I would recommend highly read more

Thorough and detailed work. Always the best! The owners are great and they are fair and friendly.

Art and his crew have been nothing but fair, kind and reasonable to me and my vehicles over the years. He will tell me when I don't need to replace or do something, just as much as he will advise me when service is needed. He never charges me to fix something that isn't broken... which is a rare and honest thing that's hard to find these days. read more

Great service very affordable the price they quoted is what I paid. The first time they did my rear brakes on my 2018 Subaru forester very affordable compared to the dealership. Today did the front brakes & turned the rotors in a couple of hours. Also they did the complete brake job front & rear on my daughter's 2023 Bronco Sport a couple of weeks ago and She was very satisfied. Would I recommend S&A complete auto YES SIR. Thanks to Sarkis & Art and crew. read more

I brought my car to have oversized tires fitted after other large chain shops refused and said it simply wouldn't work. Well, it worked. Many thanks to Sako for cautioning that it might not fit but working with me anyway. read more

Great service and checked out the problem and solved it within a short time frame and the service cost was reasonable. Did not overcharge.

Great value when you consider its quality work that can be done same day. Really nice guy. A collision center I used years ago next door uses this place for their alignments. Across the street is Toms Burgers, known for their breakfasts. You can eat breakfast while you watch your alignment take place. They can align Tesla's when almost no one else will. read more

Quite simply, these guys are terrific. Based on a referral by my mechanic (whom I respect very much), I brought in my '03 Boxster S for a much needed alignment after an extensive suspension overhaul. They have a Hunter DSP600 machine and they know how to use it. I worked with Sako and Harry. They are extremely thorough and honest. I am very impressed by them and grateful to have been referred to them. read more

Sako and Art are the best. I've been bringing my cars here for years. My threshold requirement for a mechanic is honesty, and they are very honest and straight-forward. They've never tried to sell me anything I don't need, and have even advised for more cost-effective repairs and purchases. Excellent mechanics, and if something needs to be done they feel isn't in their skill set, they let me know and tell me to go to a specialist. I don't know much about cars, and it would be pretty easy to convince me to pay more for things I don't need. I know that won't happen here. I highly recommend. read more

Very good service I have car service business and I'm very happy with there service and price they are the best in Pasadena area I recommend them for any job thank you sako and art read more

This place has the most reasonable rates for auto repair in Pasadena. Highly recommended . Talk to ART . I went to 5 , 6 repair shops to get pricing on replacing my cv axles on my car . I got some ridiculous and outrages prices . Almost as bad as the dealership. I'm glad I stopped here . Art quoted me a price I couldn't believe. I had to ask him twice to make sure I heard him correctly. At first I thought he gave me a price for only one side. They replaced my cv axles left and right brand new , for a great price. And gave me a 1 year warranty . Thank you Art ! I will be bringing my cars to you guys in the future for any repairs. Gary read more

LOL this place really tried to rip me off. The splash guard had come off from the bottom of my car because of debris from the freeway hitting me so I just needed someone to help take it off. I would do it myself but I don't have a Jack. This guy really tried to charge me $40 probably because I am a femme presenting woman and he saw that as naivety. I called two other places and both said it would take no more than 5 minutes and offered to do it for me for free. I'm not trying to cheat anyone out of money and am willing to pay for my services, but come on dude. This makes me believe that they would rip you off on any service you got done here. Lost my trust and any potential business from me. When I told the mechanic that I went to down the street they agreed with me that he was trying to rip me off. I got the service done in like 5 minutes and tipped the mechanics who took it off for me. Thanks for nothing dude your sexism sucks. read more

I have 2 job interviews in the Bay Area tomorrow, low coolant level, and the Subaru Service Center is closed today (Sunday). I called up, Art explained to me that what I needed to check was the coolant level in the radiator not the reservoir, and then he offered for me to come in and he would help look at it. I came in, he was waiting inside and we shook hands and he knew I was the "Subaru guy", and he came outside with me, took a look at it, twisted the radiator cap off slightly to ensure that there was adequate fluid, and then offered to top me off with Blue OEM coolant. He topped me off with coolant, and afterwards, I offered to pay him something and he refused, he just wanted to help me out. Thank you Art and S&A, it is really rare to find someone who has their business model centered around wanting to help, this was a blessing. I will be back when I have bigger issues with my car. read more

I was waiting in line at discount tires when I came across S&A on Yelp. Reviews were great, so I decided to take my chances. I planned a surprise birthday party for my BFF. For his birthday, he wanted to go to disneyland to take advantage of their 'get in for free on your birthday' deal. I needed a good way to keep him in town, since I'd succeeded in getting 25 people to come from other states and SD. One thing about my BFF is that there's no deterring him from his goal once he puts his mind to it. He was going to go to disneyland on his own If I didn't find a good way to stop him. My solution was to let the air out of two of his tires on the same side. If I'd flattened one of them, he'd just change out the spare and want to still go. This was no good. I let out the air out of the tires and made like he must have run over something. This pissed him off to no end when he saw that his brand new tires had flats in not one, but two tires. He called AAA and they decided to try putting air in the tires, but he wanted to get the tires checked out by a tire shop. We went to S&A auto due to some recommendations from a friend. I was worried that they were going to try to rip us off since I knew damn well there was nothing wrong with the tire. 1.5 hours later(I was stalling, I bet they were done earlier), they tell us the diagnosis that there was nothing wrong with the tires that they could find. Cost? Nada! They charged him nothing for the inspection! I was going to pay for anything under the guise of being his birthday. Thank you S&A. For being do honest! It's a rare find to find an auto place that doesn't try to rip you off. I highly recommend these honest guys! read more

Love Art & Sako! 20 yrs these guys have taken care of my cars! Reliable, dependable and HONEST! If something isn't needing work. They'll let ya know. That's foreign for mechanics! Honestly, when I pick my car up from this place I feel assured, relaxed, and confident that I'll get from point A to point B without a challenge. Did I mention at every visit they've checked fluids, tire pressure and at the last visit they "called me" to just say I needed wipers! I knew but had forgotten...3 days later it rained! They don't come any greater than these two!!! read more

Okay, my review will be kind of long but it needs to be !! I originally took my car to Mercedez Benz in Arcadia. They told me that I needed a new tire because there was a nail in one of them. The tire would cost $320 if I got it fixed there. For some reason, I did not feel that I needed a new tire since my car is not even a year old! Anyway, I took my car to S&A. I did not tell them that the Arcadia dealership told me I needed a new tire! I told them, "there's a nail in one of my tires, can you patch it up?" So, the mechanic tells me , "oh yeah, there's a nail in it". We can patch it up for sure. I asked, "do I need a new tire ? " He said, "no"! I go eat, and when I return, he says, "it turns out you don't even need a patch, the nail did not penetrate deep enough!! I was shocked since Arcadia wanted to sell me a brand new tire !! I then tried to give him a tip and he absolutely refused !! This is a reason I gave it 5 starts!! I wish I could give them more!! read more

I have been here for about five years. They gave me the cheapest prices for the tires. They also checked my ac and if it broke down during warrantee period they will fix it with just charging labor. These guys are great. I had just moved to California (3 years ago) and needed to get my 'check engine' light checked out and walked down the street to see them. They were very polite and helpful with the process, answered all my questions, and gave me a good recommendation for a body shop to use after I got into an accident earlier this year. Every 6 months or so, I pop in to see them, and they take care of me right away. Definitely recommend!! read more

They are honest, fast and give great servide. I've been using rhen for iver 10 years.

I simply do not remember if I have written a review yet but, even if I have, these guys deserve to have one written every time I have them service my car or my wife's car. I have been around for a LONG time. My first car was a 1961 Ford Falcon, and it was only 5 years old when I got it. I would imagine that most who read this won't even know what car that was!! Put it this way - Lyndon Johnson was President when I got that car, and the main activity of most young men was figuring out how NOT to be sent to Vietnam (I was not one of them). But that is not why I am writing this. Art and Saco are absolutely and absolutely (not to mention ABSOLUTELY) the most competent, nicest, caring, and HONEST automobile experts I have EVER met, and the only ones about whom I would say that, as long as I am alive and as long as I own a car and I live anywhere near them, there is no possible way I would let ANYONE ELSE touch my car. Well, maybe TOUCH it. But repair it? Not a chance. These guys are great. If you need to have a car repaired and if you are anywhere near Pasadena, doo yourself a favor. Take it to Saco and Art. Or take it to Art and Saco. Or take it to Saco. Or take it to Art. in any case, you will be happy if you do. read more

I needed to put new tires on a Mercedes SUV I only buy continental tires for our Mercedes and BMW M4. I went online to find my tires on continentals website then hit store locator. I called 2 big box tires centers in pasadena. Neither carried the tires and did not want to order them. I then read the review for S and A. Ok I went in and asked about the tire promo rebate from Continental. He said I could do that if I wanted online. OK then he said he could save me money on the tires I wanted. I saved 250.00 He said he could have the tires in two days.. Ok I pulled out my CC he said he needed a deposit. I said just charge me the full amount. I also needed an alignment and the suv is a 4 wheel drive. Usually an alignment on this car would be double the cost of a 2 wheel drive. No he only charged me the normal 70 dollars instead of 140 I am beyond happy and what great customer service. I paid in 10 minutes dropped the car off to have the tires put on and alignment and was done in one hour. GREAT JOB GUYS. I strongly suggest supporting the mom and pop stores they still care about Customer service. FYI the other day an older woman in a newer mini had a nail in her run flats. I was at a gas station and tried to help her. She asked if she should go to BMW I said no and sent her to you. Thanks again. read more

I explained to him how I live far and needed to get them fixed that I would pay extra and he said nope too bad for you! The man that answered is Art.
