It was finally time to get my new-ish car serviced and so after doing some research and even asking a few AI chatbots, I settled on this spot after reading lots of great reviews. I called ahead to confirm if they could make time and we agreed on a date/time that worked. Upon arrival, the shop was jam packed with tons of cars. Feeling a bit worried that my check up would take forever, they quoted me about 1.5hrs to do the standard checks including brakes, tires, fluids, and oil change and it actually ended only taking 1 hour! Very thankful that they were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule and take care of my car efficiently with friendly service! They've won me over and I'll definitely come back again in a few months for the next service date. After going to Midas with an inconsistent temperature on the AC of my Ford Flex. The first Midas replaced my condenser and the compressor for $2200. When I picked it up, it still wasn't cooling down and they said I needed to drive it for a few weeks. It never improved. Went to a different Midas shop in Beverly Hills and they charged me another $200 to inspect and ultimately advised that it was the fan and it would cost another $2200. When I hesitated he advised he would do it for $1600. Did some research on google and Yelp and found J & E and was amazed at their five star reviews. Set up an appointment for a FREE inspection and was told that indeed it was the fan. They replaced it quickly and it runs better than ever. Not to mention they did it for $600. I have been there at least five times for oil changes and one major maintenance service. They found some issues and replaced some parts, and I felt they were very honest. Emad provided me with a clear and reasonable estimate, via email, for the service my car required and I was able to use the online system to easily schedule the appointment. Once I arrived, Emad provided me with an accurate estimate of how long it would take to have the service done and he let me know that if anything additional was needed he would call before doing the work. The guys at J&E pulled through for me again. My car's engine was misfiring, causing a lot of issues. I dropped off my car on Monday. I got a call on Tuesday morning, where they clearly explained what the problem was and sent me an invoice breaking down the parts and labor required. I agreed, and by Tuesday late afternoon, I was able to pick up my car. They even fixed up some tubing on my evac system for no additional charge. I don't use J&E often because it is a far drive for me. But if something goes really wrong with any of my cars I will drive it there. This place is great. They are friendly and have fair prices. They will give you an estimate and stick to it if they can. I had my rotors replaced there and that is a pain. They have also handled my brakes and some other work. They get it done pretty fast, not the same day usually. They also work on some super old cars and those are fun just to see. They can do anything you need and they will find you the part and tell you if it is not worth it to do anymore to the car. They are good guys and you will like it there. It is not spotless, after all they work on cars. Last time I was there they had coffee that was pretty good. read more
