    Guillermo and his staff were all helpful, and quick with the services I needed for my car. They helped diagnose the problem, provided different options and ultimately left the decision up to me. It's been a week since my car went in to get serviced and so far it's been smooth. I appreciate the timeliness, and honest help from everyone here. Will recommend to friends and family.     I replaced the spark plugs for my Mazda. Nice service. David did a good job. The waiting room is also very awesome.

    I will start off by saying nobody takes a vehicle in for repairs and expects their vehicle to come back inoperable. This is exactly what happened to me when I entrusted Bubba's automotive with my vehicle. When I dropped off my vehicle Guillermo told me they need to diagnose the problem as to why my vehicle has lost all power and wasn't running and they called me back according to them they figured out what the issue was and they would have my vehicle up and running and ready by the end of the day. Well.... The end of the day came and they told me they weren't able to fix the vehicle because they did not have the proper parts to do so and that I would have to get my vehicle towed because it wasn't running and there is nothing they could do about it. They charged my credit card $652.67 For a service that was not rendered and a vehicle that was not repaired. I would absolutely not recommend this mechanic shop for any reason whatsoever. I then took my vehicle to a mechanic in Santa Monica who works on imports who didn't work on my vehicle but he told me that I have to take my vehicle to Mercedes Benz to get it fixed because they specialized machinery for my vehicle engine and that's exactly what I did. At least he was honest and told me the truth. Guillermo, the owner refuses to refund me my money back so the next best thing I can do is write this review in hopes that others aren't taken advantage of by this mechanic because of their promises and good prices. Guillermo , the owner also told me that if I write a review he would have google remove the review. He also told me he would start writing bad reviews about me. Like I said, he told me he diagnosed the issue and could fix my vehicle and it would be up and running by the end of the day. The last thing I expected to do was tow my vehicle back home and be left with the same problem I originally came into his establishment with and a CC charge of $652.67 I'm even including photos for proof just in case Guillermo tries to deny any of my claims under this post. In the photos You will see I towed my vehicle to Babbas and at the end of the same day had to towed my vehicle back because they didn't fix the issue. You will also see the charges he made on my CC card from Babbas performance and I will also include the W.I Simonson Mercedes invoice where I took my vehicle to ultimately get worked on and repaired. I also will include the email my financial institution wrote to me in efforts to get the money back but unfortunately his financial institution has declined to do so.

I didn't get there as a tweak in the door itself caused my overhead lights to stay on and drain my battery. I arranged for a friend to take me home, expecting to leave the car for at lrast the afternoon. But manager (I did not get hois name) said it would just be a half hour. He called over a ytechnician and 20 minutes later the car was ready! I had some body damage and the manager quoted me a price apologetically, noting that Lexus Parts are super expensive. I said well, it's a 15 year old car - probably isn't even worth the cost of the repairs. I started to walk away and stopped, turned and said, "Wait, I haven't paid you!" And he said, "no charge".     I brought my 2017 Subaru Impreza in for a blinking engine temperature/ coolant light issue and they…read morequoted me 800 bucks for a new radiator. The next day, they called me saying they fixed the radiator, but there was an internal leaking issue that the mechanic couldn't figure out and that I should immediately go trade in the car before the engine fails. He gave me zero plausible or any technical explanation for what the origin of the issue was and added another 100 dollars to my service fee. I decided to take my car to a mechanic who is more accustomed to dealing with Subarus with the incredibly vague explanation I received from the mechanic rather than go sell or trade in the car because one person told me he can't fix it. The next day, I received an actual explanation of what the issue was, which was a cross contamination issue with the coolant and engine oil that can happen with the specific engine that Subarus are equipped with and he was able to give me an actual quote to fix the issue rather than telling me to trade in or sell the car. Furthermore, he said that changing the radiator should have only cost me a couple hundred dollars max and that the issue with the engine could have been prevented if I went to an experienced mechanic in the first place! I was overcharged by more than double the actual price of parts and service and literally told to go trade in the car after paying $880 dollars, which I had to haggle down from $900 after the price increased overnight. Please don't come here for any repairs as they are not qualified to provide proper service, yet will overcharge you without any agreement. I'm reposting because every word is my actual experience as an 8-year customer, and other people deserve to know what happened. Eight years as a customer - huge decline since management changed I've been a customer here since 2012 when Chris was running things. Back then they were fair, professional, stood behind their work. That version of this shop doesn't exist anymore. I just finished dealing with Rubin on a repair for my 1989 MX-6 Turbo and I'm beyond frustrated. Here's what happened. The battery issue: I brought them a brand new Optima AGM battery from O'Reilly's - $300+ with the extended warranty because my turbo needs a quality battery that can handle multiple discharge cycles. They were supposed to fix the ignition switch that wasn't fully disengaging (which drains batteries). I specifically told them not to leave the battery connected while they worked on it for exactly this reason. They left it connected. Killed my brand new battery. When I picked up the car months later and realized the battery was dead, Rubin promised he'd work with O'Reilly's to get it replaced and call me back. That was 6-8 months ago. Never called. When I finally reached him again, he acted like that conversation never happened and offered me a basic Interstate battery instead. So now I'm supposed to accept a cheap replacement for the premium battery THEY destroyed? That's not how this works. Work that wasn't completed: My gauge cluster still doesn't work - can't see speed, fuel level, temperature. That was one of my main concerns bringing the car in. The radio they disconnected is still not working. The door lock they replaced fell down inside the door panel. I asked Rubin to either fix the cluster or refer me to an electrician who specializes in older cars. Said he'd get back to me. Never did. Condition when I picked it up: Backseat was completely disconnected and flipped over. Windshield was so dirty I literally couldn't see to drive home. Wires sticking out everywhere. Screws and washers scattered all over the floors and seats. When I asked why the backseat was taken apart, Rubin said "the mechanic needed to get back there." Okay but why didn't anyone PUT IT BACK? The runaround: First they said the ignition switch was the problem. Then it was the radio. Now Rubin says my car "just has electrical issues" and that's not their problem. Wait - I paid you $3,800 TO FIX electrical issues. If it still has electrical issues after you worked on it, then either the work wasn't done properly or you're not equipped to handle older performance cars. Rubin's selective amnesia about promises made, the battery situation, and the incomplete work has crossed a line. If Chris were still here this would never have happened. I don't know what Nick's involvement is at this point but Rubin is running this place into the ground. Eight years of loyalty and thousands of dollars spent over the years, and this is what it's come to. Really disappointing.

    I brought my 2014 Mazda CX-5 AWD to this shop for a paid diagnostic and what followed was one of…read morethe most frustrating and unprofessional repair experiences I've had. I paid approximately $185 for a diagnostic inspection. Initially, I was told the vehicle needed axles, engine mounts, transmission mount, brakes, fluids, etc. The estimate language itself was confusing ("front inner axle" and "front outer axle"), so I asked reasonable questions about whether they meant complete CV axle assemblies, whether the parts were OEM or aftermarket, and what warranty was included. Instead of providing a proper written breakdown, I was repeatedly told they were "too busy" to answer questions and that I should just buy the parts myself and pay labor only. Eventually they admitted most of the parts they quoted were aftermarket despite pricing that seemed much closer to OEM Mazda pricing. Then things got worse. I specifically warned them that the car had an iffy electrical situation and asked them not to drain the battery because it was fairly new. When I picked up the car, the battery had been completely drained anyway. Their response? "The battery is under warranty so you can just replace it yourself." After jump starting the car and driving literally only a couple blocks home, the transmission began jolting hard between shifts and suddenly EVERY warning light on the dashboard came on -- ABS, traction control, AWD, multiple system warnings -- issues that were NOT present when I brought the car in. To make matters worse, after paying for a diagnostic, I still never received a proper written report explaining: * the alleged electrical issue, * any fault codes, * scan results, * or a real technical explanation of what was wrong. Instead, after all the back-and-forth, they basically decided they didn't want the job anymore and told me to come get the car because they "didn't want to find more problems." At no point did I become rude or hostile. I simply asked questions any customer should ask before authorizing nearly $2,000+ in repairs. The entire experience felt disorganized, poorly communicated, defensive, and ultimately left me with a vehicle in worse condition than when I dropped it off. I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.

It's one of the best decisions I have made this year. Will was able to come out with a day or so and run a diagnostics check, quickly locating the issue and showing me the results. He explained to me what the issue was, discussed options, gave me a full quote and a price - highly competitive. With me agreeing to what needed to be done, he ordered the part (Saturday) and came back the next day (Sunday) to install it. Incredibly helpful and so polite, he showed me the new part, walked me through what he was going to do and afterward even showed me the part he removed and explained the wear and why it was actually perfect timing. Within hours I was up and running again, good as new. I have NEVER had service like this from a dealership in all my years of being a car owner and driver (and that's several decades). Will also flagged other things that I needed to be aware of (including needing an oil change - which I will be getting him to come and do) but at no point pushed for me to do them there and then - zero pressure, just guidance. He repeatedly asked if I had any questions and was keen for me to understand what was happening and why - superb! He even cleared up the work area after he'd finished. Flawless. Aside from the convenience and Will just being an incredibly nice guy, his attention to detail and service are second to none. Friendly and knowledgable, he works hard to make sure you understand what he's doing, and is professional and polite at every step along the way. Will clearly cares and takes great pride in what he does. He's the only person I will be going to for my automotive service needs from now on. Highly recommended.

I called ahead to ask if they would allow me to bring my own oil and filters for my Mercedes‑Benz GLB 250, and they were completely open to it. When I arrived, Irvin was incredibly helpful, respectful, and professional. He gave me very fair pricing and serviced my car without any pressure to buy extra parts or unnecessary services. Much gratitude for the local coffee shop recommendation, I was able go get work done while my car was being serviced which felt very productive! Getting two things off my to do list work and car maintenance As a woman maintaining my car on my own, I truly appreciated the honesty, transparency, and kindness I received here.
