I thihk someone opened a car door into traffic as I heard a loud crashing sound on my right, looked over, and my passenger side window was smashed. I ordered a used replacement from eBay and after it arrived I looked for a body shop that could install it. After reading glowing reviews, I called Hyperion to ask if hey could schedule the installation, expecting to wait a few days. Instead the guy on the phone said to bring it in at 10:30 the next day. I didn't get there as a tweak in the door itself caused my overhead lights to stay on and drain my battery. I arranged for a friend to take me home, expecting to leave the car for at lrast the afternoon. But manager (I did not get hois name) said it would just be a half hour. He called over a ytechnician and 20 minutes later the car was ready! I had some body damage and the manager quoted me a price apologetically, noting that Lexus Parts are super expensive. I said well, it's a 15 year old car - probably isn't even worth the cost of the repairs. I started to walk away and stopped, turned and said, "Wait, I haven't paid you!" And he said, "no charge". I was dumbfounded and only hope I thanked him emough. Great work, fast, and even complimentary. I'm in awe. Go there! read more

I had such a great experience with Hyperion Collision Center! They helped fix my Chevy Camaro and I honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Ed helped me throughout the entire process and was seriously the best! From the beginning he was super communicative and made what could have been a stressful process incredibly easy. He kept me informed throughout the entire repair, answered all my questions so I was never left wondering what was going on with my car. I felt completely comfortable trusting them with my Camaro, and the quality of their work definitely shows their expertise. I'm honestly so glad I found them! I 100% recommend. read more

After reading their great reviews on Yelp, I stopped by to get an estimate for some bumper damage on the front of my car. The estimate looked good (and I shopped around with a few other very well rated shops in the neighborhood). Another shop also mentioned that Hyperion Collision does great work, so I went with them because their price was the best. Got the car back quickly and the work (replace and paint/match bumper cover) looks great! Also my car was returned fully washed inside and out which was a very nice touch! read more

I needed help switching out my car battery, and Steve, a wonderful kind man offered to have his employee switch it out for me. The employee who switched it out for me was another very kind man, who took the time to explain what he was doing because I wanted to learn how to switch it out myself. He showed me exactly what needed to be done and patiently answered all of my questions. After all was done, I tried to give this man a tip, and he would not accept. He just helped me out of the goodness of his heart. I wish him great karma! THIS is the reason why this place has almost close to 5 stars! Having such a kind owner / manager (I think Steve may be the owner or manager) and employee make a world of a difference. The way they helped me out, I just know if I have any car repair needs, they would take care of my car. I will definitely be coming back here and recommending this place to others. read more

I came to Hyperion after my bumper was hit by another car. Everyone at Hyperion was super nice, informative, and walked me through the entire insurance process with ease. This was my first time handling a car insurance case, so I had a lot of questions and luckily the crew at Hyperion was happy to help. From beginning to end, it took about 2 weeks for my car to be fixed (between insurance and Hyperion fixing) and when I got my car back, it was clearly nicely put back together. If I ever run into any car damage again, I will be for sure coming back to Hyperion. Thank you Hyperion team! read more

I brought my car to Hyperion Collision with damage to the front bumper/grille area and some internal misalignment. Ed and his team handled everything -- from dealing with insurance to the actual repairs -- and did a FANTASTIC job. I couldn't be happier. They even fixed a torn-off fender flare from a separate incident free of charge! Extremely professional, friendly, and kept me in the loop at all times. I can't emphasize enough, go to Ed! I was recently involved in a minor collision with a Metro city bus. Even though it was a small accident, I drive a Lexus CT which is absolutely no match for a Metro city bus. To sum the damage up, my front bumper was a complete mess and literally hanging on by a thread. After looking around I decided to take my Lexus CT to Ed at Hyperion Collision Center. Not only did Ed do a fantastic job at replacing my totaled bumper he also didn't charge for several parts he ended up having to purchase out of pocket. My car looks almost brand new and he repaired it in about a week! I am very happy with the results! I can't recommend Ed and his shop any higher! They did an amazing job on my little Lexus! read more

Service was fast as promised, compare to other shops this is more premium BUT they do the job very well. I had car dented on the left side of the back passenger door, and when I called other places they said it was going to take up to 1 month at least, however, Hyperion finished in 2 weeks as promised. The owner also gave me some discounts and made the final number a whole. Strongly recommend! read more

I've been coming here for years now whenever I need work on my cars. Ed, the manager, is super nice, super fair and very responsive. I could not recommend Ed & his team more. After causing an accident in my girlfriend's Audi TT, I was beside myself with anxiety knowing that the process of working with insurance is never fun. Ed made the process so simple & comforting with his frequent communication, constant reassurance, & overall outstanding customer service. Ed made sure we were informed of every step of the process. There was a part he needed to order directly from Germany & he made sure to keep both us, and the insurance adjustor, in the loop at all times. He offered a deductible discount which was very much appreciated. Ed has a very strong knowledge of luxury cars which made us feel like we were in really good hands during a typically stressful process. When we came to pick up the car, we noticed the grill looked different than before. There was an additional part that should have been there, but it didn't show up on Ed's computer system. Ed got to the bottom of it by contacting Audi directly & figuring out exactly what piece was needed. I really appreciated his attentiveness to making sure we were fully satisfied with his work & that the car was restored to it's original condition. In addition to completing the task at hand, Ed went above & beyond by touching up a few paint chips & a minor dent that were not caused by the accident, completely free of charge. The fact that we got the car back in even BETTER condition than before the accident has made me a loyal customer for life. I could not imagine bringing a vehicle to any other collision center after the lovely experience I had here. I was very lucky that Hyperion Collision Center was right around the corner, but if I ever move away from the Silverlake area I would drive hours to come back here. They are THAT good. Ed saved my car. I got into a wreck on the highway after someone randomly stopped and caused me to rear end them. My insurance wouldn't cover anything and the front of my car was a complete mess. Ed and his team worked around holiday time to get it looking like new. He found the cheapest high quality parts he could to keep the cost down for me, cleaned and buffed out bits that weren't even a result of the crash, got the car back to me in less time that was estimated, stayed near on the mark with the cost estimate, and did everything with a smile and a handshake. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say I haven't experienced this level of professionalism elsewhere in my five years of living in LA. I'm a customer for life. read more

I was a claimant on someone else's insurance for minor damage to my rear bumper. This was my first time dealing with an insurance claim, and they had set me up for an appointment with one of their partnered shops (crash champions). They made me wait for 30+ minutes past my appointment, were rude and hung up on me multiple times, and took 2+ weeks to upload a quote. The customer service was horrendous, so I decided to do my own research and found Hyperion. I'm so glad I decided to go with Hyperion, I had an absolutely great experience with Ed, who got a brand new bumper for me. Throughout the process, I was provided with constant communication, flexibility, and fast and high quality service. I have recommended this shop to my friends, and will be here again for any future work to my car. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while--it's been on my to do list forever. I'm not a big Yelp reviewer but, even though that's the case, I felt compelled to due to the particularly amazing job that Ed and George did. I have a unique and classic car, a 1970 Land Rover. After about a year of having it, someone ran into it while parked on a quiet street over Memorial Day weekend. Super unsure where I should take it, I was referred very strongly to these guys and definitely thank my lucky stars I was. The aluminum wing on the driver side was crumpled, the suspension shot and the bumper scraped and bent. These guys shined not only in keeping me updated on the repairs but 1) Matching its rare color and 2) Hunting the nation for anyone that supplies these Land Rover wings. Unlike other metals, aluminum can't be hammered out, so Ed spent countless hours trying to find how we could get a hold of a replacement wing. Finally, he found the only person in the US that recreates them (Land Rover no longer manufactures this part). Due to Ed's tireless work and George's mechanical know how, its up and running and beautiful. I would bring ANY car with damage to these guys, classics and modern vehicles alike. Thank you for restoring my dream car to me and as good as new and apologies for not having written this sooner :) read more

This place is legit. All these positive reviews are telling the truth. Brought in my new Lexus here after it was hit by a garage gate. I was pretty upset about the entire incident but all my worries/stress were put at ease after having Ed take a look. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. There's no BS and straight to the point. This place is very busy and I would suggest giving them a call to see when a good time would be to stop in. Ed gave me a promise date and he kept his word! I'm sure it all depends on the type of works that needs to be done to the vehicle but I was able to have my car parked back at home in a business week. I can't think of any complaints about my visit here. Drove 2K miles and the work still looks the same since I picked it up! I will be coming back to this shop for any future body shop needs COVID: the shop and staff are following the social distance and mask guidelines set forth by the county. I felt very comfortable during my visit while going over the vehicle and paperwork. read more

This is a GREAT place for repairs, I highly recommend! If you are looking for service with transparency, timely communication, and flexibility, this is the place to go. Ed was extremely helpful; he helped me decide what repairs were best to do, and was completely transparent about the associated costs (I got quotes from 2 other collision centers in the area, and I found Hyperion offers the best value). Ed consistently kept in touch with updates about the status of my repairs, drop off and pickup were a breeze, and he even set me up with a discount for a rental car while mine was in the shop. This place is the auto body place to go! Our neighbor run into our driver side door and it was dented with scratches all along the door. I just can't say enough good stuff about Hyperion Collision Center and the manager I dealt with there, Ed. My car's front bumper and fenders were a mess, coming apart and barely staying on. I'm planning on selling it in the next 6 months. But it's a 2011 and Kelly said that in Fair condition I could expect to get around $5,329, and in Good condition about $600 dollars more, all selling to a private party, which I have no intention of doing. Car Max made an offer for it of $2,800. But I needed to do something to make the car safer to drive, and obviously, I wanted to spend as little as I could. First place I went to gave me an estimate of $4,000. Then I went to Ed at Hyperion. To begin with, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with -- friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. He gave me an estimate for the SAME WORK of about $2000. Still a lot to pay for a car I was going to be selling. So I explained my situation to Ed, asked if we could gerry rig something that would both improve the appearance, make it safer to drive, and make it so stuff wasn't popping off and sticking out to the side as I drove. The guy at the first place I went to and asked the same question looked at me like I was nuts and said no. Ed said they could maybe try to zip tie some of the pieces so at least everything stayed in place. I said let's try that. But the guy he had do the work wasn't buying any of that. He was determined to do the best job he could possibly do. He started bolting stuff, pushing things back in place, jacking the car up so he could do a more thorough job, waaaay more that I had thought they would do or expected. And while he's doing that, with another one of the guys holding stuff in place so that the bolts would hold, a third guy comes over, looks at the car, goes to get a buffer and starts buffing scratches on the fender. The whole thing took about 20-25 minutes. The guys working on it took real pride in doing the best they could and getting it right. When I went to pay, Ed wouldn't take any money. I said that at least I could tip the guys, who'd done such a magnificent job, and he said they're not allowed to take tips. So I saved $2,000 and they did superb work. Sorry for this way too long review, but Ed and his guys just blew me away. Soooooo excellent at what they do, plus honest and understanding, easy to talk to, and beyond fair. I will absolutely only ever go to these guys again when I need body work done. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They're a really special outfit. read more
