I brought my 2018 Chevy Silverado Duramax to Glendale Lube Center for an oil change, and I'll be honest... I expected them to call the fire department just to reach the hood. My truck is on a 12-inch lift with 42-inch tires, which basically means it's less of a truck and more of a mobile observation tower. Small children look at it the way people look at monster trucks at a county fair. Most oil change places take one look at it and suddenly say things like "our lift is down" or "we don't service... aircraft carriers." Not these guys. They walked out, looked up at the truck like they were inspecting a skyscraper, nodded, and got to work like it was a completely normal Tuesday. One of the techs climbed up there like a Navy SEAL scaling a building. Next thing I know, oil change done, no drama, no weird upsells, and nobody needed a ladder from Home Depot. Truck runs great, still sits high enough to change the weather pattern in Glendale, and I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10. If your truck is ridiculously tall and slightly irresponsible like mine, these are your people. read more

I Was told by my daughter that I should get my oil changed at the Glendale Lube center I was a little skeptical. I have always gone to Jiffy Lube for oil changes. Well I will never go back to Jiffy Lube!! As soon as I pulled up to Glendale Lube I was greeted by a gentleman to park and asked if I was there for an oil change and he said it would be about 15 min. Wait. He wasn't lying either. Two cars in front of me and they got them finished in 15 min. They called me to pull my van up and Maria was so kind and said they'd get everything done in 15 min. I couldn't believe how fast they were. So professional and kind. I was even able to bring my own oil and filter and they just did the work. The charge was way less than I'm used to. So I will definitely be back and I will tell everyone to come here to get their oil changed. read more

Yesterday was just a day of servicing my car and although Glendale Lube Center is out of my way, I saw the reviews that it was family-owned and some of my other fellow Yelper friends seemed to have loved this place so I figured, why not. I called ahead to make sure that they were available last minute and luckily, no wait. I was maybe 15 minutes out and went there immediately after my phone call. As I got there, a gentleman who helped me steer in the right direction as to where I should park helped me and I immediately hear a familiar female voice who was the person that picked up my call earlier. She and the other mechanic helped inspect my car and changed the oil for me. No frills, no additional, unnecessary add-ons. I felt a sense of genuineness cause sometimes I do go to various places and I get a feeling that someone is upselling things to me, but this place was not the case. They also checked my tire pressure and all the other fluids and said my car was in good shape. Which, is probably the most honest answer I've received in a long time as I try to maintain my car the best that I can so I don't ever have big issues down the line. They will also check your Anyways, highly recommend this place. Maria, the female lady and the other guy (didn't get a chance to get his name) was professional and kind. Absolutely loved their service and would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone is in Glendale or in any of the nearby city. Do not come here for your next oil change. An employee stripped the oil pan drain plug on my vehicle, and the owner, Ciro, did not take full responsibility for the damage. He refused to cover the $100 cost quoted by a local muffler shop to weld an extension onto the plug so it could be removed. The conversation ended with Ciro saying, "We are done, have a nice day." Very disappointing experience and poor customer service. UPDATE: I need to clarify several inaccuracies in the owner's response. I brought my vehicle to this shop for an oil change. During that visit, an employee attempted to remove the drain plug and informed me it had been damaged. I asked whether it could be repaired without making the issue worse, and I was told another shop could fix it and that customers are regularly referred there for this same issue. That referral came directly from the employee, not from me. The drain plug damage occurred while my vehicle was in this shop's care. Although the owner states that no service was completed during that visit, this was not my first oil change here. The damage occurred during a prior service performed by this business. As a customer, I should not be expected to inspect the underside of my vehicle after routine maintenance, nor would I fabricate this situation. This is why I requested accountability. Regarding the oil change interval, I was transparent about my driving circumstances and explained that I had added oil as needed until I could bring the vehicle in. This does not justify damage to the oil pan or remove responsibility for damage caused during service. The cost to resolve the issue was $100. My request was simply for the business to take responsibility for damage that occurred in their shop. Unfortunately, the conversation ended with a refusal to do so. Brought my lifted Duramax into Glendale Lube Center for an oil change and fuel filter replacement and immediately realized my truck was probably the smallest ego in the parking lot. Most shops see this thing pull up and suddenly everybody disappears to 'lunch,' but not here. Maria and Cesar handled it like absolute veterans. Maria was at the front desk looking so good I almost forgot why I came in there in the first place. Customer service was flawless she had the whole place running smoother than my truck after the service. Meanwhile Cesar looked like the final boss of diesel mechanics. Dude walked up to the truck like he'd wrestled lifted suspensions in hand-to-hand combat before breakfast. I'm pretty sure at one point they needed FAA clearance to work underneath my truck, but somehow they got the oil change and fuel filter done fast, clean, and without launching a socket into orbit. Truck came back running perfect, no leaks, no problems, and no 'check engine light surprise package' two miles later. Honestly Glendale Lube Center feels less like a lube shop and more like a Fast & Furious side quest. Great people, great vibes, and solid work. I was tired of overpaying at the dealership for a simple oil change and very tired of taking my car to Jiffy Lube or Valvoline where they would constantly provide bad service (loose oil filters, broken or stripped oil pan screw, etc....). The shop is very courteous and professional. They do not try to upsell you needless services and are upfront and honest on the work needed. I've had my engine and transmission oil changed here and have had no issues. I simply provide my own oil filter and they do the rest.
