    I came to this location for an oil change on Sunday morning, March 8, and had a couple of filters replaced as well, for a total of around $220. I was planning to use an Affirm card to pay for the service, as I had a line of credit of over $1,000 with Affirm available to me on Saturday, March 7. Unfortunately, apparently Affirm locked me out of my line of credit on Saturday evening after another business unsuccessfully attempted to use my Affirm account to collect an automatically scheduled payment of $19.99. As a result, my Affirm card could not be used on Sunday morning to pay for my Jiffy Lube service. Since I had no other cash or any line of credit to draw from, I offered my iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard as collateral until I could come up with the cash. It was humiliating, and I was apologetic, but I didn't know what else to do. I told the Jiffy Lube employee I would reach out as soon as I had the needed cash available so I could come in and pay the debt. I called Affirm on Monday (March 9) during business hours to find out what had happened with my line of credit and they explained what had happened. My line of credit could not be made available again until I paid the $19.99, and then I would need to wait four days for a new review of my line of credit. While the iPad was in the possession of the store, at 10:18 PM on Sunday, March 8, I received an email alert from American Express warning me that my American Express card had been reactivated in the Apple Wallet of my tablet. I received a call/voicemail from Jiffy Lube this morning (March 10) around 10 am asking me for payment information. I called back within 5 minutes to follow up, and offered a solution: I could stop by the store, pick up the keyboard for my iPad (retails for $300) and leave the IPad (value $699), and try to sell the keyboard online with the hope of having cash for Jiffy Lube by end of day. The manager I spoke with was impatient, angry and made a point of communicating that my solution was not a satisfactory one to him. He interrupted me several times and generally treated me as though I had no intention of doing right by him and paying the debt. I don't know where he learned his customer service skills, but when you assume the worst about your customers, it should be no surprise when your customers start assuming the worst about you.

    The Best Jiffy Lube I've ever been. Alex and Sean are rockstar. Do not hesitate to check in, they'll get it done. Service is excellent and super friendly staffs. Parking should be plenty. They answer calls via phone and exceed expectations in person. Hats off to the management!

    I had a flat tire and although they don't fix flat tires but Christopher helped me put on my spare tire for free. It's a kindness that's rare in this day and age. Thanks to Alex, the shop manager!

My truck is on a 12-inch lift with 42-inch tires, which basically means it's less of a truck and more of a mobile observation tower. Small children look at it the way people look at monster trucks at a county fair. Most oil change places take one look at it and suddenly say things like "our lift is down" or "we don't service... aircraft carriers." Not these guys. They walked out, looked up at the truck like they were inspecting a skyscraper, nodded, and got to work like it was a completely normal Tuesday. One of the techs climbed up there like a Navy SEAL scaling a building. Next thing I know, oil change done, no drama, no weird upsells, and nobody needed a ladder from Home Depot. Truck runs great, still sits high enough to change the weather pattern in Glendale, and I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10. If your truck is ridiculously tall and slightly irresponsible like mine, these are your people.

Very disappointing experience and poor customer service. UPDATE: I need to clarify several inaccuracies in the owner's response. I brought my vehicle to this shop for an oil change. During that visit, an employee attempted to remove the drain plug and informed me it had been damaged. I asked whether it could be repaired without making the issue worse, and I was told another shop could fix it and that customers are regularly referred there for this same issue. That referral came directly from the employee, not from me. The drain plug damage occurred while my vehicle was in this shop's care. Although the owner states that no service was completed during that visit, this was not my first oil change here. The damage occurred during a prior service performed by this business. As a customer, I should not be expected to inspect the underside of my vehicle after routine maintenance, nor would I fabricate this situation. This is why I requested accountability. Regarding the oil change interval, I was transparent about my driving circumstances and explained that I had added oil as needed until I could bring the vehicle in. This does not justify damage to the oil pan or remove responsibility for damage caused during service. The cost to resolve the issue was $100. My request was simply for the business to take responsibility for damage that occurred in their shop. Unfortunately, the conversation ended with a refusal to do so. I stand by my experience and my review.

    My mechanic says they cross-threaded my oil plug and it might cost me thousands of dollars…read more I spent 45 minutes at this valvoline yesterday with them trying to upsell me on everything. At the end I thought they were gonna say they were done, instead they come back and tell me they messed up my oil plug, the oil is now leaking, and they can't even change my oil. They said I need to go to a mechanic and they can't fix it. I asked to speak to the manager, and he was polite about it, but made it sound like it was my truck's fault and not their's. He told me my oil pan was rusted and that's why the plug broke, and I would need a mechanic to replace the oil pan immediately as it was actively leaking oil. I took it to a mechanic that I trust and have used a bunch before, he and a 2nd mechanic both looked at it and said the oil pan is fine and not rusted at all, and their mechanics "cross-threaded" the plug, which means they put it in crooked and messed up the threading, and that's why it's leaking. Now the threads of my oil pan are unusable, so they have to try to re-thread the pan. But they said valvoline might have broken it completely. So I might have to replace the oil pan after all. What was supposed to be a 15 minute oil change turned into a few days of no vehicle, hours of my time, and who knows how much money it will cost me in the end.

I ordered a used replacement from eBay and after it arrived I looked for a body shop that could install it. After reading glowing reviews, I called Hyperion to ask if hey could schedule the installation, expecting to wait a few days. Instead the guy on the phone said to bring it in at 10:30 the next day. I didn't get there as a tweak in the door itself caused my overhead lights to stay on and drain my battery. I arranged for a friend to take me home, expecting to leave the car for at lrast the afternoon. But manager (I did not get hois name) said it would just be a half hour. He called over a ytechnician and 20 minutes later the car was ready! I had some body damage and the manager quoted me a price apologetically, noting that Lexus Parts are super expensive. I said well, it's a 15 year old car - probably isn't even worth the cost of the repairs. I started to walk away and stopped, turned and said, "Wait, I haven't paid you!" And he said, "no charge".
