Very homophobic work environment! Still, we sat there very uncomfortable, waiting for a car to be serviced. What an awful feeling my work order number 424; I was visiting my mother from the Bay Area and wanted to ensure that our vehicle was ready for the commute back. When I returned to the bay, I discovered the car had been leaking oil. According to the tech in Alameda, Jiffy did not fasten the tub under the car. The Alameda center gave me a full inspection report, too, so that I can prove this horrible service at Jiffy. My invoice number that day was 912266372, I would like a full refund for this terrible experience. Edit: After receiving 2 voicemails from the Manager, I called back today and not only did he apologize, but he offered to redo the service and is giving me the next 2 oil changes for free. That's great customer service. I'm adding 2 more stars, keeping it at 3 because I shouldn't have had the lousy service in the first place. I do appreciate Angel making things right. I've been coming here for years and have been happy with their service up until my last visit this past Monday. I brought my new (used) car in for my first service and I couldn't have been there for 10 minutes before it was done. At first I was happy with how quick it was but I later found out why. In the past, someone would always tell me what was done before ringing me up but that didn't happen this time. When I got to my car, I noticed that it wasn't vacuumed and I had to ask to have it done. When I got home, I looked under the hood and none of the other fluids were topped off. My invoice said they were full when one was under the minimum and the others at the minimum level. I paid over $80 for this service and it's unbelievable that they'd lie and let me drive away knowing that they were below and at minimum levels. I popped into Jiffy Lube in Rosemead 2 days later and they were shocked. They happily filled my fluids and invited me to see them for my next oil change assuring that I'd be happy with their service. I went in for an oil change, based on the mileage recommendation from the previous service. The manager, Angel, checked the oil and told me that it looked good and he didn't want to charge for an unnecessary change. He suggested I return in about 1500 miles. They checked my tire pressure, topped it up, and sent me on my way free of charge. He's definitely won a new customer with that kind of honesty & integrity. read more

Third time I have been to this location. First time I got the signature service they did not clean my windows they did not fill up my water reservoir all they did was an oil change but I still got charged for all the extras. Second time I was here I drove up and someone came out and told me to come back in an hour because they were taking a break and this was at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Third time and last time I came here, a car was in the service bay and the other two bays were closed off and the person directed me to one of the closed off base where someone was standing and when I pulled up they walked away and I sat there for 10 minutes before I finally drove away. It was my first time coming to a Jiffy lube ever. I came because it's close to my house and I read great reviews about this location. So I figured maybe this could be my new oil change spot. I generally go to Valvoline because of their speedy work, and I knew this place would have a similar concept. So I show up and see that the middle lane has a shorter line than the lane on the far end, so I get in that lane. I'm waiting for a bit and one of the workers calls me over to the far lane behind an SUV even though that long line hasn't moved yet so I assume he knew it would move up sooner so I moved over to the far left lane. But then I just sit and sit and sit.. without any acknowledgment about my information or why i am there for. 20 mins goes by and notice the guy who came after me (who ended up taking my spot in the middle lane) gets asked for information. 5 mins later, he moves up and gets his oil change. Then he leaves and I am sitting still stuck behind the same SUV. Noticeable annoyed now that 20-25 mins have gone by, and I see the lane I was originally on (middle lane) moving like it was a Fast Pass lane at Disneyland. Finally, I am addressed and they give me just an oil change that I needed and I leave. The whole process took me over 45 mins on something that i thought would take 20 mins max. I can't say for sure that I will be visiting a Jiffy Lube again. Sucks because it was close to my place too. read more

I came here for an oil change. First of all there were only 2 workers at the location. Both ignored me as I parked infront of them and stood by the hood of my car. After 10 minutes one man asked me what I was here for and I said oil change. After running my vin number he said they don't carry my oil filter so my options were to either buy one myself and bring it to him or go somewhere else. After asking how much it would be if I brought him the filter he said $110. I drive a 2012 Mini Cooper. Ann oil change shouldn't be that expensive. read more

This place is hit or miss. Supposedly they open at 8 am but I've pulled up way past 8 and the place was closed. Like anything else, the employees can be ok or rude. I think most of us would be grizzled if we smelled oil in a hot environment all they long. Sometimes I get friendly service, and there's been times when I pulled up and been completely ignored and I drove away. Can't wait to get my Tesla and then it's bye bye Jiffy Lube. read more
