An amazing mechanic! The estimate was on point! Ejmin explained a contingency that could possibly cost more on the estimate but, luckily it didn't need it. I was impressed that he told me and even more impressed that he didn't try to install it anyway. That's integrity. And, the time estimate was more than it took. I had a valvetronic actuator replaced. I had it towed Wednesday and the estimate was ready later that day. I ok'd the work on Thursday and it was done Friday morning! I picked up the car today and drove it home. It actually seems like it has more power now (and I got my sport mode back!). So, A+ on response time, A+ on estimate/final cost, A+ on time frame for the repair! My girlfriend drives a BMW, and she's always been a dealer princess. Her engine mounts went bad, and the dealer wanted a ridiculous amount for a simple job and a week to fix. WHAT??? I found this shop by searching Yelp. I messaged this team asking for a quote; they were very responsive and provided a very fair estimate. She dropped off the car a few days later, and she was picking up the car on the same day!! The price quoted in my messages to this team was exactly what she paid. Although this isn't always case since other issues may pop up, it was nice to pay what we were quoted. This is the first time in her life she went to an independent shop. I couldn't be there with her to drop off the car due to work obligations, but she told me they were kind, respectful, and she felt very comfortable leaving her precious BMW with them. Started coming here early last year, and after bouncing around between the dealer and various indie's, I think I've found my shop. 2016 328i - have had spark plugs replaced, automatic transmission fluid drain & fill w/filter/pan/gasket service & most recently, coolant expansion tank replaced along w/coolant flush and refill. Prices are reasonable, the turnaround is quick, they have been able to fit me in with fairly short notice and EJ really takes the time to explain everything. He is fully transparent as far as what needs to be done, what can wait, gives a realistic prioritized maintenance timeline and game plan; without upselling unneeded services. The transparency is appreciated. End of the day you can tell he loves these cars and knows them inside and out. Wonderful service for my 4 series BMW. My check engine light was on and I needed to get a diagnostic check + repair. They were able to take a look at my car immediately and were very responsive. They didn't treat me any differently because I'm a woman or because I'm clueless about cars - which I really appreciate! They explained the process to me and made it easy to understand. They told me that they'd contact me 2 hours later and by then, they had called me to let me know what the repairs were and the cost, as well as when it would be done by. I had a last minute question about another issue with my car and they diagnosed it immediately (very, very knowledgeable about the issues with BMWs and the fixes needed) and did not push me for any services that I didn't need. My car was ready by the time they initially quoted me and the cost was what they quoted me too. They also let me know that I will likely need a new battery soon, but again, did not try to price gouge me or pressure me into anything. In fact, they charged the battery for me.
