I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this place is. Zareh (who goes by Z) is such a pleasure to work with. He's a master Mercedes mechanic and can literally do it all. I have a C43 and have had several very odd issues that he was able to work out without a hitch. Trust is everything when it comes to mechanics. I had a prepurchase inspection done for a Mercedes I was interested in buying being sold by MDK International. I'm in Arizona so as long as the inspection checked out, the car looked clean and I was going to make the 6 hour drive to get it. The gentlemen who handled the inspection was very nice and given the Yelp reviews, I figured was reputable. He did the inspection, told me about several minor mechanical issues he found but nothing major and when I asked if he thought the car was a good buy, he said yes which sealed my decision to drive 6 hours to Burbank. Now, let's be clear - this was a mechanical inspection only, not on paint/body but I made the point that I'd be making a long road trip several times. Long story short, I arrive to see the car and it had clearly been in a front end impact; panel gaps where way off, tabs on the fender and headlight were superglued (!). Yet there was no mention of that in the $150 inspection. So again, this gentlemen was very nice and I understand it was only a mechanical inspection but there's no way that he wouldn't have noticed this and could've easily given me fair warning and I ended up wasting an absolute ton of time and also the money on the inspection to end up declining to buy the car. In conclusion, get your pre-purchase inspection elsewhere. read more

A friend of mine recommended "Blue Star Auto" when my wife's car had an oil leakage for several month, she had taken her car to several mechanics and they had told her that a specific pipe and valve had to be changed. She had everything changed with a different mechanic, yet the leakage would start a few weeks later. When my wife took her car to "Blue Star Auto Care", Hamlet kindly listened to all the steps she had taken to fix the problem and the parts that had been changed. In addition she had explained to Hamlet that the car needed an oil change due to all the leakage as well. I took my Mercedes c230 Kompressor Sport to several places nearby and no one gave me the right diagnosis on the funny noise coming from under my car. The dealer even wanted to charge me $80 just to look at it and make a diagnosis! One place told me it was the right front lower control arm ($850 with labor). Another place told me i needed new shocks and that the tie rod was broken. Turns out it was the flex disc and the car was unsafe to drive and I could have died! Not only did Zareh give me the right diagnosis, he didn't overcharge me for the part (which was original). His service was reasonable and very fast too! I liked him so much, I brought it back for more work and will continue to be a customer for life. The other work was for a check engine light and he told me that if it came back on EVER, to just bring it back in. The light did come back on the next day, so I brought it back in the following week and he fixed it (again) for no additional fee. If you want honest, knowledgeable and thorough for your Mercedes mechanic, go see Zareh at Blue Star. As a single woman who feels like she needs a shower every time I have to deal with a car salesman or car mechanics, I'm so grateful that I found Zareh. I've always taken my 2008 C300 to my dealership for all my services. After a couple bad experiences, I finally decided to take it elsewhere. I found Blue Star Auto Care here on yelp and decided to get all my major repairs done. I knew what all the parts I needed replaced from a suggested repair list from my last dealer service. Reached out to Zee and the price was more than half the cost of the dealership and so I had everything replaced. Being a 2008 with 111,500+ miles on it, I expected to get a call saying to replace a lot of other things. Great service and great people! Zareh (AKA "Z") and the team really took care of me. I needed a shifter for my 2005 MB c240 4-matic. I was worried that my transmission was going bad. Z checked it out and assured me that it was only my shifter (demonstrates honesty). He had it ready the next day. Within that time he was also able to fix my A/C and steering wheel. Initially he thought a part was needed for my steering wheel but after he checked it out, he was able to fix it without ordering the part, saving me money (more honesty). It was my first time visiting, but definitely won't be my last. That's my shop 'til the wheels fall off (literally). Again, very honest, friendly, prompt, courteous, professional. My daughter and I were offered cold drinks (water, juice) and even a ride home after we dropped the car off. Oh and by the way, when I picked up my car, they had washed it. Great Service with Class! The owner has been so great with us since we bought our mercedes 2 yrs. ago we have taken it to him. While he has worked on our car overnight he had given us one of his mercedes to use while he serviced our car or had to repair it and had to wait for parts for 2 days! That is a wonderful way to give excellent customer service and considerate towards customers who have to get to work or take their kids to school. One time he had even went way out of his way when we had a problem with our car he drove to our apt.
