He explained that if we only replaced the tires, the new ones would wear out quickly too. On top of that, my car had been making a loud airplane-like noise while accelerating for the last couple of years, and Jerry diagnosed it as all four wheel bearings. Originally, the repairs were going to cost around $4,100 between the tires, struts, wheel bearings, and labor. My wife and I were overwhelmed because it was completely out of our budget. After my wife spoke with Jerry and explained our situation, he showed us something rare these days: genuine compassion. He worked with us, cut costs wherever he could, and barely charged us for labor just to help us out. He brought the total down to about $3,600.
