From the start, Mahmoud was incredibly communicative, calling me every day with updates (even if the update was there wasn't an update)! That level of consistency really stood out. He took the time to clearly explain what the issue was, what needed to be repaired, and how they planned to fix it, which gave me a lot of confidence. There were a few administrative steps that had to be approved before the car could be repaired, including an inspection to verify the work. Throughout the process, everything was handled professionally and transparently. At one point, an additional repair was recommended. There was absolutely no pressure, just a very fair quote, a clear explanation, and the space for me to decide what I wanted to do. The work itself was impeccable. Don't take your car here . I took my Range Rover with water pump issue . I took the original Part for him to install. Supposedly he said he changed it . But still had car issues. Than. I took it back and he changes and hose and some bracket and charged $1500. Few weeks later check engine light comes on . I see coolant all over engine . I took it again and he said he needed To change a hose than called back and said it's the water pump again. Very fishy . I paid over $2000 and nothing got fixed . I took the car to dealer and said water pump was never changed . Don't trust this place . Looks like money hole . read more

If I could give Yuval 0 stars, I would. I can't speak about wether or not his shop does good work, because I have never taken my car here. However, in May of 2022, he listed a car on Craigslist for sale - a 2005 Subaru Limited XT. After weeks of looking at other cars, I finally decided to check out Yuval's Subaru at his shop. Beautiful car, I was sold. I took out a loan from my bank to purchase the car. The day I test drove the car I was told by Yuval that the title and registration were not in his name. This was concerning. Yuval mentioned to me that the car was still under the previous owner's name. Than, Yuval told me that he would handle getting this all in my name for an extra $1k. Sketchy. I told him that I needed the paperwork to be current in order for me to proceed. Silence. Never got back to me. Didn't return my calls or texts. The next day he texts me saying "I lost interest when the deal became sketchy, good luck." Simply put, this dude is just trying to title jump and he's gaslighting me as if it's my fault. 1 star review for wasting so much of my time. If he's this dishonest about a car he is trying to sell... I can't imagine how honest he can be as a mechanic. read more

I remember the days when I had a BMW 2010 E60, Yuval would be so kind and give me a 50$ oil change at the time when regular oil change was 150$, As well as Carlos would help me and check the diagnostics on the car if I had any issues, haven't been there since 2021 since I have a new car with a warranty but the convenience was I always got a text from Yuval regarding the time for an oil change, and for a great price and as well as good mechanics!I'm glad to see this place is still kicking and in service. Outstanding service on my car as always! Only thing is I wish Yuval would've called me as soon as the problem was identified on my car and let me know if I'd like the work started on my car, giving me an option. I did voice I had a certain budget I could only spend (luckily they stayed within my limit). But, I had to call multiple times to see if they found out what was wrong. That's the only thing, other then that my car is working well, he did let me know that I'd need to bring my car in again, but I didn't feel forced that I needed to bring it in that next day, so I appreciate not being pressured into having to do service. So I went to Mercedes dealership at Encino to fix my brakes & I have been told it's impossible, and that I have to replace it all, the charges is $680 but I can't do only one I have to both sides OMG, I couldn't believe it. Now to have this experience! One of my friend recommend me to double check with someone he knows, name Yuval witch is the owner of BURBANK MOTOR WORKS, guess what??? It can be fixed. So Burbank motor works fixed it for me without replacing any parts!! It's hard to believe, the charges was $380 for both sides. Your totally off base and refuse to answer my emails. The issue you missed was nothing to do with the false repair claims needed, it was a pulley issue that tore up the tensioner and left the crew stranded. check engine light came on for my 2008 chevy colorado. took it to yuval. turns out it was some emissions sensor that needed replacing. had them do full service on truck & replace the horn. turns out i needed all new shocks/struts. they did all the work within 24 hrs using factory replacement parts. they say you only get 2 of the 3: good, fast or cheap. they definitely weren't cheap but then again, ya get wjat you pay for. rather spend a little more for great service & reliable work. will use again. i recommend calling in advance to make an appointment. their parking lot fills up fast. entrance is in the rear off the alley. read more

I left and price was a lot more than other places so I decided to not do it. When I came back to pick up truck he then said it would be $48 to check. I can not say enough wonderful things about Yuval and his quality service. My husband and I relocated to Burbank from Kentucky, 2 weeks ago and needed assistance getting our car off the trailer we had pulled on the 2,000+ mile trek. The car had to be jacked up and the process was more complicated than we could handle on our own. After reading reviews, I called Yuval and he was so welcoming and helpful. He encouraged us to come by when we got Into town. So our first stop was to Burbank Motor Works and Yuval and his team helped us out free of charge! We were blown away by the welcome to Burbank gesture! How incredible is that?! It turns out our car had slipped on the trailer as we were pulling it and the power steering line was severed by the chain. So I went to Burbank Motor Works to get a second opinion and they checked it for free and told me, in a nice way, that the work wasn't done well. This guy is a super nice man, I asked for a quote on hourly and he provided it, no fuss. I knew what I needed done and he didn't try to up sell me. Later in the day while he was working on the car he mentioned I needed to make some replacements, I was already thinking that was a possibility so no surprise. He gave me a decent price. All the work was done well. Highly recommend. One thing I would ask the staff is to watch the floor, when I drove off there was a clip that was embedded in one of my tires. My car had to much oil put into it and so I took it to a dealership. The dealership wanted to charge me $16,878 and so I towed it here after getting an estimate from the owner. Yuval (the owner) was so nice throughout and when he got my car he re evaluated the damages and found out that the Russell Westbrook Dodge Jeep dealership was totally scamming me. Yuval told me i needed new tires which was true and out the door I paid $3,800 including 4 brand new tires. When i picked up my car they already cleaned it as well. Terrible place, worst service!! Window passenger broke and i came in to replace it, estimate was fair so i give yuval(the owner) ok to do the work. I explained him that time is super important for me and he said it will take only two days to complete the work. I received my car after a week! Few days after i took it for car wash, apparently the window not closing all the way so water get in to my car. I came beck to yuval and he said the motor bad and need to be replace(why didnt you say that before?) Needless to say that i left the shop and took it to a different place to fix it. read more
