Aaron @ pit stop thank you sir ! You have helped to keep my car on the road daily for almost 2 years now. I wouldn't take my Cadillac anywhere else. If you have a classic that you drive daily, or any car for that matter I would highly recommend pit stop as they are very reasonable, knowledgeable and reliable.

Where do I start. I hate writing reviews. especially negative ones. I recently purchased a spacer leveling type lift to be installed on my SUV for just over $400 so that I could install some larger tires on my car. I asked pit stop if they would be able to install them and they said that it shouldn't be a problem. Once pit stop received my vehicle they determined that they had no idea how to do it. I'm not a mechanic but I am fairly mechanically inclined and believed them so I went ahead and ordered a full suspension lift kit for the vehicle for $1200 plus shipping. I'm not able to return the leveling kit once the box is opened since the company can't resell items the could have potentially been installed and uninstalled. Pit stop installed the lift kit I purchased and installed the new tires I had purchased for the vehicle (The tires were purchased after I made a specific trip over to pit stop to make sure that the tires I was ordering would fit). I received a call from pit stop once the car was "done" to go pick up the car. When I got to the shop I noticed the car wasn't lifted and that the front two tires were not able to fully turn left or right without tearing up the inside of my wheel wells in the front. All four tire sensors were also non functioning. (Aaron told me to just "take it down the street" to a separate mechanic so the he didn't have to deal with it.) The shop failed to realize that the springs I ordered were not lift springs but lowering springs. It cost me almost $1000 to have the kit installed. I finally looked at the stock suspension myself as it was out of the car and no longer on the vehicle and then looked at the original spacer lift that I had purchased for $400 and it took me about 3 minutes without any tools to put one of the spacers on one of the rear shocks where it was supposed to go. I sent aaron a photo of what I had figured out with no response. I have also asked him 5 separate times what it would cost to have new springs put on the lift suspension and he's yet to even get back to me. Side note: I also own an RV rental business and have been taking my fleet to this shop with it's previous owner for years. When aaron purchased pit stop from Ron he inherited their clientele as well. You'd think they would want to keep a regular customer happy. I have now taken my vehicle to a different mechanic and am in the process of swapping the aftermarket suspension out for the original suspension with the spacers installed. Some how not an issue for this other mechanic. This will also cost me $1000. My advice, take your vehicle somewhere else. Unless you enjoy completely wasting money and time. I'll leave this review up until they find a way to fix what happened. below is a picture of the original suspension with the spacer i installed after 3 minutes of tinkering. The second photo is a picture of the aftermarket suspension with what is clearly a spring that is too small for the shock. How they didn't know that this spring was too small is only reflective of their lack of experience.

When I called Discount Tire for another quote, Hayden answered the phone and spent several minutes walking you through my options, including things to consider like tire quality and price points. They ended up giving me a quote that was nearly half what the other Center was quoting me, plus for a good quality set of tires! They scheduled an appointment for me fairly quickly and on appointment day, I had some other errands to run so I wanted to stop by early to drop off my car. They said it was no problem at all and I swung by, dropped off my car with the incredibly friendly Tony, and received a phone call about 90 minutes later informing me my car was ready. Everything was in great shape and I'm pleasantly surprised by how smooth this experience was! Highly recommend if you need great service and efficiency.

Thank you, Discount Tire Centers, for making my crappy start to the day end up better. You've got a customer for life.

When I had my car serviced at my dealership, they said I had 2 tires with low tread, but suggested I go to a different store to get them cheaper. Here, one of the employees checked the treads, confirmed that at least one of them definitely needed to be changed and suggested that the others were nearing the time that they had to be changed as well. Since they were having a deal for 3 tires and I didn't want to come back in a few months, I just had all 4 tires changed. I read another reviewer say that there were shops nearby you could look around at, so instead of waiting in the waiting room, I chose to go out and wander. I'm glad I did because at the end of the block is 5 Points Park, so I just spent the next 1.5 hours sitting on the grass on my phone enjoying nature and the weather until I got a text back saying my car was ready. It came to $500 for 4 tires plus $100 for alignment which I was told is sometimes needed when the tires are changed. It's still a lot to pay for, but when I looked it up, those prices were reasonable and anything having to do with car repairs is going to cost a lot anyway. Overall, I was satisfied with the quickness in which I was helped and the honesty and reasonableness of the repairs and costs for them.

I placed my tire order through the Costco app and scheduled the installation for about a week or so later. Day of, I got there about an hour before they opened, as my appointment was for when they opened at 10a, and there was already a line about eight people deep. They opened early, around 9a, and by the time I got up to the counter to check in, about 9:15a, the man said he couldn't check me in and to come back when it was time for my scheduled appointment at 10. Seemed odd since they were taking walk in's, but I waited outside until about 9:45a and then got back in line figuring it would be about 10 by the time I would be at the front of the ever growing line. Finally got to the counter around 9:50a, and he checked me in, said it would be between 1 to 2 hours. I strolled through Costco for one hour and then got a text that my car was ready. I went back inside the Tire Center, but the guy was on the phone with a customer, but he motioned to go pickup my car around the side. I walked around, didn't see any area to get my car, and finally noticed my car parked outside in a space. I awkwardly walked up to the mechanics in the bay and asked where my keys were, and one guy asked for which car. I pointed to my car, he yelled at some guys and one came out with my keys. Overall, they ordered the right tires and installed them perfectly. No issues with the actual service. The customer service was... odd. Not bad, just not intuitive, or personable. Retrieving your car after service was the strangest part. Is there no system set up for this? Anyway, that's how it went, hope this helps someone else.

The new tires were affected by the shocks one of which required replacement. I had a warranty, but it doesn't seem to cover very much normal road damage. Next time I will work with American Tire Depot. They will match Costco prices and offer so much better service in Burbank.

I registered for service and had to wait 15 minutes to get someone to look at the car. The nice gentleman that came to us is named Antonio. Looked at all the tires and assessed the leaking tire. It was a screw in between the 2nd and 3rd tread so it really was only a patch job. But because our tires looked old, there was a concern that it may not be "repairable" and might necessitate a replacement so I was told to choose a tire in case it came to that. I told him I'm sure it's just a patch job but I chose one cause I didn't have a choice. Because of liability, if the tire was deemed unsafe they will not put it back on and the replacement becomes a must. I also asked to have air put in our spare because the TPMS was lit on the dash prior to the leaking tire. He told us it would about 2 hours before they could get to work on our car but it wouldn't take long once they got to it. My son was getting Hangry so I had to find somewhere he could get something to eat. After a while I got worried cause I haven't received a call and it was approaching 2 hours already so we headed back. When I got to the car I was surprised to see that a new tire was installed on the car without consulting with me. I went back in line at the counter and Antonio explained that something happened during the removal of the tire and it got damaged. Because it was their fault, they replaced the tire at no cost to me. I thought I still had some service charges for looking at our spare but he said they took care of that as well at no cost to me. Talk about taking accountability on behalf of the customer. Antonio was very cordial and professional about the whole thing. I really appreciate the service quality I received that when the time comes to replace 4 tires, we will get it from Antonio. Thank you so much!
