I am disappointed with this shop. I went after seeing good reviews.Although, I like the customer service from owner and the technician. I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years. read more

Story as old as time, straight out of the mechanic playbook. Very suspicious. I'd go elsewhere. EDIT since the owner responded. Please confirm ABS issue is completely unrelated to catalytic converter theft and purely coincidental and bad timing. If the ABS system was damaged, we would have preferred this be repaired under insurance, now it's too late for that. No issues for a couple weeks? Please confirm exact number of days. You mentioned doing catalytic converter repair will not fix every issue. We never had this issue before. Please reiterate/confirm that this issue is now new and completely purely coincidental timing. read more

Went in for a smog check and to get a look at my weak air conditioning. The last place I went to said my air conditioning was as good as it will get unless I replace the entire thing. My truck is over at the dealership and they are trying to fleece me on a repair and refusing to cover under warranty. I called PA to get a quote to see if I could save some money. Guy I spoke with told me, "What? That's stupid, they should cover it under the warranty. Call corporate and complain!" That is awesome. Rather than just try to get a few bucks from me he explained to me what to do to get the manufacturer to cover the repair through the dealer. That is honesty that I appreciate. Wow! Leaving Precision I am left speechless! About a month ago I was rear ended by the rudest employee from DWP. I gave Joe a call, as about a year ago he had inspected some used cars I was looking to buy. He answered immediately and as a first time accident he gave me a run down on what to do. A week later I dropped my car off to him and about 2 -3 weeks he had it fixed up and ready for the road! My insurance was definitely looking to total this but Joe knew I desperately wanted to keep this car as it has sentimental value and buying a car these days is no easy feat. I was $80 away from totaling but he worked his magic and got the insurance to say yes and he went to work. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it! He had it all washed up and even inside was the cleanest Id seen it in a long time. It looks brand new and honestly feels like it drives better than before! The high pressure AC line in my 2017 Nissan Rogue had rubbed up against the bumper and eventually caused a hole in the line and Freon to leak resulting hot air coming out of my AC during one of the hottest week in LA.
