Purchased two Continental tires for the rear wheels of my BMW 535i. Good price and installation was good. My only concern was the wheel balancing for all 4 wheels and the 4 wheel alignment. The free wheel balancing was okay, but the ride was a but bit rough, especially at high speeds. The 4 wheel alignment was also okay because I saw the tech person pull it out of the stall and parked the car. He did not do a test drive. My Bimmer drove okay, but it didn't track. So I wasn't confident that the wheel alignment was properly done. I recently remedied the concerns by having the 4 wheels rebalanced and had a 4 wheel precision alignment done at another shop. Now my Bimmer tracks and rides really smooth... For tires purchase, this place is great.. But for tire services, from my experience, I would recommend to go somewhere else... read more

Need a new set of 4 tires they don't usually stock? They'll order and get you installed the next day! They close at 5pm and usually have a 4pm cut off to start service but they were super nice and changed all 4 tires of my wife's car when I arrived around 430pm. I was out of there by 450pm. Visited Tire Central based off the strong Yelp reviews. Had good experience as I was just getting set of tires mounted/balanced. FYI, the current charge is $40/tire if u bring outside tires. Seemed reasonable but it's been a few yrs since I've had to do this and remember the days when it was like $20-25/wheel. Tip: try to go in the morning. I got there at 11am and was told it'd be ~1 hr. I got a screw in my tire and brought it yesterday to Discount Tires for a patch and they said they would not patch it because the tread was too low and that it was time for new tires. I took my car to Tire Central today, a few minutes after they opened. They ask for my phone number and keys. Absolutely outstanding service!!! i just needed to get new tires installed on some super rare SSR wheels (circa 1992). i defintely wanted the utmost care when getting this done. Ive heard of horror stories, and i didnt want to be one of them. Went to Tire Central after making an appointment. Made sure to let the tech know, that these were my 1st set of Legit real wheels ever. He knew the assignment and took extra care of the mounting the tires to each of the rim. After that, made sure that my wheel studs were good to go! i had 1 that was giving him issues. so he took about 5min extra just to make sure that the studs were clean and ready. I came in on a Friday around 1PM since my top right tire pressure went all the way down to 11 psi. They were able to replace my tire, rotate them, and fill the rest up with air all within an hour! I noticed my other tires were at 29-31psi but when I picked it up it was all at 35+ which was a pleasant surprise! Recently my car suddenly had low tire pressure light coming on and all of my local air and water pump machines at gas stations don't come with pressure gauges. I did a quick Yelp search and discovered that Tire Central performs inspection on Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). There are three locations (San Gabriel, Pasadena, and Arcadia) and I decided to come to the San Gabriel branch for a walk-in visit. I came at 10:45 AM and was surprised to see quite a bit of customers waiting for their cars. After I parked my car within the tight lot, I walked into Tire Central's office and told the receptionist about my car's low tire pressure light. He said the shop is really busy right now and it will take 2+ hours to complete my request. I handed over my key, gave him my phone number & name, and went back home (I used a ridesharing app). At 12 PM, I got a text message from a mysterious number stating "CAR IS READY". I came back to the shop at 1:30 PM and the receptionist said no issues with my tires, but they indeed had low pressure at 20 psi and pumped them back up to 32 psi. I asked how much for the service and I couldn't believe what I heard from him ... "It is free." I was left speechless and in amazement.
