Dude came down and fixed my rear passenger rim after I scraped it on the curb. I knew I had to get my baby fixed so looked up rim repair and saw Alex Fix Wheels with all 5 star reviews. Pics showed this guy knows his stuff and he drives a clean beautiful truck. Well pictures speak for themselves. Highly recommend. Pics before repair show a black ink that I purchased on Amazon. Alex is very responsive and he works extremely quickly with high quality. He came out to my house in Rancho both times within a day of scheduling. Both times the rims had some damage that looked unfixable to the untrained. Im seriously amazed by the workmanship, speed, and affordability. Both incidents (3 separate wheels) were caused by Valet. I thought we were looking at $3k in wheel replacements. 2x wheels were pretty deep gouges, Alex showed up and in 15min. I cant find the damage. Crazy good. read more

I had pretty bad curb rash and was split between two companies to go with, Alex Fix Wheels and Dr. Wheels (my mom used them for her Red Tesla Model 3). Alex Fix Wheels came in about $120 lower than Dr. Wheels for all four rims and I'm extremely happy with the outcome. My Black Tesla Model 3 Rims look brand new and Alex is extremely talented at what he does. His wife who was with him is very kind as well and was a great translator. I'm personally going to use Alex Fix Wheels next time for all my needs, he's a one man shop compared to Dr. Wheels that has multiples techs so you know that Alex quality is on point. This is why my husband doesn't let me drive his car ‍ because I accidentally hit a curb and scratched his rim so either i replaced it or fix it which is why I hired Alex. His work is impeccable. I was visiting San Diego for the weekend and curb kissed the passenger rear rim while making a u turn. Really sucked since the GLE coupe is only nine months old. On Monday morning I e-mailed the local Mercedes Dealership for a price and lead time to repair the rim. Not wanting to waste time and go thru the hassle. Yelp came to my rescue, where I discovered Alex Fix Wheels. Located in the city of Downey, mobile and will service you at your residence or place of employment. I Lucked out because Alex in was in I reside in that morning and finishing a repair on a Tesla. I communicated via text with pics of my damaged rims and vehicles in need of repair and we agreed on a price. Alex arrived within an hour. His truck equipped with a floor jack, air compressor, tools and materials to complete my job. All Alex needed was an electric hook up to run the compressor. Alex completed the repair within a few hours and my damaged rims now look brand new! I can't even see where they were damaged. I needed to keep them dry for 48 hours to cure - but it was such a simple process. I'll never go to the dealer again for wheel repair, since I suspect they sub contract these repairs to shops and just double to triple the price. Save yourself time, hassle, money and call Alex! A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. The repair came out great and it took around two days. Tony came to my house and picked up the wheel. Unfortunately the paint correction did not match the rim and also my tire was leaking where the repair was made (it wasn't leaking even when the rim was dented). So I contacted Tony again to see what he can do. He said the paint came off the machine and that's what it analyzed it as and was willing to do it again so I said sure since the paint came out black instead of blue. He also offered to check on the tire and rebead the seal. So he picked up the wheel again, and this time it took almost two weeks to be done with the repair and this was only the tire portion. He advised that the paint correction would take another couple of days. Honestly just wanted the wheel back since I was out of a car for two weeks already and who knows how much longer it would take to get the wheel back. He came and dropped it off and installed the wheel and the tire is holding air for now, but he did recommend me to just get a new tire if it leaks again which I will do. This time though, when I got the wheel back, it had a new chip near the center which wasn't there before from the original pick up nor the first repair. As far as value and convenience of picking up and delivering goes, I'd say it's fair and beats the competitors. Otherwise, I wasn't too thrilled about the repair. Update: Bumped up one star since tire repairs aren't part of their job description and Tony went out of his way to do it. Leaving it 3 stars due to paint issues and poor communication where I have to ask for updates every couple of days.

Scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment the following Saturday morning. I dropped off my car and took a walk to a nearby café to have breakfast while they worked on it. They also have a nice air-conditioned waiting room if you prefer to wait on-site. I returned about 90 minutes later, and waited while they finished up. I take great care of the car, but every time they're done with it, it looks better than day one off the dealer floor. Steve informed me that the PPF and ceramic coating was in great shape. He also educated me that the ceramic coating on the hood wears faster than the rest of the car. They re-coated the hood for no extra charge. What service! Again, I left Elevance very happy with my initial choice to have them apply everything and returning annually for their customer only inspection and detail service. Steve and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. If you need PPF, wrapping, ceramic coating, or window tint, check out my previous reviews and go with Elevance!

However, the more I continue to see all the errors and defects on my vehicle the more dissatisfied I feel about the results. There are multiple areas crinkling and bunched up, even right after my wrap and more so now down the line. I've added some photos for reference but there are waaaay more I'm not posting that I'd like to count. My biggest issue that has been on my mind to this day is that my cars mileage increased 30 miles from when I initially dropped it off. I brought this issue up to Steve and he explained it's because they did my wheels, the body work, and test drove it but thirty miles is excessive in my opinion. One of his workers I feel definitely took my car for a joy ride and perhaps Steve is covering for them. The mileage doesn't bother me, it's the negligence, irresponsibility, and disrespect for my property of whoever drove my car. Again, Steve has been responsive since day one but his staff (who worked on my vehicle) on the other hand fell very short of the quality and expectations his shop seems to give out through their platforms. I feel like I was one in the hundreds of people who had a really bad job done. No one is perfect and I'm just that one mistake of a customer, unfortunately. All in all, zero stars for the wrap job and 3 stars for Steve's efforts and customer service and 4 stars for the body work and wheels. However, I would recommend to keep an eye on your odometer when you drop it off since it seems like his employees might have an inclination to have some fun when no one is looking or when the "test drive" is being done. I have a camera in my vehicle but when I checked it someone disconnected it almost immediately after dropping it off according to the time stamps. Little sus to me. Thank you, Steve for your kindness and doing your best to resolve each issues you may not have had your hands on directly but if I could truly resolve my dissatisfaction (especially for the money I paid) I'd prefer to redo my wrap in all the area it was defective.

Alex is the MAN! You can't help but always want to write a review for not only hardworking but skilled guy like this. I needed rims fixed on both my Tesla Model Y and Model 3 which of course is because how easy it is to scratch them. Long story short, I've pretty much gotten quotes from everyone around town and Alex was by far the most competitive in terms of price. I didn't have to worry too much about the quality because there are enough reviews/photos here to validate his skill and quality. As everyone else mentioned, Alex was super responsive via Yelp messaging. I messaged him Monday late afternoon and he was here on Tuesday noon for service. He did run a bit late because he had some issues with his compressor he needed to get fixed but he let me know beforehand that he'll be running late. No problem for me because I just wanted to get my rims fixed. Highly recommend Alex for handling your rims. Mine were pretty badly scraped but he had no problem bringing them back to new status. He rolled in like a boss in his truck, quietly did his magic, and left within 2 hours. 5 rims in 2 hours is impressive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.
