I got a nail in my tire and tried to fix it with a DIY repair kit. However, while doing the repair, I discovered there were additional nails in the tire, so it was best to replace it. Since I bought the car used and hadn't changed the tires before, I decided it was a good time to replace all four. I started searching for an affordable shop with good tire pricing. After extensive online research and calling a few shops for quotes, I came across Pasadena Tire Pros. They gave me a quote over the phone for Pirelli tires, and based on my research, there was also a manufacturer rebate available. I asked whether they would honor the rebate, and they said they needed to check and would get back to me. A few days later, I received a call confirming that they would accept the rebate. That made the price very attractive, so I went in right away to get the tires replaced. The entire process took about 1.5 hours, and I spent the time walking around the area. Everything went smoothly, and Henry took great care of us. I would definitely recommend Tire Pros for your tire needs--be sure to ask for Henry. He's very friendly and easy to work with. read more

Service here is 5 star and above, Henry is extremely knowledgeable. He always makes sure you feel like you are the only customer he has when he is helping you when in fact there are numerous people waiting. The majority of his customers are regulars, they walk in say what they need hand him the keys and return when the service is finished. I drive from Huntington Beach and would never consider looking for another shop to do my maintenance, repairs, or to purchase new tires. Several years ago I went to a shop close to my home in Glendora, for all the repairs they said I needed it was $8,000.00, I shared the story with my best friend and her husband said go see Henry. Henry did the work at a much more reasonable cost and the rear view mirror is small for a reason, I have never looked back. I recommend him to everyone I know. His crew is just as amazing. Thank you Henry and to all of your guys. read more

Absolute TRASH! I called yesterday to get an estimate on a 150,000 mile tune up for my car.He said I have to bring it in so they can look at it in order to make an appointment. Weird but ok. So I have a 10 am appointment today. I go in, the man tells me they don't do 150,000 mile tune ups because that's all bs from car dealerships and doesn't really need to do all that. And said if he did everything the car manual suggests for 150,000 miles, it would cost me $6-7,000 dollars. Yes thousands. Without a single thing wrong with it. He said they do a complete inspection and let me know what's needed so it's not so expensive. That is NOT how you keep an old car running well, by ignoring the tune ups. I had already had a computer read out of a few codes I wanted them to check out and he said they would. Just leave the car with them for 3 hrs and they'd call me when it was ready. So I did. That was at 10 am. At 5:00 pm I still heard nothing and knowing they close soon, I caught an uber and went to see what's up. My car wasn't there, he said the mechanic was test driving it and that they found nothing wrong and just cleared the codes without checking on them because it's too difficult to get to the things they'd have to look at. And the check engine light wasn't on so that means it's fine. WTF?!?! I NEEDED A 150,000 tune up! Never gave me a price, told me my car ran fine I should be happy. I already knew it ran fine, I brought it for a friggin TUNE UP estimate!! Why are they all so stupid?!?! Needless to say, the mechanic brought my car back, handed me the keys, and I left. Not a single word was said so gawd knows what all they fvcked with but I know it wasn't right driving home. You can feel confident in knowing these stars are LIES, this place is garbage, and you will get screwed. read more

Came in for a brake and maintenance light check--left with a $7,000 estimate that didn't even mention either issue. I had high hopes, since we previously had a smooth oil change here and the location is super convenient. Henry and the tech I spoke with were polite and respectful. Before they even looked at the car, I told Henry I was on a tight budget. But the estimate they gave me included around $7,000 worth of work--most of which I hadn't asked for and wasn't essential. The maintenance light and brake check, which were the reasons I came in, weren't even mentioned on the printed or emailed estimate. I had to specifically ask about them, which left me wondering whether they'd actually been checked. When I came back to the shop to discuss the estimate, Henry said there was no brake issue and that I just needed an oil change--but again, that wasn't in the estimate either, and only came up when I asked. That made me question if the inspection had been thorough at all. Also, I had just gotten a synthetic oil change about 3,000 miles ago, with a 5,000-mile interval--so I'm still not sure if the maintenance light was even about the oil. To be fair, once I expressed that the $7,000 total was more than my car might be worth, Henry removed the non-essentials and brought it down to around $2,500. There was no pressure to proceed, and I appreciated that. But if I hadn't spoken up, the quote wouldn't have changed. I did need new tires, but I found better ones at Costco--installed--for $285 less than what was quoted. Oddly, after I left, my car started making a loud humming noise and vibrating when the AC was on high--something it had never done before. My mom noticed it too, even without me saying anything. I brought it back, and the tech quickly found and removed a mouse nest behind the cabin air filter at no charge, which resolved the issue. That was a generous gesture, and I appreciated how quickly they addressed it. But I'm still confused--why wasn't that vibration there before the visit? And how could a mouse nest cause such a loud vibration only when the AC was turned up--and why that's the only place they checked? On the advice of three friends who know cars well, I'm getting a second opinion at a trusted independent shop. I believe they've helped a lot of people, and I appreciated the friendly staff. But based on my experience, I left feeling uneasy and uncertain whether my priorities had really been heard--or fully checked. For that reason, this was a 2-star visit for me. read more

I went in this morning, without an appointment, asking if they would look at my tire. It had something that looked like a thick paper clip stuck in the tire. The guy inside the office was very nice and friendly and said he would look at it. He pulled it out and brought it to me to see. He said it was not stuck in very deep but if I was willing to wait, he'd patch it up. He did and was so gracious about it! I highly recommend this business. Thank you Pasadena Tire Pros. read more

Thank you is not enough for how gracious and helpful Pasadena Tire Pros were to me. After a bad hit and run accident, we needed a rental car. The morning after getting the rental- the tire light came on. I was on my way to an event, and asked them to check the pressure. When they did, they saw there was a puncture, from an object still in the tire. Not only did they take care of me, but they surprised me when it came time to pay. Everyone I dealt with here helped make a challenging time brighter, and I'm so grateful. read more

The oil change service is unbelievably bad and crazy. On the manual book of my car, the requirement of engine oil is 0W40, but this place used 5W30 instead which does not fit my car at all. Additionally, this place charged me $39.99 per quarts for engine oil, which is way too overpriced, normally 5 quarts won't even worth $39.99. Can you believe changing engine oil costs 600 dollars? I thought this place will treat luxury car with a serious attitude, instead what they did is using the wrong engine oil and extremely over charge. read more

My tire is 2023 it will be expired in 2028, my girlfriend went in with our car, and the shop pressured her into replacing all 4 tires. They told her the tires were "expired" and unsafe to drive on, scaring her into agreeing. They charged us $775 for 4 new tires. When I went back to speak with the manager, Henry, he said my girlfriend had agreed to the service. But the truth is, she only agreed because the staff insisted the tires were dangerous. This is a classic scam tactic -- taking advantage of customers' lack of technical knowledge. Dishonest practices Overpriced service Pressure and fear tactics Please stay away from this place and protect yourself from being taken advantage of! read more

I developed a slight ticking noise in the left front wheel and I stopped and Henry checked the sound and determined that the wheel bearing needed replacing. Henry gave me an estimate for parts and labor which I felt was very reasonable and returned the next day and he had his mechanic replace all four bearings in the right and left front wheel assemblies. This is on an F350 Ford truck chassis. I watched his mechanic do the work and I was very impressed with his old school rolling toolbox which had every tool right within his reach and he did not have to go back-and-forth to get tools like many mechanics do that aren't fully prepared! I could tell by watching him that he knew exactly what he was doing and this was not the first time he had worked on heavy truck front end suspensions! I could tell that he knew exactly what he was doing and he was constantly wiping and cleaning as he worked something that I have never witnessed in such professionalism! As usual, I am once again extremely satisfied with the workmanship that I saw and the very reasonable pricing that Henry charged! I would recommend Tire Pros without reservations and when I need heavy truck work done I will return to Henry! read more

As the song goes ... walking in LA, nobody walks in LA. We need our cars, and Henry and Tarek know their cars. They treat you fairly and reasonably, no frills, just honesty, which is hard to find these days in the auto repair world. They don't up charge and tell you to get the fancy things, just the things and service you need. Even though they are a tire shop, they do it all, and what they can't do, they will recommend another reputable shop. Henry is very nice and helpful when I called him. My daughter got a flat so I had her take it to him to fix. When she got there, he greeted her immediately. He recommended that we change all the tires in the next couple of months. He gave me a quote, the services included and the grade. Also, he fixed the flat for free since we were going to get new tires from him. My daughter dropped off the car on Monday morning and it was done in several hours. He texted my daughter two days later to see if all was well. She said that the warning light for tire pressure was still on. He told her to bring it by and said that she needed to drive more miles so the system will adjust to the new tires. Sure enough, the light turned off five days later. Henry puts the personal touch that earned my business for life. It's nice to know honest mechanics still exist. I'm highly recommend this place. read more
