Great quick service thanks to Sandy! She is awesome and we got to Vegas safely! Try them out. read more

Great service and good communication! Melquis, Lee, Diego and Manuel were very clear spoken and professional. Did I need synthetic oil? I don't know, but I decided to go with it. There was no pressure, but the place is a chain so I think they will always put out the idea of an upsell, but that's how chains are. I didn't mind and didn't take everything, but I felt like the employees were also really helpful and straightforward. I was always a Jiffy Lube person, but now I am switching to this place. read more

You hear stories and you see things about quick oil changes and quick lube places but I can say this place so far I have come it has been great be sure to look for online coupons sign up for their text message promotions so that you can get a slight discount off your services they can get busy at Peak time so Waits can vary tremendously but if you go early or if you go when they're not that busy it's pretty quick and be sure you reset your maintenance light that's probably one of the most annoying things to see on your dashboard but all in all they are very efficient they do a great job and you will get your car service properly read more

This location is amazing. The service is top notch and fast! Melquis was a huge help and very informative.

Got my oil changed here and it was VERY FAST. I have gone to other quick change places and it always ends up being an hour. I feel like. This was legit 15 minutes in and out. read more

Wow - super friendly and super efficient! Like a Indy pit stop. Oil change, tire rotation, alignments and fluids topped off all in less than 30 mins! They also replace windshield wipers and some lights if needed. And you stay inside your car! I usually do the dealership but decided to try valvoline which was very impressive. The team here works like clockwork and is very friendly. Alex and the team were awesome! It's hard today to find that service that makes America proud but this team here brings it back! read more

Valvoline Instant Oil Change - Drive thru oil change - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Pasadena, California

I visited your location today during my lunch break for a routine oil change. What was supposed to be a quick service ended up taking much longer due to a mechanical error. Shortly after leaving the property, I noticed my engine began shaking -- an issue that was not present before the service. I immediately returned to the location and reported the problem. I was initially told it was an engine misfire, then that it might be my air filter. The employee then suggested I take the vehicle to my own mechanic. When I explained that the engine was running smoothly before the oil change, I was again encouraged to leave and handle it elsewhere. After requesting to speak with a manager, the technician who had performed the service finally inspected the vehicle and identified the problem: the oil cap (oil capsule) had not been properly secured. This oversight caused a significant inconvenience and disrupted my schedule. While the technician who worked on my vehicle did apologize once the issue was discovered, the original employee I dealt with showed no accountability, offered no apology, and made no effort to resolve the situation. read more

Valvoline Instant Oil Change - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Pasadena, California

Hello! I am being honest, I was a little hesitant when my husband wanted to take my car to Valvoline for an oil change. From the moment we got there, I noticed how organized, happy, and how everyone worked well together. I was very impressed with additional services they offered. I got my window wipers changed, tire rotation and tire pressure. Thank you to Liam and Alex for your assistance and for leading such a great team. I also want to share something minor, as I was driving on the freeway my Tire Pressure Monitoring System alert turned on. I was able to go the Valvoline in West Covina- thank you Ulysses, Hector and Vanessa for your great customer service and checking my Tire pressure and resetting my TPMS. With all this being said, I highly recommend Valvoline team in Pasadena and West Covina. Thank you! See you next oil change! read more

I've been coming here since I first started driving and have no plans on going anywhere else. Even when I've moved to other cities, I still go to Valvoline, and all of them have given me great experiences. I've had oil changes, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, and air filters done because the price isn't that bad and it's just so convenient. I figure I might as well get it done while I'm there instead of never going in somewhere else. The staff at this location are always very helpful and I never feel pressured to purchase any additional services unless I need them. They will ask if you'd like them done but are transparent about the recommended time frames. My questions are always answered if I have any, and it's always fast service. read more

This review is for Alex and Emily for the quick and easy service today! I've been a loyal Valvoline customer to this Pasadena location for a few years now and I've always had a good experience here. Highly recommend for your next oil change! read more

Great service. Everyone was very attentive and no steps were skipped. Thank you guys for your service.

Went in for an oil change and she asked if I wanted to have the tires rotated I opted to do it. After the oil change was finished I was told that because all four of my tires were so under on air pressure around 25 psi when the should be 32 or 33 psi, the supervisor on duty suggested that I might some kind of leak in all four tires and they couldn't perform the rotation. Now it sounded pretty outlandish but I had just watched them do a rotation on the car that was ahead of me in line, they also added air to the tires. So of course I said ok I will look into it, paid, and left. I checked the pressure of all 4 tires the next morning using my personal pressure gauge, they were all fine. Checked again using the gas station gauge less than 5 minutes from my house and they were fine there as well. Finally took it to a different gas station the next morning less than a mile from my house just in case, and again they were fine. By fine I mean all around 32 psi. One was actually over at about 33 1/2... Anyway, as someone that commutes 3 hours round trip a day to work, from Pasadena to the high desert, I typically monitor things like my tires, headlights, brake lights, windshield washer fluid, etc. So I wasn't surprised they were fine. After not seeing an issue I chalked it up to either their equipment was broken, or they were just too busy. I had waited more than 30 minutes to get in myself and the lines kept growing even after my car was being worked on. I ended up hoping it was just a lie because they were busy also, because like I said before, I had seen them rotate and air up the tires of the car in front of me, and most people hopefully understand how dangerous it is to drive around on tires that are not properly pressurized. So I was annoyed that they probably lied due to being busy but just figured whatever I still got the oil change and I have no issues with my tires. Well that's what I thought until my car suddenly went into limp mode, with the EPC, and battery light illuminating 45 minutes into my commute to work one morning a couple of weeks ago. Now I didn't know what was wrong with it but it's pretty nerve wracking to suddenly lose the ability to accelerate while in the fast lane during your morning drive. Had my car towed to the dealership here in Pasadena, and found out my car had next to no oil in it, and the oil that was in it was so thick they said there was no way it was new. Also, due to the lack of oil it wasn't properly lubricating what it was supposed to which had cause damage to a sensor along with other areas that needed to be cleaned. I told him I just had it changed less than two months ago 8/24 to 10/14 and he was shocked given the condition the oil was in. Now I do drive a lot but it had only been around 5000 miles and and my car can go to 10,000, and I usually get an oil change between 5 and 8000. I have never had a problem and have had the car for 12 years and have put just over 100,000 miles on it. Anyway, $1000 later for the service alone and I am back on road and have decided I will never go back to Valvoline for an oil change again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else either! Also, I will post the receipts just so you can see for yourself. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. UNLESS YOU WANT A CAR THAT STOPS WORKING THEN THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE. If I can give negative stars I would. As a matter of fact I would rate it a black hole, since black holes eat stars. I brought my wife's car here for a simple oil change. A couple days later, the car wouldn't turn on anymore. Long story short, $1200 to fix it. I thought it was weird because the car is not old nor has a lot of miles, under 50k. I didn't think much of it until a few months later I brought my sister in law's car here for a simple oil change again. The same day the check engine light came on and the car rattled when turning on. I realized both cars issues were probably related to Valvoline. I took the car back and asked them to check it, and all they said was "take it to a mechanic". The car is currently at the dealer right now, probably gonna have to spend over $1000 again. Thanks for not caring! Happy holidays to me read more

Fast and friendly service! Don't forget to use the coupons off yelp to help with the cost.

Just got my oil changed and had a great experience! This was the first time coming to this place and I could not be happier. The service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly and made the process super easy. I was greeted by Alex, the store manager, who explained the whole process in detail. I appreciate how nice everyone was. In addition to Alex, I want to recognize the rest of the staff: Christian(manager), Nick, Manny, Melquis, and Alexis. I will definitely bring my car back for my next service -- highly recommend! read more

My daughter now has a profile with them and they keep track of all the work that's been done and needs to be done. Oil change, wipers, turn lights, filters - all needed. I know I would've spent a lot more somewhere else. Thank you ALL! read more

Valvoline Instant Oil Change - Here's the oil leak in my driveway.... - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Pasadena, California

Stopped by to get an oils change on my new car today and was super impressed and very thankful for the honest service. I had just hit 3000 miles and am used to getting an oil change every 3000 miles on my old car. They told me it was too soon, that I didn't really need it but would be happy to check my oil levels. They did and they were right I did not need. While I was there they topped off my fluids and checks my tired pressure and filled my low pressure tires complimentary. I am so appreciative for their kindness and honesty service. I will definitely be back when it is time for that oil change. Thank you! read more
