Thank you so much Arcadia Ultimate Automotive, you guys rock! read more

This review is long overdue. Just for context, I have been a customer at Arcadia Ultimate Automotive for nearly 35 years. The only cars I have ever owned are Hondas. I know, Hondas are not the sexiest of cars, but they are affordable, reliable, well-made, and practical. For someone like me, that's just fine. I have the simplest of tastes. If you're looking for a place to have your Honda serviced, look no further than Arcadia Ultimate Automotive. Owner Jeff is someone I would entrust with my life. He is the epitome of honesty and integrity. His prices are fair, and most importantly, he will not sell you parts or services you don't need. He will take the time to explain his "diagnosis" of the car's issues, and will lay out a clear plan for maintenance, service, or repair. In all the years I have known Jeff, I've been so impressed how much he values his customers. He gives his customers the absolute best. His integrity is unmatched and he values transparency and truth. And his knowledge /expertise of Hondas (as well as Acuras) is elite. Jeff's wife, Terri, has always provided us with friendly and timely customer service. Jeff's staff, in particular Roman, is an absolute pleasure to work with. Of all the reviews I've done on Yelp, I can say without a doubt that this review is solid as a rock. The fact that I've been going to Ultimate Automotive or over 30 years and have referred countless Honda owners speaks volumes. If you're a Honda person like me, go see Jeff! He will take excellent care of you. read more

Great shop! I was recommended by family. Roman is the Man. Honest. Helpful. Fair. I highly recommend Arcadia Ultimate Auto. read more

Went in for an oil change and arrived early before my appointment. I met a long-term employee "Tom" and after speaking to him for a bit, he recommend I perform a transmission oil change and a few other minor things services. My vehicle has a bit over 180K miles on the it and since performing the item Tom recommended, it's never ran better. I can't thank you enough Tom and Arcadia Ultimate Automotive! You've been always amazing to me and I thank you so much for caring for my vehicles and for having GREAT service and Employees like Tom to help me and your customer base - thank you!!!! read more

Have been taking all my car maintenance from My Hondas and last my Subaru. They always keep you up to date on what's going on with your car and the needed service. No up selling which is pretty rare nowadays. Keep it up guys read more

This shop is great! Fast, efficient and clean. They have been established for along time and I can see why. Jeff and Roman kept me informed on my repairs. They finished the job faster than I thought and at a great rate. They went above and beyond my expectations. This was my first experience with them and it will not be my last. I highly recommend them. Great service, great quality, great value, great people read more

Great service, prices were fair, and they are very reliable. Ten times better than dealer.

I've been bringing my cars to them throughout the years and they are not only affordable but they're also very efficient. Downside is they're closed on the weekends read more

The best service and mechanics in the world! Been bringing my car here forever and it hasn't had any issues since.

Business must be very good when you claim to be a Honda specialist, but turn away customers who need the engine mounts replaced on their (checking notes) Honda Accord because "we don't work on those cars." read more

I was having problem with my car battery. I called 2 Honda dealerships and also Arcadia Ultimate Automotive. AUA was the only one of the 3 to call me back. I will use them in the future. read more

I've been a customer for about 15-20 years. I realized I had not given this team a review and wanted to as my recent service was truly perfect. You'll see I don't give reviews often but this review is well earned and overdue. I took a Ridgeline with 160K miles and for the last 3 years it's received poor mpgs. They recommend a tune up and major service. I was skeptical at best such would help but my truck has never ran better and I went from 22 mpg to 28 mpg... that's a significant improvement! Thank you Arcadia Ultimate, you have helped me once again... let alone 4 months back when Honda couldn't diagnose the problem, you did and it was only a $150 part needing replacing... you've been ultimate and I'm very thankful for your ultimate/great service. Thank you read more

Called and scheduled an appt for an oil change on a Thursday afternoon and they could see me the next morning! I appreciate the business was very responsive and upfront with the whole process. Before making the appt they told me what the cost would be and how long it would take. They stuck to their word too! Love that the business has friendly workers and is within walking distance of the metro, businesses and other things in Arcadia. Definitely will be back! read more

My son visited us overnight from Arizona and his engine light came on. I went to Arcadia Ultimate without an appointment and asked if they can check the car and see if it was safe to drive back to Arizona. Tony was kind and welcoming and checked his car and didn't even charge. I'm so grateful for his kindness and generosity and this mama got the peace of mind she needed. Thank you so much, Tony! We will be back ! read more

This shop is amazing. I feel like no job is to big or to small. We have a 2019 Honda Civic that had a cracked transmission case. They were able to save me $2500 compared to my local Honda dealer. They only use OEM parts and take the time to describe the entire job. They are my new go-to for all things Honda from oil changes to overhauls. read more

This is my go-to car repair shop. I extensively reviewed Yelp before coming here, given many prior shady car repair places I had been to before, and Roman and Jeff are both amazing and honest which is what I wanted. Great place for minor and some major repairs, and oil changes and car maintenance. It's very telling when they have so many Christmas cards and letters from their clients in their office- they are a part of the community, and a definite great find! read more

I've been going to Ultimate Automotive for over 30 years. I wouldn't let anyone else work on my cars. Years ago a local Toyota dealer said that I needed over $750 repairs to my car because of acid corrosion that my battery caused. I drove directly to Ultimate Automotive and Jeff look at the battery. Jeff cleaned the connections off, checked everything around it and said that nothing was wrong with it and sent me on my way. I have 1000% confidence in Ultimate Automotive and have recommended numerous people to them. If you want a HONEST automobile repairman and reasonable prices ... You must go to Ultimate Automotive on 1st Ave., in Arcadia, CA. TRY THEM, YOU'LL LOVE THEM. read more

This is a small business located just up the street from 24 Hour Fitness in Arcadia, CA. The owner is a very informative individual, who doesn't try to sell you on products that you don't need. Rather, he gives his honest opinion and won't persuade you to purchase anything additional like some other shops do. I would recommend this location to anyone with a vehicle in the Honda, Acura, Toyota, or Lexus family. Oh! They also have a free oil change service via a "refer-a-friend" promotion. If that doesn't sell you on this location, then I don't know what will. read more

The blower for the heating/cooling system in my Honda Accord decided to die, just when we were about to have the hottest week this year so far. (Doesn't it always happen just then?!) I called Arcadia Ultimate Auto and was able to schedule an appointment right away for the next day. Ramon was super helpful, by the time I pulled up he had already ordered the parts that he thought could be broken, just to be ready for all possibilities and get the repair done quickly. Which they did - three hours later they called that the car was ready! It's cooling again nicely, making the 100 degree weather outside so much more bearable. Awesome, quick, super friendly service! Thank you! read more

Coming down from Northern Cal we lost our mechanics who took care of our cars, Now our Prius was getting up there in miles and years we wanted to get some good suggestions on where we should go and what is the latest on the SUV/Hybrid market. Jeff Sellern, the owner, was generous with his time and expertise to give us helpful suggestions on what we should do with our Prius and being an ASE mechanic knew the problems he's found in the newer hybrid models. We left delighted in that we have found a mechanic for our cars and feel confident that Jeff will be clear and straight on our automotive needs as we go forward. I hesitate saying anything more becuase the last time I did this, some years back, I had to make an appointment with my last Yelp review because it drew more business to their door. read more

I trust Jeff and his staff with my Cars more than I trust anyone. I bought my current car -Honda CRV - because that is a make his team specializes in. My reward is 300,000 miles. My prior car was a Honda Accord that had almost 200,000 miles when I sold it. No one other than his team has worked on the CRV. I started to go to Ultimate when my prior mechanic could not provide the quality of service a person needs. They serviced the Honda for over 150,000. His team are experts and the front of the house - Terry and Roman- are professional I have recommended Ultimate to friends and they have been equally happy with the team. read more

How much is a reliable and trustworthy mechanic worth? I can't say enough good things about Arcadia Ultimate. I grew up in Arcadia, and Jeff was my tee-ball coach when I was kid. So of course I took my first car to him as a 16 year old, and have taken every car I've ever owned to him since. Even after I moved to the westside, and now live in the valley, I have always driven (or gotten my car towed) all the way to Arcadia to have my car worked on there. The reason is, they go above and beyond for their customers and absolutely NEVER push work onto you that is not needed. They'll tell you about issues to keep an eye on and will let you know when it's time to get something fixed or if it can wait. Whatever is needed to get done though, will be done reliably and at a fair price. Now my wife takes her car there too because I won't let her take it anywhere else! If you need a mechanic who will feel more like a family instead of someone who is trying to squeeze every penny out of you that they can, go to Arcadia Ultimate! read more

My wife is very ill and I tore my bumper partly off. Jeff at Arcadia Ultimate Automotive, who has given me great service for 20 years recommended Profix in Monrovia. Juan reattached it in 30 min and only charged me $20. I got back to caring for my wife with a safe car. read more

This was my first time here. Based on its location which was close to my job and a co-worker's recommendation, I decided to bring my Honda Accord in. Roman and Jeff were professional and thorough. I had an engine cover installed and issues with an oil leak resolved. They also installed new brakes. Their prices were fair and the work well done. There was even a discount for teachers. A great location for Hondas. read more

I will definitely be a lifer here. Jeff was wonderful as was Roman. Being a woman and walking into a automotive shop can sometimes come with mixed results, Jeff took time to explain to me what was going on my car as well as showing me the parts he was using. He answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. See you soon for that tune up Jeff! read more

I went to Arcadia Ultimate Automotive to have my steering looked at on my Acura for a simple leak. When I got there they said it would be $45 just to have em look at it. Thinking it was just a leaking return line to the power steering pump reservoir I said OK. Anyways they call me a few hours later and say it is the entire steering box and that it would cost around $1400. I went and had it done and while they were working on my car one of the mechanics called me. He wanted to know were the wheel lock key was. I told him it was in the glove compartment. He said OK if I can't find it I will call you back. He never called back. When I get the car back Jeff says, "Hey the steering pump makes a lot of noise it doesn't look original so that's why it is making so much noise, but you already new that." When I go to the car I checked for the wheel lock key and it was missing. I go to the mechanic that called me and he says, Oh yeah I couldn't find it so I opened it another way. But yet he said he would call me if he could find it and never did. I take the car home and drain the power steering fluid suspecting that the fluid they put it was not Honda specific. I replaced it with the correct fluid which solved the noise problem. The car no longer leaks but I was very irritated with the service this place provides. I would rather go to the dealer it cost the same and the service is professional. read more

My family has been coming here for years and we have had zero problems with any of our cars. I just know it's because their service is top notch. Jeff and Terry are so reliable, accommodating, and straight forward. Roman is an absolute sweetheart and so knowledgeable. Everyone is SO great at what they do here. Sure, you may pay a few dollars more than at the dealership, but all of our cars have also made it to 250,000+ miles with literally no issues. I believe 6 cars now from our household have been regulars at this shop and nothing but great things to say! read more
