I've been going to Homer's for 7 years now and I always have the best experience compare to previous mechanics I used to go to. Their prices are low compared to other places, they will always work on it quickly and give you 100% transparency before taking any action. They truly care about their costumers and it shows. I recommend their services all the time to friends. 10/10 read more

I've been taking cars to Homer's for many years and have never been disappointed. Yo and all his team are very friendly and professional. They do their best to get you back on the road without delay and they never undertake work you didn't approve beforehand if it's going to cost money. I've had them do a tune-up while I waited, and last time they dropped me home and picked me up again when my car was ready. Great to see a locally owned and run business that's been around for so many years that provides a great service at reasonable cost. And who else has parrots to keep you entertained? read more

They are a professional organization and nice people. Not inexpensive but worth it. Nice and honest!

Yo Rocks..He will always take the time to help you if he can. Theres nothing more to Say about this..

I went in for an oil change at 9:15am this morning. Not only did Yo, Alec and the team at Homer's get me in within the hour, they also found a screw that had stress sheared off from my turbo. Since my car is still under warranty, they advised me to make an appointment with the dealership. Alec wrote everything down for me so I could tell the dealership exactly what they needed to know to get me in and out of there quickly. I'm so appreciative for Homer's Auto and all of their knowledge. I trust them with my car and my life in my car. Thank you for all you do. read more

If Homer's can't fix it no one can The best mechanic I've ever had! They found the reason why my car would not pass the smog test! They found what Kia dealership couldn't find!!! Sarah who handles all car issues coming in was a huge part of finding this issue! The mechanics are on it all of them! Steve was great with rides back and forth to my house! Homer's is honest and like l said if Homer's can't fix it no one can! Thankyou!!!! I got my wheels back!! Only mechanic I use!! read more

I brought my car thinking something was wrong with the alternator since the technician from the auto club had told me that my car was having issues and it wasn't the battery. They checked my car and told me that it was not the alternator. They were honest and reliable!! Excellent service!! If you need a great mechanic this is your place!! I would definitely recommend this shop! Thank you Homer's!! read more

I went to Homer's because several people said to me, "Go to Homer's!". And I did. The ladies in the front were incredibly kind and very knowledgeable and showed me everything they were doing and why and even had pictures. They went so above and beyond and saved me thousands of dollars had I gone to the people I usually went to. Thank you to everyone at Homer's! read more

The service was 10/10, everyone was very nice and helpful especially Sara ! I recommend everyone to pay a visit.

This businesses lot is filled with what appears to be broken down vehicles. It's hard to tell if it's a mechanic or a junkyard. He even keeps a boat hitched to an SUV there that he has to move around and park daily inconveniencing the residents. If you judge a mechanic by how he maintains the property, well enough said. I'll try someone else. read more

Called to inquire about a vehicle inspection. All over their website they advertise free inspection. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude. She was annoyed that I asked about the free inspection and why they said it was "no cost" inspection on the website if it's a service they do not offer. It is definitely false advertising. When I asked how much it cost to inspect the vehicle she quoted me at $203.00/hour!!!!! JUST TO INSPECT IT. She was so dismissive and annoyed with me I just hung up the phone. read more

I've taken both my car and my daughter's car to Homer's Auto several times, for everything from regular maintenance to emergency services, and every single time they've gone above and beyond. Just this week I had an unexpected issue with my car while I was in the area, and they took care of it within a day! Yo, the owner, and his team are incredibly professional, quick, and truly go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right. I highly recommend Homer's Auto for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy auto shop. You'll be in great hands! read more

CHOOSE HOMERS!! You won't regret it. My car decided to explode on me, so I took it to Homers. Thank goodness I did because they're such a wonderful team! Never have I WANTED to return to a mechanic lol Sara and Teri are the sweetest of sweethearts! And Yosuf LOOKS tough, but he's just a huge softie with the heart of a Lamborghini! If you have to move mountains, these people will help you push. Also, they reward loyalty to their customers in a tangible way! You can just tell they belong in Monrovia. They're only making it better! Inside their location is a bunch of cool collectibles and memorabilia to check out as well. I'm sure they're happy to have me out of their hair, but I'm going back for all my car needs! Thank you guys so much! Here's a 6th star read more

Yo and all of the Crew did an excellent job of keeping my 60's Classic Car on the road. No other shop in my neighborhood was willing to take on the repair, let alone the challenges that Yo and Crew faced throughout the repair process. They are a very professional, and reputable business that comes highly recommended. read more

Friendly people, but first time visitors should know they have $175 of initial inspection, they then quoted me over $900 for spark plugs, coils, oil change... I took just the oil change, and they brought the inspection fee down to $111, but still total was $175 for the oil change. This was too expensive and I didn't think this place would treat me that way. I'm posting this here because I wish I would have known of the $175 before I went. Thanks. read more

I took my car there, they said I would have to leave it to run test...4 days later, I called them, they said the issue was the turbo and would cost $2000 and they would have to order the part from Kia, so I'd have to wait for the part to arrive...first of all I was annoyed that I hadn't heard from them but okay.... Another 6 days goes by, Im thinking the part was literally coming from China! I drive by the shop, and saw my car still parked across the street!! So I went in and the owner said "we can't fix your car"... "take it to the dealer"..., witch I ended up doing... I was so disappointed in the lack of communication, and plain customer disregard! My car sat at their shop for10 days and I had to reach out for update, they never called me once!! I don't care if they're good mechanics, they're terrible customer service!! read more

I was in need of an oil change ASAP. So after I called several locations, Homer's came through for me. I drove in, explained I had to head to work immediately afterwards. So true to their word, got me in and out the door on time. I definitely will be going back for all my service needs. read more

I had two cars worked on here, a BMW with a fuel filter and pump issue a few years back and my Kia's control arm etc., recently, I was not disappointed at all with their work and neither will you! This is a great shop to take your car(s) to if you want it done right. I highly recommend it 100/10 , I was so happy and felt so grateful they took in both of my cars within the same hour I talked to them and all the workers there I've met have been nothing but understanding and extremely nice and actually look into my car issues, not just glimpse at it with a quick guess. Not to forget to mention one last note- the birds bring me joy every time read more

My family has been coming to Homer's for as long as I can remember, and we have always had excellent service. During my most recent visit, Yo was very helpful with the information he gave me and told me how it was with the status of my car; this was very useful for making what decision I went with next. I appreciate his directness, kindness, and understanding of my situation. This was the same with the receptionist and the other employees, too. Max and another mechanic there at the time were also quick to provide a lot of beneficial and useful information. Thank you again! read more

Homer is Very helpful, informative, good-humored! I will definitely bring my car here in the future. read more

This is 1 of 2 reviews I've ever left on any business. Leaving a poor review due to the lack of attention to detail when working on my car. Paid close to 3,000 for various things to be worked on but the issue was never resolved. Brought it back, and they quoted me 50% higher of other quotes I was receiving even when they applied a "discount". Wont be coming back. read more

Overpriced. and they made you pay the $125 just for inspection :) ok. that's all i'm gonna say :) read more

I went to Homer's to get a price to fix my water pump. Jolene at the front desk said I had to leave it there to look at it. She called me and said it's going to cost $2100.00 just to fix a water pump! I was like heck no... then she said if I don't fix it there they are going to charge me $125.00 because they looked at it! I said I told you what was wrong with it why should I have to pay for you to tell me again? They are unfair and way overpriced. I just got my car fixed for $600.00 TO DO THE SAME WORK. Shame on you Homer's read more

Yet another great experience at Homer's. I contacted them to let them know that I needed my brakes done and they got me in the next day. They did a complete car check up as well, and contacted me to let me know the cost of the brakes and also a couple of other recommendations. I had them do all of the work, and it was ready for me by the end of the day. It's so important to me, as a single woman, that I have a trustworthy mechanic, and I do at Homer's. I have great trust and faith in Yo and his team! read more

I've gotten my oil changed here a few times now, and I would definitely trust them with other services. Homer's has reasonable pricing, and they work efficiently. I like that they are a family business as well. Definitely would recommend! read more

I've been coming to Homer's for over 15 years now. Always a great experience from Yo and everyone there. I took my old truck there for all my oil changes and brakes until I sold her. Now they service my new car and they always do a solid job. Bonus is that they are down the block from some great restaurants and a movie theater if I choose to wait. Last month I took my girlfriend's car as it was making some strange rattling sounds. Yo's son Alec figured out that the main problem was a bad motor mount but also saw that a pulley wheel was cracked! Glad he did because my girlfriend would have broken down if it wasn't replaced for sure!! Thanks, Homer's, for making the usual hassle of car repair and maintenance A LOT more pleasant! read more

I was on my way to the office when the check engine lite come on for my low tire. I reached out to Yo (owner) to see to see if i could take my car in and he was available. He and his mechanic took their time to look at all of my tires and they were able to solve it and fixed them problem, but before they did they took the time to walk me around my car to show me what the problem was. They were thorough and very friendly too! Once they fixed my low tire they showed their completed work. Great job!!!! read more

We've been going to Homer's for a few years now and they're the best! Yo really cares about his customers and it shows in his work and especially how he goes out of his way to help and advise to make sure you're vehicles are safe. They are always crazy busy, and yet the most we've waited for an appointment was a week or 2. Yo has even gone above and beyond to help us with a repair on our Sprinter van when Mercedes told us the wrong part. We highly recommend them. Great customer service, great prices, and wonderful service all around! Highly recommend! read more

Took my car in when my air conditioner was no longer blowing cool air. I was hoping it was just a simple fix and needed a service and some fluid. After inspecting it I got a call from them and I was told it was the compressor. $1200-$1400. I wasn't thrilled but decided to have them fix it. Due to some scheduling I had to pick up my car and drop it back off on a Thursday afternoon. I was told the part was in and my car would be first up on Friday morning. Then I heard nothing from them. They are closed on the weekend so I had to call them Monday. When I did, I was told by them there was another problem. This set off too many red flags. I picked up my car and took it elsewhere. Guess what? Turns out it was just a simple fix. $50 later my air-conditioning is perfect. Don't be scammed by these people. read more

Where do I start with Yo! Not too many people like him out there. He honestly made the process of fixing my vehicle stress free, from day 1 of dropping off my car till the day it was completed. He even took the time to call me afterwards to check if my wife was satisfied. Thanks a lot Yo! read more

Just a quick update... we had an issue with a Fuel Evap (or whatever it's called) and they were able to get us in before a road trip to get the car repaired. Exceptional care & attention from Yo & staff! Best service & attention!

Ok so we actually haven't gotten to use Homers, BUT, after explaining what I needed fixed they knew exactly who to refer me to. Often times places will just say we don't do that and that's the end. They gave me two places to call and boom we had it fixed right away. So helpful. Thank you Homers!!! read more

I took my car in to have its oil leaks fixed. Yo ( my mechanic) was wonderful!! He took the time to explain every little detail. I really appreciated that!
