Okay, Shant and Sammy? First class guys. They can handle stress, are highly organized/detail oriented and keep a clean shop. Decidedly that, they are very communicative and thorough. Shant speaks fluent Spanish (I mean really well) so he gets all sorts of folks in his shop. Sammy is very intellectual and tech saavy. His show notes are so detailed they read better than a manual. He charges $190 and hour for his work, but it's worth it! He's a top notch guy. Recently my gas gauge and horn failed, they fixed it in five minutes and charged me like $100. If Shant can't do something, he'll send you to THE guy who can. Call ahead to make an appointment, they're busy. I can't imagine anyone but an irrational person not being satisfied with them. My mother was ripped off so horribly in another state it makes me so fortunate to know these guys. 10 stars! read more

This review is long overdue! I've been coming here for over 4 years. My mom has been coming here for about 7 years, and because this shop is so great, I even got my boyfriend to bring his truck to Myrtle Auto service. Chant is the man! My Lexus was over due for a timing belt and water pump replacement and I had heard about this place through a friend. I called to get a quote and dropped off the car the following day. When I returned to pick up the car Chant took his time to show me the old parts and pointed out that the old water pump was on its last legs. Best of all, he replaced everything with all original Lexus parts (including original Toyota/Lexus coolant) and did not charge an arm and leg that the dealership would. I will definitely be returning to him in the future! read more

Since I moved to the area, this has been a great, reliable place to bring my car. Chant is always transparent with costs. You can always ask him, and he will give you a fair rate. If the work is more than what he quoted you, he holds to his word and doesn't charge you more than what he originally told you. As a woman, it's refreshing to come to a repair shop without financially being taken advantage of. Chant also shows you what's wrong with your car instead of just telling you so you can understand the work that needs to be done so know what you're paying for. Also, as of today when I came to the shop, the location has moved to 1827 S. Myrtle Ave. read more

This is a great place to get your car repairs done! The owner, Chant, is an honest man and will tell you directly what is wrong with your car. He won't try and upsell you on typical small service things that aren't necessary or can wait. He will tell you what problems need to be addressed directly and has very reasonable rates for repairs. He has your best interest in mind and will work with you to be able to make affordable payments on repairs. This is by far the best auto repair shop that I have ever been and even my entire family takes our cars to be serviced here! read more

I have been coming to Shaun for the service of my cars for about 10 years. This is a new location and it's really nice and it has a very clean restroom:) There is AC and hot coffee in the waiting area. He is very honest, fast and is always at a good price for all my car services. Shaun is not just our family mechanic, he has become a family friend through the years. He will always go the extra Mile for all his customers. I truly recommend Myrtle Auto Service for any of your vehicle needs. read more

Chant you've changed my outlook with professional and expert auto repair service. There's only a few out there and I had doubts but I got lucky enough to be referred to your shop. Chant is the most AMAZING mechanic ever!! I have been coming here for years, with every car I've owned and I have recommended everyone I know to him and they have all had nothing short of excellent service and pricing. Thank God for this place. I'm a single mom with four kids, car issues for me are some of the most difficult things I encounter. I can't live without my car and he makes that possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love I receive here. read more

I've taken my truck here a few times and was initially very happy with my service. As I kept taking my vehicle here more and more problems started to occur. After further inspection I realized that he had been using incorrect parts to try and mend certain things as well as using already used parts. Ultimately I had to get a new vehicle since mine was beyond repair. I definitely would avoid this place if you can, especially if you don't know much about automotive repair. They will take advantage of your lack of knowledge. Do not take your vehicle here. read more

Took my 1995 Toyota Pickup in for rear brakes and all 3 belts. Paid what another shop wanted just for the brakes! Chant, the owner showed me my old parts without being asked. My brake pedal was now higher and firmer than before and it was great to start my truck and not hear that nasty belt squeal! I have finally found a local shop that does quality work at a fair price! Chant also offered me a ride home when I dropped off my truck! I plan to go back as my old truck needs lots of TLC as it just passed 200,000 miles. Next up, tranny leak! Quality, Honesty and Fair Prices! Beautiful combination! read more

Chant is a very honest and trustworthy guy. For a young girl that is hard to find in a mechanic. Whenever I have him check my car he will explain everything in great detail. He shows me what he is talking about and would not have me fix something that isn't broken. I've recommended him to all my friends & family. read more

This review is long overdue, as I've been bringing my cars here for probably over two years. They've always been professional and courteous and I consider their workmanship top notch, and prices to be very reasonable. Believe me there are several places in town that have a reputation for not being quite ethical so this place is a diamond in the rough. I wouldn't think of taking my vehicles anywhere else. read more

You'll get good work at a fair price at this auto body shop. The front bumper of my Toyota Rav 4 got scraped off (long story) and all the body shops I went to were quoting me crazy prices. Myrtle was best price, and they did it quick too. Ask for Chant Jobanian! He's the best! My car looks as good as new. Worth the drive to Monrovia even if you don't live in that part of town. read more
