Decided to take it in on a Friday in the morning. Checked my wheels and told me I just needed the front brake pads and rotors replaced. The back was still good. Sigh of relief somewhat. They were able to get the pads and rotors replaced for little under 3 hours. Time went by and they were updating me during the whole time. Great service and team here. Will definitely bring my car back in to get other services done. No issues whatsoever with the new pads and rotors.

Our family's Ford Explorer required a water pump replacement…read more I visited several local auto shops to obtain quotes and was shocked, disappointed, and discouraged at the prices I was being quoted for the work my vehicle required ($5,000-$7,500) Shame on me for not reading Yelp reviews before wasting my time visiting other auto shops. I read the many positive reviews for Hye-Tech Auto Repair and decided to visit them. Upon entering, I was greeted by John (owner) with a friendly, "Welcome, how may I help you?" I explained that my Ford Explorer needed a new water pump and a few other items that other auto shops had advised me would require repair or replacement. While John looked up a few items on the computer to provide me with a quote, he introduced me to his son, Harry, who happened to be in the office. Thirty seconds later, John provided a quote that was $3,500-$4,000 less than the other shops. I could not believe it. John explained that he makes his living and succeeds in his business through repeat customers, and he does not believe in gouging customers for every last penny. He also shared that when he retires, his son Harry will take over the business, and he wants to leave Harry with a solid foundation of loyal repeat customers. It was then that I knew I could trust John and his son Harry. John went on to explain that replacing the water pump on a Ford Explorer was a 10-12 hour job, as it was an internal pump requiring numerous engine parts to be removed to reach it. This was the same thing all the other shops advised me. John suggested that I leave my vehicle, and he would perform a full inspection of the engine and contact me before doing anything to it. I agreed and left my vehicle. The following day, I was contacted by John, who advised me that the water pump did indeed need to be replaced, as it was the source of the constant leaks of the water coolant. I left my vehicle in John's shop for three days. During this time, John or his son, Harry, contacted me numerous times to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle and also to point out that mechanics had discovered two or three very inexpensive items (under $50.00) which they recommended replacing, which I agreed to have done. All in all, I was and am extremely impressed and satisfied with everything about this shop. I spent much less money to have five different issues repaired on my vehicle at Hye-Tech than what I was quoted to replace my water pump alone by every single shop I visited prior to coming to Hye-Tech. John and Harry are very friendly, honest, and trustworthy. They are also very knowledgeable and experienced, and they offer GREAT customer service and communication. This is my new go-to shop for any issues involving our family vehicles. Thank you, Hye-Tech Auto Repair, for a very positive experience.

What I appreciated most was Daniel's professionalism. He walked me through everything step by step, showed me exactly what was going on, and answered all my questions in detail. He was calm, knowledgeable, and transparent. He also stayed completely professional and never made negative comments about the original installer -- he simply focused on fixing the issue and making sure my vehicle was safe. They properly re-torqued and secured all the suspension components and performed a full alignment to ensure everything was dialed in. The truck now drives perfectly -- stable, smooth, no more clunking or sway. On top of that, their pricing was very fair and reasonable, especially considering the safety issue they corrected. We also ended up going to the dealership to purchase a cabin filter and also purchased the air filter on Amazon). Anyway, in a little less than 1 hour, I had my oil change done and oil filter replaced. The cost was going to be either $76 via credit card, but not including a 3% transaction fee or $70 cash. I ended up paying cash. The price itself is okay but maybe a little on the higher side, as compared to perhaps another auto shop but definitely much cheaper than going to the dealer. After meeting with the mechanic I explained what I felt was going on but he listened and the Opted for me to drop off my car so he could take it out and her for the sound my car was making. I asked should I do the passenger side just in case and he said no. He then sources the parts and said he could do it for about $370 which was a very fair price in contrast to a corporate level mechanic. He got it done in about 4 hours and I went and picked up the car. Now it's been a week and I wanted to see how well my car would do and I commute a little bit so I had to put it to the test and my car runs so much smoother. In fact it feel similar to when I got my car brand new... which kind of blew me away. I'm a loyalist and Citrus will have my business and referred business from here on out. He was honest, hard working and mindful. The quality of work reflects the man so you have a dedicated customer from here on out.

I got an oil change here because I received a coupon in the mail. However, my experience was a total disappointment. From the start, Mr. Terry Chiu came across as condescending and dismissive. His attitude made the entire interaction feel more like a sales pitch than service advice. He suggested a list of high-cost services including changing my brake fluid and transmission fluid, even though I had both done just two months ago. Either he didn't bother to check, or he chose to ignore it. That felt dishonest, or at the very least careless. The prices were also significantly higher than what I've seen at other shops, and the whole interaction left me feeling misled. If you're looking for honest service and respectful communication, I'd recommend going somewhere else. It's especially disheartening considering they actively send coupons to the neighborhood. Clearly, they want the community's business. But integrity is non-negotiable when you're serving your neighbors. Was able to schedule an appointment on Thursday two weeks ago for the following day with Steven and the customer service was incredible. Steven is a great guy that cares to share as much information as needed with the service I need. Asked for a quote for oil change and new tires but ended with the oil change for now. The following day was efficient. It did take some time as they were busy (appointment at 9am, car was on the lift by 9:50am) and was able to leave by 11.
