I don't touch places like this with a 10 foot pole ... normally, HOWEVER, when I'm giving Black Beauty an engine flush I buy the Groupon cheapest oil to rinse the Liquid Moly residue off my engine then get my REAL oil change at Valvoline. Here's a professional tip and how it's done: You're due for an oil change, you pour Liquid Moly Engine flush into your vehicle just outside of Calbest, let it idle per instructions, then get your Groupon cheapest oil change, drive the vehicle for a day or so to loosen more sludge and to rinse the solvents out of the engine. Then go to Valvoline in Pasadena across from Whole Foods and see what a top quality oil change looks like. Yes, Calbest takes longer and might be a waste of time to save ~$50 but I never feel guilty tossing out new oil & filter after just 50 miles or less when going there. The saving about pay for the engine flush. You're welcome. read more

Wow! I'm so happy I found this place. As a female, it's frustrating trying to find the right and true price for car care/fixes since everyone wants to upsell you. Joshua was so friendly, kind and made me feel safe while he did my oil change all within 15-20 minutes! I didn't even have to leave my car, he did it quick and efficiently. Can't wait to come back here! Thanks Josh! read more

So i came upon this shop because I figured id try and save money and use groupon but i get here , both times do the service, and both times now I have left feeling uneasy with either the service or actual price I ended up paying. So the filter cost more because my car is 2021? Theres fees I've had to pay more than what Groupon shows so just a heads up , not their fault, but just something they should fix. An example would be like "more oil is required then what shows on Groupon so you will be charged 8$" or something always comes up when using the groupon. Ended up paying 20$ more than what groupon showed to fill my lexus and get the proper filter. So the service was like 100$ total anyways. Ive come here twice and both times were unpleasant. Not sure if I come during bad times but although very friendly, it seems like the workers here are younger , more relaxed, and don't do the proper standard operating procedures. Like when you go to have someone work om your car , you can tell they been working, getting it , and seem to make u feel like they know what theyre doing. In terms of professionals? Idk if this place is it. I waited 1hr and 45 mins for a simple oil change and filter change? Mind you I waited for an hour and the worker tells me they brought the wrong filter. So thats why i stayed the extra 45 minutes. Total i spent 1hr and 45 minutes there today. I was also the only car there. I never judge a book by its cover , and on both times gave the benefit of the doubt. Then I leave and then see they forget to reset the maintenance meter and then don't update the gas mileage sticker? (first instance i came not the second, the second is the long wait thus what caused this review) Its frustrating when you trust people to work on your car and have to just hope for the best because you already paid for it. But if they're messing up minor details, what does that say about the work they did? Nevertheless, I will pay the extra 40$-50$ at my local auto repair shop where the owner does his work honest and right all the time. Im not writing this to bash the place but they forsure just hiring whoever can do "a simple oil change" probably not a place you wanna take a newer car. Maybe your beater or older car. Just wrote this so people who come for an oil change and expect it to be quality.. yeah based off both experiences , I cannot guarantee its gonna be this place. read more

Came in to get my 25' GLC350e done today, they did a fantastic job when jiffy lube couldn't do it and we're more affordable too. They were fast and professional. Would highly recommend!!! read more

Found this place just from driving past it a few times and finally when I needed the oil change thought of it and came in. Super convenient and quick. Joshua helped me out quickly and efficiently giving recommendations that sounded like great solutions. Would definitely feel comfortable coming in again. And you drive right in. Looks like they also give car washes here as well. And I like that I could stay inside my car as they did it. Big plus for me. read more

Don't bother. They have kids running this place with no supervision. They are extremely unprofessional and will speak about customers they just serviced. My filter was loose and leaked oil. read more

I went there for an oil change and I realized after a week or so that my oil was leaking everywhere. I took my car to a mechanic and it turns out it was from the oil filter they gave me here. I was hoping they would have reimbursed me but all they did was give me a free car wash and give me 10% off of my next service. I didn't want to get my filter replaced here since it was an issue the first time. So I definitely will not be back for another oil change here. read more

Best place in SoCal for an oil change and car wash! They had a great deal on Groupon, so I bought it on a whim because my car needed an oil change -- and the free car wash really sealed the deal. I was expecting a quick automatic wash, but instead I got a full-on hand wash with detailing. I'm genuinely impressed with CalBest's service and plan to return in the future. The gentlemen here were very friendly. They took in my car, quickly changed the oil, did a full inspection, and finished it off with a thorough hand wash. My car looks like I just drove it off the lot -- sparkling clean and fresh, inside and out (again, this full service is offered on Groupon) CalBest provides excellent customer service. The shop is clean and well-maintained, with a nice sitting area out front and snacks available. All of the employees were courteous and accommodating. Short wait time and overall amazing service! read more

Came here to get an oil change since I found a deal on Groupon. I waited about 15-20 mins and my car was done. The guy who helped me wasn't able to figure out how to reset the oil change maintenance notification since the guy who usually does it was off for the day already but told me I can just come back another time to have it reset. I thought that was ok since my boyfriend was able to do it for me. The worker was friendly and helpful and advised me what he checked and if there was any issues with my car. I will definitely be coming back here when I need an oil change again as it was fast and convenient. read more

Easy quick and very friendly.. i was amazed how fast they were. I really appreciate their honesty. I will definitely be going back.

The guys were very personable and very friendly! That alone will have us coming back! The pricing was great since we got a Groupon and even without we'd return! read more

Staff was very friendly and informed me of what I needed done. They didn't try to push me into purchasing anything.

Quick and easy on a Saturday morning with no waiting. Guys were friendly and worked quickly.

Went in with a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change based off the reviews I purchased it. Was a good deal.. yes but the customer service was bleh, I was not quickly welcomed..I got in the oil change section and got off to ask and they told me to stay there because someone was suppose to come to me..finally got someone but the worker just seemed bleh about the day maybe? Not sure, wasn't great customer service but I got my oil change done! read more

Brought my car in for an oil change using the Groupon and they were super quick and friendly! They price matched so I didn't have to actually buy the Groupon and helped with a general diagnostic of my car. They were knowledgeable and gave excellent customer service. Thank you to the 2 gentlemen handling the oil change and the gentleman handling the car washes!! read more

Great pricing however they stated they put air in my tires but did not. Oil change itself was fine.
