This shop damaged my axle CV boot after doing a wheel bearing replacement. My axle started leaking grease shortly after them working on it. They denied damaging the boot despite even saying it doesn't look like what they usually see on damaged CV axle boots. The marks on the CV boot perfectly align with the shock mount, which can never hit the CV axle unless it's free to move, like during a repair. I'm never going back here. I'd recommend to avoid this place because I see other reviews of them damaging parts during their repair. They also lied to me once over the phone when they said the tech had my car on the lift and was working on it during the wheel bearing repair. I went for a walk shortly after the phone call and passed by the shop and my car was in the same parking spot when I first dropped it off. At that moment I should have canceled the repair cause this is what happened. If a mechanic lies to you once, leave immediately. read more

Very simply: they solved a problem that two other shops couldn't. My Lexus developed an intermittent rattling sound. I took it to two other independent Lexus specialists, and one after another they both failed to diagnose the source of the problem. After another month of living with the noise, I got fed up and took it to Arcadia Service Center, which happens to be the shop closest to me out of all three. They do not claim to specialize in Toyota/Lexus, therefore it was not at the top of my mind. Later that day, after what I suppose was a more meticulous diagnostic process than performed elsewhere, they figured out the issue (bad alternator) and fixed it by next day. Noise is gone. called because they were an AAA approved garage. was quoted $200.00 "out the door" for a new battery. showed up next morning and waited for them to open not 7 as add shows but 8 am. I was first, discovered they do not sell AAA batteries, but "a better mfg". And the price was $25,00 more. ok I'm here now, so I said ok. then they discovered that my battery terminal ends need replacing, another $60.00 I said OK. another 1/2 hour or so, all set to go $356.12 when I presented my credit card they said "oh there is a service charge for using your card. I had some weird thing happening with our Ford Escape. I don't have the body to do a lot of car work anymore, so I took it back to ASC because I trust them. I thought maybe something was happening with the brakes, turned out every tire was shredded on the inside. We bought it from a very sketchy used Ford dealer called DCH Ford. New issues keep popping up with this car ever since we bought it. I cannot thank them enough. Someone bought me a new Kia at the end of 2018. Recently I was going to work and it seemed to be lose speed, or power. I wasn't near home. AAA suggested I bring it here so I did. After a while, I was getting antsy, thinking they should have told me something by now. Finally, the mechanic came out holding some papers and said you can't drive it, the engine is dead.' I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. (I'm BROKE.) He did a great job calming me, assuring me that I was going to be okay. He told me that kia had recalled these engines! Said that they Had to fix it. I replied that my warranty had expired. He showed me some papers that he had printed and stapled together and said this is your get out of jail free card. The print out was illegible. But he said the mechanics would know that the engine had a warranty extension due to a manufacturing issue. I really thought the dealer would find a way to make it my fault. I just moved back to the area and knew exactly what was wrong with my car my mechanic in (OC) didn't have the part (he specializes in auto body not regular auto repair). At first, was going to just hit Jiffy Lube but did not want to hear their standard "upsell" crap. I set out for a repair shop because my car is getting up there in mileage and we all know when that happens the "upsells" become more aggressive by any chain. Will I looked on yelp and Arcadia Svc Ctr has 5 stars? The url reviews ate all heartfelt as well. SOLD! Arcadia Svc Ctr fixed my AC, got me a new tire and did NOT upsell anything, not even once! Also, they did not tell me the standard line any chain auto repair place would, "you need new brakes". I drive manual transmission and know I got another 25-30K miles before that happens. They also didn't tell me I needed shocks. Jiffy Lube would've pushed hard for those two sells. Thank you Arcadia Svc Ctr for your great costumer service and trustworthiness. Well, I can't actually rate them high enough! They are honest affordable and really advise on how to handle repairs. I can't say enough about what an amazing human Robert is...I'm still in the process of deciding how to handle my repair or trade in for a newer model (as per Robert's advice) He is giving up an expensive job to just be honest and amazingly kind. PLEASE READ REVIEW IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS!!! I took my 1996 Ford Probe GT to have starter replaced. I am very familiar with the mechanics of my vehicle and already had the symptoms diagnosed as faulty starter. I already knew it would be a tight job, so I decided to let professionals take a stab at it. The shop was clean. Front desk was professional and the job was completed swiftly with a slightly steep price of $738.24. (5 stars at this time) DAMAGE TO BODY - REVIEW I returned home with vehicle to give it a quick wash, since there where oily greasy spots from the shop when I had noticed there was clear damage to the drivers side pop up light, fender and front bumper. When I returned to the shop, the front desk employee defended his team with phrases like "the mechanic who worked on your car has been with us for 25 years. He would have told us something. We are like family and we are honest with each other." Unfortunately, the mechanic was unavailable because he was "having dental work done". Customers shouldn't know employee medical issues. After about 45 minutes of back and forth, the front desk referred me to a body shop to have vehicle quoted for repair. He was just waiting for the manager's approval (who was also not available at that time). The front desk asked me to give him 24 hours to fix the situation (1 star at this time) 24 hours later. I call Arcadia Service Center. Manager is still not available. According to the front desk "the manager will be in later he is getting blood work done". Again, more medical information not required to the customer. Eventually, I receive a call from Arcadia Service Center, and they agree to fix the body damage to my vehicle. All I have to do is set up an appointment. (2 stars at this time) DANGER TO MYSELF AND OTHERS - REVIEW 2 days after my starter replaced I take my vehicle to Costco, and while on the 210 freeway, the vehicle overheats. It also begins bucking (misfires). This vehicle has never overheated. Being on a highway, an overheating engine puts you in a very dangerous situation, not only for your engine, but yourself as well. I manage to safely get out of the path of traffic and take a look under the hood. At first I am focused on the cooling system, but thats when i notice the hack job done to my vehicle by the mechanics at Arcadia Service Center. They had cut or removed three important vacuum lines necessary for effective ignition timing on the engine as well as failed to connect the gear linkage back to the transmission. It seemed that the incompetent 25 year mechanic was so frustrated removing and installing a starter, he decided to slice and dice his way in and out, and failed to reinstall and repair what he had removed on his way back. ***It is not okay to hand off a vehicle to customers that will fail and potentially cause harm or death to themselves and/or others due to catastrophic failure. Vehicles are designed, by engineers, to operate in a certain manner and should be kept as such while being worked on by professionals being paid to perform work*** I have not notified the shop of the second portion at this time of posting, because of fear they would go back on their agreement to fix the body damage caused by their mechanic. Now that the body work has been repaired, i will proceed with my next level of action to have Arcadia Service Center held accountable to their actions, as well as the effects of their actions to the safety and wellbeing of the public and our community read more

Very friendly, honest, and professional staff! I went to fix my check engine light, but they said it wasn't necessary until the car gave me another reminder since the car's indicator might have been too sensitive rather than showing an actual problem. I was really surprised and appreciated hearing this -- they're very honest and professional for doing that. About a week later, I went back because my car gave another warning and they fixed it very quickly and at a reasonable price. They also have AAA discounts, which is nice. Arcadia service center have a great system where you can drop off your car, even after hours, so they can take care of the car the following day. Robert was extremely intentional, caring, and responsive. He found the issue and dealt with it right away. He even took extra effort to check an issue I was experiencing with my AC. I was able to return from a weekend trip to a fixed car. Prices were very fair as well! He even took the time to explain the cause of the issue so I can prevent any future issues. Its walk in Oil change service, you arrived in the morning get done in about 2hours. They will charge labor for 30 dollars if you have oil and filter. I gave 4 stars because I think they add the whole bottle mobile 1 without checking the dip stick. I did not return it for the overfill problem, because I found out 2 weeks later for my routine check. I should check right away lesson learn. I use my extractor to pump out extra oil. It's about 3/4 quart. People make mistakes, no big deal. read more
