The workers here are so friendly it literally feels like you're coming to visit a friend or family. They didn't require appointments and they served us quickly and efficiently as walk-ins. The wait was minimal (maybe 1-2 people ahead of us?)-- total in-and-out time was maybe 30 min. There's not much to say about getting a smog, but when you get a notice to renew registration, you're forced to look for a Star Certified place. Here's one that gets the job done. They raised their prices at the beginning of 2023, but still fair compared to some other places. They usually have a short line of cars waiting, and the guys will direct you on where to park. There are seats outside and a couple more inside for ones waiting for their turn. I used to go to another place but they keep changing their prices every time I go. My car battery had just been changed because I haven't used my car for sometime. The owner (Kevin?) Said he can't do the full test, I need to drive the car for at least 100miles before he can test. He did give me 2-4 wks to do so and agreed to do the test without any additional fees - we did that and we were able to get the test , pass it, and get our DMV renewed. Yehey! Appreciate Kevin Smog. My car showed "Not Ready" a few times and they kindly gave me the heads up each time before doing the test. I finally just got a Bluetooth OBDII Reader to make sure all Emissions Status were green before coming back. I also encountered an issue of the "Emissions Label". This is usually found near the engine, but they were afraid to touch my vehicle so I had to drive back home and do some Googling to remove the Engine Service Cover to access the Emissions Label. If you have a similar vehicle, make sure all your systems are green and you have access to your Emissions Label to avoid unnecessary trips and headache. But, once all my ducks were in a row, it was smooth sailing. Appreciate these guys. They are honest and it was great dealing with them. I would avoid Las Tunas Smog Station at all costs. read more

My friend recently recommend me the same place and when I got there, I remembered the owner and the place was the same as it was 3 years ago. Probably the cleanest auto place you ever see.
