Since they just opened they said it would take 20 min to get the computers up and asked if I was okay to wait. Seating options were explained and also advised I may be more comfortable in the car since it was a cold day. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!! Went in on Saturday just to purchase a couple of things. Wasn't buying gas. I walked in and there were two Hispanic ladies behind the counter. Tried to get smog check when open at 8am. No one was there waited 15 mins no one showed up so I left.

I needed to get a smog check from a star certified smog check shop and searched for a place that was close by and could take my car on short notice. The gentleman working was polite and quickly checked my smog, provided the documents and sent it to the DMV. The whole process took no longer than 20 minutes. Remember to take the paperwork that the dmv sends to the shop so that they can transfer your information to the DMV. As an added bonus, the 76 station in the lot has very reasonable gas prices compared to other stations and is worth filling up while your there. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR SMOG CHECK HERE. This ***hole will charge you more than the $30 coupon online. It says online the price of smog check for "smog check Out of State" is $27.95. When my wife got there she texted me saying he was charging her $60. I called him and asked him what the fuck he was doing and where in writing that's the price (especially since I called the morning of and he said it's $39... we found the coupon after). He responded the coupon is only good for California vehicles (again... it literally says the coupon is for out of state testing above the 'get coupon' button). THEN he had the nerve to say he can do whatever he wants "as a business owner". I told him he's making whatever price he wants (which is absolutely illegal) and that he's going to be losing a shit ton of business by doing this (we have a ton of cars that need smog testing and are also moving to the area so he could have made some repeat customers). First off the man working tonight at the gas station was SUPER RUDE!!! I didn't have my debit card on me & just had my coin purse. I had $8 in change. The store portion was closed so I put all the change in the tray & gave him my pump number. When he saw all the coins he told me he only took rolled coins. I told him I had never heard of that before. He seemed annoyed when I asked if this was something new for all gas stations & he said it was their policy & started mumbling something about the bank. Then he proceeded to talk to me in a condescending manner. He even made a comment like "the problem is you guys always try to pay with coins" ummmm excuse me "you guys" what is that supposed to mean? I said so if I go across the street they won't take the change either? He said he was not accepting it then just walked away from the window while I was still talking. I am calling tomorrow to speak to a manager. I went to Chevron across the street & guess what they took all my coins plus they have Apple Pay! They couldn't believe it when I told them 76 wouldn't take my coins. I've been a customer at this specific 76 for years cuz I live a few blocks away. It's sad that 1 ignorant worker caused them to lose a few customers. We have a handful of cars in our household & we will not be going there again for anything. read more

I've been to this smog center a number of times and they are always so good. They are always very friendly and helpful. And they smog your car quickly. As a side note, the fuel prices at that station tend to be the lowest on my route to work so I always fill up their too. I highly recommend it this place. read more

I just went there today 8/28/18 at 4:50pm. Just so everyone is on the same page. I Had some change lying around in my car, so I decide to get rid of it to buy some gas. Older gentlemen was at the counter. His voice sounded eastern European or Middle Eastern. So I moved out of the way for customers to buy whatever they need so I can count my change without disturbing anyone. Also to count the change for the cashier to make it easier for him. Then he said I'm only going to accept 3 dollars of change. I clearly had at least double that. I asked is this a store policy? he responded "no this is my policy." So then I decided to let it be like maybe he's having a bad day. But then I realize like what gives him the right to create a personal policy. I felt disrespected. When I felt I was being more professional than he was. So beware people he only has a three dollar change limit policy that's not the stores. It's his "policy."
