Came here for an oil change earlier today. I had such a great experience. I came here for an oil change. The guys that worked on my car were absolutely amazing and noticed something off with my car. I'm glad that noticed that because I wouldn't have. They went and checked my coolant and noticed that there was sludge on the hose in the coolant reservoir. They stated that I should get that replaced because it's deteriorating. Thanks for the heads up! Told my dad about it and he's gonna get a new hose for it ASAP. Oh, and it was hot af outside. It's a drive thru service so I was in my car. Unfortunately my cars AC isn't working and one of the guys offered if I wanted some cold air. They have this machine that has silver tubes coming out of it blowing cold air. I said sure so he got one of the tubes a slipped it threw my window. If I could rate this a zero I would absolutely so I took my tow truck up there to have them do the service on it the first time when I got it back, it was so black. I was highly skeptical that they ever even touched it so I wanted to test them. I sent it back up there to have service done on it again and I brought it from their building straight to my shop and drain the oil out and it was so black and recycled out of other vehicles, why my driver was there. He observed them taking the old oil out of other vehicles and pouring it into one big tank and then from that tank they have lines that go to the different stations that they pump it back into the next customers car be aware of this place they are as scam. They never change the oil in your car they just put recycled oil in it. Typical California scammers they're using a trusted name to do bad to people be aware !!!!!! read more

I came in a little earlier in the day due to a light flashing on my dashboard. I pulled in and was greeted by Alejandro, and explained the reason for coming in today. He explained to me that the light signified an issue with my tire pressure. We went through the process of checking all my tires out and he found a small nail in my left back tire. He gave me different options in regard to getting my tire fixed, and gave me the air my tire needed. I appreciate the time he took in answering any questions I had regarding my dashboard with the lights, and helping me find solutions to my tire. Customer service is a HUGE thing for me. It makes or breaks a place, regardless of what service they provide. Coming here, I don't feel pressured to buy services. This place has been my go to for years. Everyone's always nice and they work so quick I don't even need to leave my car and they have coupons via email if sign up and continue to go. I've been to other jiffy lubes and they take forever I'm in and out of here in 10 mins!! We usually take our car to a family owned mechanic, but unfortunately, their business was lost in the fire. Today, we decided to try this specific Jiffy Lube, and it quickly became clear why we've never considered them before. The customer service was exceptionally poor. When we arrived, the front door was locked, which seemed odd. The girl that was there was unfriendly and unhelpful, and despite waiting in the office for 10 minutes, no one came to assist us. There were plenty of staff around, and seemingly aware that we were in there, but we were completely ignored. Because of this we decided to go to the one on Colorado and were VERY happy that we did so (Ask for Carlos, he's great!). read more

I had been putting of changing my oil because my prior experiences on the east coast were always negative. It always took close to an hour and I always felt like I was being taken advantage of (you know, they love to make you feel weird about being a lady talking about a car). Never felt like I was getting an honest assessment. However, Jose and Victor were phenomenal. They were kind and professional, showing me how filthy my filters were without making it seem like they were trying to turn a profit-- just seeing them helped me make my own decisions. Suggestions were made but they were understanding that I didn't want to spend extra. I loved my experience at this Jiffy location-- I can't recommend it enough. They put in the wrong grade oil in my car. Although I am grateful the assistant manager called me minutes after I left, my whole experience made me distrust all oil change companies. They lack proper training on making sure the proper oil grade is used to ensure proper grade is used. It was only caught on the managers memory only. Not very safe if you ask me if the only double check is the managers memory. Make sure you know what grade oil you need and make sure you double check they use it. Otherwise your engine will be destroyed by negligence or improper training! First time this has ever happened in my 25 years of driving! Electric cars seem more appealing now! Btw they admitted this error happens quite a bit...not very reassuring! read more

I would like to write a review for the station I visited at 1603 E Colorado Blvd., Pasadena. Oil change service is always fast and efficient at any Jiffy Lube, with no ill advised upselling. My last oil change the technician found that the oil drain plug was stripped. Possibly it got stripped by the other Jiffy Lube at 1420 E. Walnut, which is the only other center that has changed oil on our vehicle. Carlos went above and beyond. At first he was apologetic that he could not repair the plug and offered to install a universal one. However, he ended up locating a tapping kit and was able to restore the threads and install the original plug. People make mistakes. Conscientious service makes up for it and we'll keep coming back. read more

I just got my oil changed today and I was told that I had an oil leak. I took it to my mechanic right after I left jiffy lube and my mechanic told me that I need an oil gasket, but the big kicker is that jiffy lube stripped my drain plug. And now that is leaking too. I will never go back to this location again. Now I need an all new oil pan. read more

Jose and Jiffy Lube Pasadena are the best. It's really hard to replace my headlights and most other shops charge $70 and take 90 minutes. Jose had no problem replacing them -- in 10 mins! I was honestly shocked. I'm a tried and true Jiffy Lube fan now. read more

I've been stopping at this location for regular oil changes, in between intermediate and major car maintenance packages, and always get great service here. Great team! I also had a battery change here a year ago, with no problems. Since covid, the protocol is to drive up with a mask and stay in the car while serviced! The team is masked throughout.
