First time ordering pizza from Jet's. I needed pizza for a work event. I needed a timed delivery. I called before operating hours and a friendly male voice answered the phone. He was very helpful he suggested their signature deep dish pizza. I ordered one in pepperoni and then I ordered 3 hand tossed pizzas. One pepperoni, a combination, and a 1/2 & 1/2 of cheese and veggie. The pizzas arrived in a timely manner. The deep dish was my favorite and that is what I would order in the future. Wish I could give a .5 here, I would give it a 3.5. But, I'll round up because it was more good than not. Yo, whoever said don't sleep on the Turbo Stix... man, they couldn't be more right. My kid and I split an order, and it came to blows over who was going to get the last piece. In case any of the ladies are wondering - I won. We also got an order of bone-in wings with buffalo sauce. P-U. Those things were bad. They are breaded and fried, and the breading was just a sloppy droopy mess. Reminded me of what happens when you get the cheap bag of frozen wings from SchmostSchmo and cook them in the oven at too low a temperature. Not good. Not good at all. The buffalo sauce was more hot than buffalo, not my favorite either. BUT! What tipped the balance of review power in Jett's favor here was the pizza. We got the all meaty or whatever cheesy (ba-dum-tiss) name they had for the thing 'Detroit Style Deep Dish' It was excellent. Crust was puffy and flaky and delicious, and there was a generous amount of cheese and toppings. The toppings will remind you more of Little Caesars than a quality pizza joint - they're not bad. Maybe they use real good cheese or something, because the combo of the crust, cheese and crappy toppings just kinda works. It was delicious, and I would most definitely order it again. Price wasn't bad for the amount of food that we got, and our order was ready for pick up right when the dude on the phone (shoot, didn't mean to assume a gender there, silly me) said it would be. Gotta change my review since I'd initially done it. I ordered last night for my wife and I. She needs gluten free, and they'd been pushing theirs in advertising so I talked her into it. I'd always liked the Detroit style, so I was glad when Jets was touting a gluten free option for my wife who is celiac. Her pizza was the smallest thing I'd ever seen. Smaller than any Johns frozen pizza you could find at the store, and super thin too. I felt badly. It was the least exciting pizza I'd ever seen. Mine was good. But I also ordered the smallest four corner Jets offered. I live in Scottsdale, and was surprised that they couldn't deliver. But thats not my gripe. I simply couldn't fathom the pricing. It was over $45 for the smallest pizza's they offer. And then, after I've driven to pick it up (and ordered online), they've got that darned machine that STILL asks for a tip. I hate that. When I last reviewed, I really think that it seemed like a decent deal. Maybe it's just the energy around the place...it feels like its a Little Caesars or similar. I believe that my pizza was somewhere around $10 for the four slice small back then. I picked it up and I was Ok with that. I mean...you can tell that the quality isn't as good as a real scratch order pizza place like Grimaldi's, Oregano's, Lou Malnati's, Spinato's.... I could go on and on. We all know the difference. But for this fast food pizza chain to whack me for $45 for these tiny pizza's is off the charts. I would bet anyone that it costs them less than $4 to make both of these. Can't do it again... I finally got a slice for myself to try. I LOVE that they serve pizza by the slice. I got the pepperoni and it was only $3! Staff is always available and ready to help. Plenty of parking in front. There is a restroom. Its super small with like 2 or 3 small tables and chairs, plus a long bench to sit on while waiting for your food to be ready. I liked the crust. The cheese was okay--not my fav, but I'm also not a cheese person so take that with a grain of salt. Tomato sauce and pepperoni were good. We ordered boneless wings from this establishment. Once getting home we checked the box to find burn wings. We called to asked for the wings to be remade, but were promised a remake aswell as a refund. I had this for dinner last night (a large pepperoni and small cheese) and I'm still thinking about it. I didn't even get a picture before the family started devouring it, which is a rarity. And in a house where the dogs get the crust of pretty much every slice of pizza, not a single piece was thrown their way. I ordered through the app and my pizzas were ready exactly when they said they would be. The service was friendly and efficient and everyone was wearing a mask. As for the pizza, the texture was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy and the pepperoni had a nice little char to it as well. And the real star of the show is their amazing ranch dressing. If you're from the Midwest, you know your ranch and this stuff is delicious. I'm not even generally a fan of ranch with pizza but for this....yes please. I also got the brownie pizza cookie dessert which was rich and chocolatey and perfect with some vanilla ice cream. All in all, I will definitely be back and highly recommend. There are only 2 places I will go. Jet's is one of those 2 places. I won't mention the other because this is about Jet's! For starters, their pizza crusts are great. Even their thick crust is actually porous and cooked all the way through without being dried out. The sauce is just enough to blend the flavors of the toppings and the crust. It's not overpowering at all, but it definitely adds to the blend of flavors. Speaking of toppings, I have never felt like they ever cheat me on the toppings. I never have to order "extra" anything because it all just blends well as is off the standard menu.
