Full tourist trap. Only redeemable qualities are free parking in an otherwise crowded area; decent seaside view; and nice staff that was quick and nice, as we were on our way to the airport. The lines at the better spots nearby were too long. This place has lobster bisque with no lobster in it; Caesar salad with bottle dressing; and mediocre fish n chips. We started off our day with a gorgeous lunch at Jackie's Too. I love dining with an ocean view and the view did not disappoint! We ordered the calamari (17$) for an appetizer, the portion size was decent. The zesty marinara sauce was garlicky and divine. My daughter ordered the shrimp linguine (36$) and I got a tuna melt (18$). The shrimp linguine was swimming in garlic butter sauce. My tuna melt was served with amazing crunchy bread. The French fries were very crispy and good. We went here knowing that it was a tourist spot. However, I do feel that it is overpriced for what it is and that is why I am scoring it 3 stars. read more

Really enjoyed our dinner at Jackie's. Not a bad seat in the house, the view is truly unbeatable. Fried goat cheese salad $18 was delicious, homemade Dijon dressing, pickled onions, dried cranberry and walnuts. Got the seafood Alfredo, $46 but seafood portions were generous. When in Maine, treat yourself to a drink and lobster roll at Jackie's Too. I intentionally used the word treat because that is truly what the experience here feels like. My martini was shaken and poured into the cocktail glass that was taken straight from the freezer. Normally, I am not a fan of the small manzanilla olives in my drink but these were surprisingly flavorful and salty. I will say, the tiny toothpick left a little to be desired. This was my favorite lobster roll in Ogunquit because it was packed with so much meat that it was overflowing. Service and demeanor at this restaurant were horrible! We are two wheelchair users and they clearly did not want to deal with us. We asked for a table with a view but they offered us a table out of the way with no view. We inquired about waiting for a table with a view and the host was visibly frustrated. He talked to someone at the bar, presumably a manager, who said "just tell them that's the only table we have for them and that's it". Needless to say it didn't take long for us to get out the door. I can't comment on food, but I have a strong suspicion that we dodged a bullet! read more

We went there for lunch after a walk down Marginal Way and visits to local shops. From the moment we sat down, our server greeted us and was amazing the whole time. She's always smiling warmly and friendly with us and the kids. We ordered lobster rolls and a cheeseburger. We also jad the lobster bisque and clam chowder. Everything was delicious! The lobster rolls were meaty. They were generous with the claws. Overall a great experience and will definitely go back. read more

Went to Jackie's this evening. It was my third or fourth visit their first in quite a few years. This place has definitely gone down downhill. I will say the clam chowder was very, very good. The shrimp scampi, which two of us got had absolutely no taste to it at all. Although it looked to have tons of garlic and seasonings in it, but I've never had anything so bland in my life. It left a terrible aftertaste too. This was a waitresses suggestion for something that was excellent on the menu so that made it even more disappointing wishing we had went with our first choice. I will say the drink, which was their rum punch. It was their specialty was pretty good and we all know the views are amazing, but that's just not enough to keep us going back. read more

Asked if the lobster contained tail meat ( nothing worse than restaurants using the prepackaged bagged claws for the lobster salad) The waiter said "no tail, all claws, that's all you're going to find anywhere " Really? In Maine???? Settled on the backed scallops with no breadcrumbs. Dish was good, fresh, but plain, scallops and butter, that's it, no seasoning whatsoever. The other three in the party ordered fish and chips. They said it was good. Four soft drinks bill was almost $140.00 before tip. Service was good. The location and view are amazing. Lobster roll was average. Mussels were very good until I bit down on a STAPLE. Yes. A staple. Thankfully I didn't cut my mouth or swallow it. We politely pointed it out to our server (who was obviously embarrassed). The result? They comped the mussels. That's it. Manager didn't come over to apologize. Full meal wasn't comped. I understand mistakes happen, but there are ways to make them right. It's basic customer service. There are other options in the area that have great staple-free food. read more

The view was pretty, everything went downhill quickly our waiter brought the wrong beverage, and instead of correcting it simply, the incredibly rude head server/manager came over and said the drink had already been made. Beautiful views of the water paired with delicious seafood, winner, winner seafood dinner! Service was top notch! Bryce was sweet and attentive. We had the lobster roll, fish and chips and new England clam chowder. The portion sizes were huge and everything was moist and delicious A definite must stop if you're trekking through Marginal way or Perkins cove. Arrived yesterday at 2:00 pm for a much anticipated birthday dinner. We were a party of 7, including my 95 year old mother. Food was good. We got calamari's and Brussels for an appetizer. Calamari was all O's, only 2 squiggles. Brussels were not cleaned properly, the bottoms were not cut off. Lobster roll, but came with a lame side of ruffles potato chips. Cheeseburger was not good. Stale roll, overcooked, and just not worth ordering. The fries that came with it were really good though. Lobster mac and cheese was more like lobster and pasta with a cheese flavoured broth. Very watery. Our server was very pleasant. One of the other waitresses however- she was nasty. She actually walked away from a large table of women and mumbled fuck off about them. It was so uncomfortable. My daughters were shocked too! Our view was beautiful. Stopped in to Jackie's Too last Saturday and it was a warm and cozy treat! The host was very friendly and cheerful as he led us to a table in a room with floor to ceiling windows on three sides overlooking the dramatic late-winter Atlantic Ocean. Our server was great, too! My husband enjoyed a lobster roll, and I give a big shout out to Jackie's Too for the vegetarian grilled eggplant sandwich! It was served on grilled sourdough bread with roasted red pepper, fresh tomato, spinach, a perfectly thin layer of cheese, and a satisfying herb remoulade. Perfect comfort food for a blustery day. If we can get in the door in the summertime, we will be back before the weather turns cold again! read more

VERY slow service, despite plenty of open tables and staff. chowder was not good, as it had too much filler/starch in it. when that was pointed out, waitstaff only comped one chowder,saying more than half the other had been consumed, it had not. back in the area and chose to go elsewher. maybe things will improve next year? read more

This place was recommended by our boat driver as having excellent food and great views! Well, he was spot on as this place turned out to be amazing. Great service, food, drinks, and atmosphere with ocean view. We started our evening with adult beverages-- OGT Pain Killers and the Cove Margarita. Drinks were strong and plentiful. Next, we ordered the Jumbo Shrimp cocktail (highly recommend if you are a shrimpy) and calamari, both of which were excellent. Entries were two Maine Lobsters, Lobster roll, and Haddock Raul which was a pan seared haddock topped with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. As you can see from the pictures the portions were sizeable; no one left the table hungry! This is an awesome place to share a meal with family and friends. Jackie's doesn't have a very good rating, overall, but our experience, on a recent to trip to Ogunquit, was different. It was actually quite good. My friend had a cheeseburger and I had the fish and chips. A simple lunch, but good, and the fries were worth the trip alone! I don't generally care about fries, but these were unusual: thin slices of potato with skins left on. When fried, they puffed out like potato chips. Jackie's has a great location right on the water at Perkins Cove, and we were able to enjoy the view. Our wait person was very nice, just the right amount of attention. read more

This place was so average but the way they carry themselves and prices you would think that it's a five star establishment. I recently visited the restaurant with my wife and daughter who is 6 years old. We finished and sat on the near by benches to watch the sun go town, no more then 10 minutes after we paid out check, my daughter needed the restroom, mind you we paid 150$+ just 10 minutes prior, the gentleman working the kiosk was so rude when we tried to use the restroom, he wouldn't allow us to use bathroom because we were not customers. I was so flabbergasted by his rude tone and unwillingness to let a child use the facilities. He could not of been more an a**hole. I wish nothing but the worst for that man. Needless to say i will never go back to this spot just because of that man. read more

Three and a half stars for the food but worth the visit because of the peace and quiet looking out on the cove! Nice to be able to sit down with this view compared to the rest of the busy walk up and take out places in Perkins Cove! Also right next to the parking lot which was $9 for 3 hours compared to all the other flat rate $20-25 parking lots! The lobster grilled cheese ($16.95 with a $3 up charge for fries instead of potato chips) was delicious but by no means piled high or loaded - at least a quarter to half an inch of empty bread around the whole sandwich (see photo). The twin lobster tails ($29.99) were slightly over cooked but sweet and delicious! The fried Brussel Sprouts were hugely flavorful but a little too greasy! View is amazing, but after eating here for 7 years, we won't be back. Last year it seemed to go downhill a bit. We had a larger group so we were out back and ceiling fans weren't working last year. This year we returned on a very hot night and fans had not been fixed! Besides the lack of air flow, the service was horrible - took a very long time to get food that was only OK. We ended up getting our own silverware from another table and we all had seafood and needed tartar sauce which took 10min to arrive. We would have gotten that ourselves too if we could. View is beautiful but we won't drop $300 to have mediocre food and poor service. If they don't care enough to fix the ceiling fans in a place without AC, I question what other things are things are overlooked? read more
