This tech hurriedly completed the task without regard for my underlying nail bed. Her lack of care caused me to tense for which she repeatedly said relax. This occurred so often she became annoyed speaking to her coworker in a language I wouldn't understand, yet I could see the coworker glance over at my hand. I walked away with pinkish tender nails. I was a Nab customer for over a year and I was very satisfied with their nail technician work. However, the administration there wishes a better customer service. I scheduled appointment for pedi+no chip removal and Mani+no chip and once I come in I notify right away that I will be doing regular polish manicure and they said "OK". Once my pedicure was finished and I was transferred to start my manicure, a technician said that, "Due to their policy I cannot change my mind and if I scheduled Mani with no chip they need to charge me as for no chip even though I will do a regular polish." I did not wanted to create a conflict situation and agreed because I had a flight that day and I needed to have that work done, otherwise I would never agreed to their "policy" . For understanding my Mani would cost me $35 but they charged me $75 as for no chip! After everything was completed, I tried to fix a situation and ask a manager if I can use that difference $40!!!! as a tip for a girls and again she refused to do that. Unacceptable manager service! There were times when I waited for a manicure for more than 30 minutes and no one ever offered me a discount. Does that mean your time is more valuable than your client's? read more

This place definitely was all hype.The shaping was all uneven and nail application was very sloppy. My tech was rushing the whole time also asked me to come early to my appt 6:45pm vs 7pm. The receptionist gave me 30% off so $30 vs $45and offered to another service for free. I declined and just wanted to get out of there. Maybe other techs are better but I wouldn't risk it. It's a small, clean space inside a Salon Loft suite and functions perfectly for a good small business. The have a great selection in colors, pay attention to good cuticle maintenance and specialize in Russian style manicures. I really like their e-file method and my nails look fantastic! I wanted to reschedule my appointment with a specific person who wasn't available. I was told that since I didn't request this technician at the time of the in person booking I would be charged in full if they didn't find someone else to fill the spot. I asked him if he could wave this fee the first time since I'm only rescheduling and not canceling it completely. He said he was willing to lose a long future consumer vs assisting me. A friend told me about this nail spot and I wasn't let down. The overlay/Russian manicure lasted me a little over 3 weeks. I'm a nurse and I frequently wash my hands and use harsh cleaning agents. Even when I stubbed my thumb on a door, the nail remained intact. It will cost you more than your average no-chip manicure, but the length of time that it lasts make it worth it. I've been here twice. The first time my manicure lasted 3.5 weeks with zero chips and I washed a ton of dishes by hand. The second time, my manicure lasted less than a week with chips on every nail. I think it truly depends on who you get your manicure done with but to spend $90 for it to last less than a week is pretty criminal. Also my nail tech the second time kept checking her phone and made me feel really uncomfortable? There are so many tiny bubbles on my nails, which is usually a result of rushing the process. They don't have pedicure chairs here as they use the Russian E-File dry process. read more

I visited this salon for the first time, obviously I communicated in English because I didn't know all the employees we're Russians and didn't speak English very well except the receptionist. When I was waiting behind the table employee Yulia came in and didn't said anything for a good 4-5 minutes so I greeted her, she didn't said anything so I thought maybe she didn't heard me. Then she asked me if I wanted nail extensions or just no chip in manicure I responded, "earlier when I called for openings on the phone, I was told that only simple gel manicure would be done, but if she have a time for extensions that would be great" but she didn't said anything again then she said " - " to another Russian employee who was working next to her which translates to "She is mumbling something" in a very rude way in Russian. As a native Russian speaker she didn't know I spoke Russian. I understand that person can have a language barrier but for this case the language barrier was not the problem but her attitude and ethic towards her work was. She was very unprofessional and looked like she didn't wanted to be there. When I showed which design I wanted from their Instagram account she didn't said anything again and made really angry face while rolling her eyes. After getting the manicure I wanted same design on my toes too but she made her angry face again and stopped moving and so I asked "Is it too hard for you?" she was not responding agaiiin so I just asked to do regular french tips. I've been getting Russian manicures for five years now, and other people who gets Russian manicures know that Russian manicures are distinguished from other ordinary manicures by their neatness, cleanliness and edgeless look. The manicure was okay but the pedicure was bad after getting home I cleaned everything again. Russian manicure at the salon was not bad, but it might not be the best I ever had.
