We were quite lucky with timing and were able to get 4 pedicures immediately. There were only two ladies working and one was Lisa. Both were very quick and did a fantastic job. I appreciated that our feet were covered with plastic bag with oil inside to prevent smudging. Lisa was very friendly and helpful with my mom's polish color choice. Rather than filing them as had been done by previous nail artists they were cut down. And they were not even. Noticeably so. There was no checking of the length. But I gave it two more tries. Lisa is AMAZING! My friend and I were visiting the city and were in desperate need of some nail TLC. We called the nail salon in the evening and they told us to come in right away. Worked out great because of the proximity to our hotel. We walked in and were immediately greeted by Lisa. Debating on what I wanted, she helped me navigate the sea of options. Ended up choosing her no chip gel in a light pink. She took the lead and mixed two nail polishes to get the exact color I wanted. After our nails were done, she let my friend and I use the massage chairs for a bit since they were not in use and we chatted until it was time to claoe. Went in for my first pedicure since Covid. Needless to say my feet were a mess. I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment, but they had an opening so I was able to go right in. I was warmly welcomed by Lisa, and had a temperature check, and washed my hands right off the bat. There was also a plexiglass partition between me and the wonder lady that worked on my feet. Went here recently when I had a spa day with the girls last week. The owner from The Spa on Oak (downstairs) arranged for us to receive complimentary manicures--we just had to pay gratuity. Lisa was there that day and she was very nice. Her staff were all very efficient and friendly. They were able to fit us in for pedicures as well. I'm happy to say over a week later and my french manicure still looks fab. Her and her staff were very thorough and I thought the pricing was very comparable to the pricing of other shops near home in the burbs---I thought they would be a little more expensive--seeing that they are on oak street but not so much. One additional detail that I do like is that they have a huge industrial air purifier so you don't get so lightheaded from the usual smells of nail polish and remover. I was very pleased with my services, the selection of ail colors available, and would recommend the shop to others in the area. They do have special pricing for mani/pedi on Monday and Tuesday for $45 currently. Again price isn't too bad--I don't mind paying a little more if I know the mani will last more than 3 days. read more
