This was my go to spot until I had a horrible experience. I didn't notice them clean or sanitize their tools, and the technician's work space was filthy and covered in nail debris from a previous client. 4 hours later and ive got an red, inflamed nail edge. I also made an appointment and had to wait so long that ultimately my gel mani/regular pedi took almost 3 hours. Go somewhere else for peace of mind and lower chance for any kind of infection. Update - ended up having to go to urgent care the next morning for antibiotics (right before vacation) as I woke up and the whole fingertip was very very painful and inflamed. I called to ask for a refund and she refused to take accountability and said that since the infection showed up after the service it wasn't related. Then she hung up on me. I've worked in the medical field for 15 years. It's concerning that a licensed nail tech doesn't see the correlation between a nail service and a budding fingernail infection within 4 hours of said service. Seems like they are pros at denying. So now I'm out 80 bucks and an urgent care bill and have to be on antibiotics while on vacation. I should have walked out! Please don't spend your money here! read more

I went inside and requested to use their restroom to change my insulin pump. Other stores on the street had no public restrooms signs which I respected. Their shop did not, so I made my request. After being asked if I was going to buy anything and if I was going to get high, to which I responded no to both I was told to go ahead. As I was finishing changing my pump and feeding insulin through the line, an employee there banged on the door and yelled that I shouldn't be taking that long. as I left they wouldn't even look at me unless they were throwing me hateful looks. They could've just said no when I asked about the bathroom. They didn't have to be rude. Their ignorance is offensive. would NOT recommend. read more

I had planned to just get a gel removal but after seeing Annie's work I decided to let her work her magic on me! I'm glad I did as it was a pleasure speaking time with her. Annie does impeccable work and was able to do exactly what I wanted (despite the fact I had nothing in mind walking in as I only planning on a removal). We randomly found Nail Perfection on the map because we wanted somewhere close by the apartment. I called and made a 3:30pm appointment for two people and we walked in a little after 3:40pm. They only had one customer and two ladies working in the salon so they were able to take us as soon as we got in. I only got a regular manicure ($25) and he got a manicure & pedicure ($65). The ladies were great, salon was moderately clean and they had an assortment of nail polish colors. However, I did think the price was a bit steep. $65 for a regular mani & pedi is interesting to say the least, but with inflation, everything is expensive. read more

This might have been the worst nail salon experience of my life. First, I arrived and asked for a black chrome gel polish manicure which they said they can do for me. I should have known something was wrong when the nail tech had to ask his colleagues multiple times what and how to apply chrome. He then proceeded to stain my cuticles and all the skin around my nails. Then he and another one of his colleagues noticed that the polish was "rippling" on the surface of nail and did not have a smooth finish so they offered to "redo" 5 nails. When that wasnt working and the chrome looked terrible and I had been there an hour already, they said we should just start all over again and just do black polish without chrome. All while this was happening, another one of their colleagues was screaming on the phone trying to make payments over the phone, making the rest if the salin very uncomfortable. The "rippling" on my nails persisted and I was told that "that is just the shape of my nails". When I finally ran out of time, the lady colleague charged me $45 and said "don't worry, we wont charge you for the chrome". I had a holiday party last night and all of my black nail polish started to slough off mid party. Now, I have to go pay for removal of this polish by a more competent nail salon within less than 24hrs of my "manicure". Very upset and complete waste of my money. read more

I had my nails done here and I was told to get some special type of nail process instead of the acrylic nails I requested. I had to return THREE times because my nails kept a braking. The third time I came back i was old that it was MY fault and that I purposefully broke my nail. It took me taking time off my schedule to come back and have the bad job that they did repaired. I was denied a refund or fixing my nail. I'll NEVER come back to this place that by the way charges 30% more than other places. read more

I called for a last minute appointment on a Saturday night and the lady on the phone was super helpful and accommodating as they agreed to let me in for a quick manicure on a packed day. The place itself is small but cozy. They have a wide range of colors to choose from and they also offer your typical nail salon services at a great price for a neighborhood like Streeterville. The equipment was clean and the salon itself was clean. I also appreciate a business that's COVID cautious, so thank you for keeping everyone safe. My manicure turned out beautiful.
