Our 2nd time to Four Seasons in 2026 as we visit Chicago to see our son. This time we made a Saturday appointment in advance to ensure a spot. Since we have some downtime and are staying in the city, we come to get our nails done and freshen up. It's central to many of the hotels in the North Loop. I get the deluxe spa pedicure which is great. Afterward, my feet are free of dead skin and relaxed and the skin is soft after 45 min in the chair. Lotion and massage are part of this package. And it stays this way for 1 month! My wife gets the gel (no powder) and selects from the available colors. The results are the same ... great looking bald and they last weeks. Four Seasons is on 16 West Ohio St., 2 blocks south of Michigan Ave, close to all the North Loop hotels and shopping. I was walking around the River North area looking for a no chip manicure and found this lovely place. I walked in at 6pm on a Tuesday night was they said they could take me now. My manicurist was from Russia and had someone sit with her who translated. But this lady was excellent. I love my no chip manicure and I think I have found my new place. I knew I wanted white for my toes and picked out a color and let Scott my technician pick out the no chip color and his pick "Funny Bunny" couldn't have been more perfect. He did a fantastic job! Nicole is the owner of the salon, I have known Nicole since before she owned this salon and was working in another salon. I followed her here when she opened because I loved her technique and services. Loyal to her for years. As Nicole grew there were a few times I had an appointment and Nicole has left me soaking in a foot bath over an hour and serviced walk-ins the second or third time it happened I discontinued and found another nail tech. From time to time I would pop in just to get a pedicure or something, usually Nicole would be busy, so someone else would service me. Today I came in Nicole greeted me as an old friend we were delighted to see one another because we had not seen one another for some time and a male began my service, he was great accept I didn't like my big toes they are large. I think he became a little frustrated for complaining so he left me in the seat and left my toes without oil or anything, and began servicing another client. Nicole usually does everything perfect and not to compare but the response to my complaint was not good. I had to get up and request for Nicole to fix my nail. She never did he eventually left the other client and came in an attempt to fix the ugly nail, never received cuticle oil so i did that myself. Was kind of disrespectful. He did eventually apologize which was kind of him to do. I would drop in again the nail looked better and I left on a brighter note. My friend and I swung by four seasons to get our eyebrows waxed. We didn't have a prior appointment. We had to wait for about 15 mins before they could squeeze us in. The brow waxing lady was amazing. Our eyebrows turned out to clean and sharp after waxing. She also listened to my feedback on keeping by eyebrows thick and maintaining the same shape I had prior. I hardly felt any pain during the waxing process. The place is not the most hygienic but it's a good bang for your buck with just $15 for an eyebrow wax. I will definitely be back. read more

I booked an appointment due to the location being near an event I was attending and relied on what I perceived to be good reviews. Not only was the facility run down and dirty, the nail tech who worked on me was a complete amateur. She scrubbed my feet so hard that she broke skin. That wasn't the end of the world. The worst part was the removal of my no chip. After my pedicure was complete, she seemed perplexed that I was having a no chip. She wrapped my fingers in foil and wasted no time unwrapping them. Meaning they had no time to "soak". Due to this, the paint removal was difficult and extremely uncomfortable. She Scraped my nails in all directions -- forward, backwards, sideways. My nails ripped! She literally started at the top of my nail and tried scraping backwards towards my cuticles. This was not cuticle removal, it was her trying to scrape paint in the wrong direction. My nails were just shredded and I voiced concerned. The other techs looked over at us but made no attempt to help her understand. She tried assuring me not to worry. I get that enough paint on top of it will cover up the damage. But my concern is the damage and how unnecessary it was to remove my previous no chip in that way. The nail dryers were awkward, your feet dried under a fan sideways and they positioned you to twist your body towards the manicure station. It was extremely uncomfortable to sit this way for long periods. As I looked around I realized how dingy and dirty it really was and was pissed that I allowed myself to undergo service here. It's not just dirty, they have nail techs that don't know what they are doing and are unsupervised. Don't waste your time and risk damage to your nails. read more

I went to get an acrylic set filled. The girl that was doing my nails didn't know that you had to redo the nail with more powder so she started drilling onto the old nail and my real nail. This took about an hour and then someone had to come up and tell her that I was wearing acrylic so she needed to do the nail over. Fills typically take an hour and I was there for two hours because she had to then restart the whole process. I'm understanding and don't like to complain as I realize she was probably new, but it was just a really bad experience. I have had many great services here. Nicole is awesome and every other nail tech is great except the older lady I had the two last times. 1st time I asked for a full set with a French manicure. I was there for 2 hours!!!! She kept having to redo the white tip which was hand painted. Finally I left and they didn't look amazing but they were fine. (Which really is disappointing for the $60 I dropped on them) then after a week they popped right off like I had press on nails on. I was so upset! But I didn't complain , I didn't write a review... This time I was just getting a no chip manicure so I figured let me just give her another shot. She started cutting away at my cuticles so much that we made several nails bleed! I was walk in for a no chip manicure & although they all had a client the wait time was probably around 10-15 minutes which wasn't too bad for a Friday morning. However, I feel like they cut & pushed my cuticles too much to the point where it really hurt. My index finger kept bleeding and they didn't apologize or anything, I had some cuts on my right hand too but they healed for the most part. The one on my left still stings a bit though. They were able to get me started immediately and I did a basic gel pedicure and gel full set. Sometimes when you get a basic pedi it's very mediocre but the one here is really good. I hate sitting down for too long so I was going to finish my nails in the morning. I told the lady who was about to start on my manicure this & she started doing it at the same time as I was getting my pedicure. She did a fast job and the massage chairs here are very relaxing. Ummmm - why is this place open? I'm visiting for work for two weeks and wanted a pedicure and foot massage...cause ya know- that's what pedicures are. Well not here. Walked-in, chose my color (smallest polish selection I've ever seen). The woman who did my pedicure didn't communicate things to me well. She was hurting me when doing cuticle removal i was scared I would bleed. There was only 1 other person being serviced (now I know why). She was scrubbing my feet so hard the pomace stone broke. Then she begins to polish- NO foot massage very strange. She would polish sloppy and use a hard wooden stick to scrape the polish off my skin. Once she realized she didn't put lotion or a massage once she was done painting my toes she rubs lotion on my legs... that's it. Then points for me to go sit in a chair. (I'm confused) and she plugged in a foot dryer (I've never seen anything like this before). It was all just so ghetto. The vibe was weird and the space wasn't clean or tidy. I know everyone has to start somewhere and grow their skin, but that should be noted for guest to decide on skill level. To top it off- when it was time to check out I asked if there was a line to add gratuity and the girl confusingly said "Zelle or Venmo". Like huhhhhhhhh? Idk, this place should be call No Seasons. We were only in town for a few days. We walked by Four Seasons and were able to get scheduled for 3 mani pedis together the next morning. Our nails look great and we spent less than we would spend back home. ($40 +tip for standard mani pedi) We are happy! I had Ruby. Open on the 4th of July, for starters. I walked in for a pedicure and didn't have to wait; John, the manager took care of me. Great, attentive, professional and friendly service. When it came time for the foot care portion of the pedi, he did a great job of getting rid of that nasty, dry skin; so often lately I find places do a rather perfunctory job with the foot scrub, but not here. I chose my nail color then later changed my mind, and he was helpful with that, too, putting a little of each color on so I could make up my mind. Basic Mani + Pedi on their attached menu is $40, or $37 if paying cash. When I went to pay, I showed I was paying cash, and was told it would be $55, which is what the two services would add up to separately, with no discount for cash. She left the front desk with my cash, went into a back room, and came back with crumpled bills that seemed to have come from a pocket or bag rather than a cash register. HERE IS your warning - Dont do it !! Got off a flight and headed downtown for a mani and pedi. I came in at 10- and left at1pm. I was only in town for sunday and monday for july 4th. People came in and left before me. I was the first to walk through the door. They had a 30 minute head start. They let a girl do my nails who was in training only to have someone do it over. My wife and I were fortunate enough to get walk-in appointments at Four Seasons for much-needed pedicures after a long day of walking around the city. We had different women provide the pedicures, and while my wife claimed that hers was one of the best she's had, mine left a bit to be desired (and yes, I'm a guy who gets pedicures with decent regularity. We paid for the "best" pedicure on the menu, but my lady was preoccupied with the clock, and what I presume was another client in the other half of the spa, and it really affected the service. Thankfully, the massage chairs are amazing at Four Seasons, so that helped. The space is very clean and the staff is nice, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return next time we're in town. Perhaps we'll make appointments next time in hopes of getting a more focused experience. read more
