I visited the salon on May 13th for the first and last time. Upon entering I was asked for my phone number. I declined providing because I am in town for a workshop. I asked the lady how much for a pedicure with gel polish. She said $62. I didn't know to offer any other information. After my service she said it was $8 more for removal of my previous polish. She said it's Chicago. Things are higher here. Then, she asked me if I want a receipt, I said yes. The receipt said soak off $8. However, the young man that did my feet used the electric drill. I stopped at the door and really wanted to say something but I didn't. I didn't want to cause a scene. I decided to leave a review instead. I will never go back. I advise others to not go either unless their business practices change. That was a lack of integrit and manipulative. I really loved going to this place when they been in Huron. I have sent so many friends and family there. Recently i have made an appointment for my son for mani/pedi, that was my appreciation gift to him. I asked to book him with specific technician, and specified he will be having combo. When he came, the appointment was not there, neither on his name, nor on mine. The technician i booked was unavailable, the services i booked him for was incomplete, since it was not in the registration and when i called lady just responded that she did not make reservation and it is someone else mistake. I got a no chip pedi here tonight and the girl who did it really seemed like she didn't want to servers me... the entire time she rushed massaged me for maybe 30 second.. then after she scrubbed my feet I asked her if she could do it more on the bottom of my feet because they felt rough still. in a rude tone she said "I did so you want to PAY EXTRA for callus remover" I said no I just want you to rub them with the scrubber a little more to smooth my feet out on the bottom. and she said "I ALREADY DID" this girl is going to make this place go out of business and I truly feel bad for the owner. who speaks to someone like that when they are performing a service and getting paid to do. if she doesn't want to do pedicures then she shouldn't.. read more

Literally acted like she was doing me a favor the whole time. Her and the lady with the pink hair kept talking about me in a different language. So so rude. Just because you're speaking jn a different language doesn't mean people can't tell you're talking shit about them. It's rude. And if you didn't want to do the work, you can just say not today. I've been here ~4 times and usually the services are good. However my most recent experience was pretty bad (regular mani/pedi). The technician was rough with scrubbing my feet, cutting my cuticles and cutting my nails. I told her I wanted a pale pink color and she recommended a super sheer color for my nails. When I saw it on my fingers, I asked for a different color and she found a color that was more opaque (she upsold me on their "Dazzle manicure" that's supposed to last 2 weeks). She seemed really rushed throughout the session and overall wasn't attentive to details (uneven nails, unpainted strips on the side). As soon as my nails were dry, which she checked by smudging my nails with her finger, she left the salon because I'm guessing her shift was over. I went home and had to clip 3 toenails bc they were totally crooked. And the "Dazzle manicure" lasted 3 days before chipping and rubbing off. Overall would recommend the spa, but you may end up with a subpar job based on the technician. read more

Everyone was nice & the facility is clean. No fumes smell as well which is a huge plus. Great location. That said the quality was.. eh. I haven't tried the powder so I can only speak on the regular polish but it ended up looking just as bad as when I do it. I've had it done professionally before and was surprised at how good regular polish can look. Here though, I was underwhelmed. And altogether with the pedicure and moisturizing treatments it was quite expensive (I spent roughly $150.) I wouldn't do it again. read more

OMG! The absolute worst of the worst! I paid top dollar for a full set of gel nails and Kasey started off strong and finished weak! I don't know where to begin. After returning home from the salon and ten days later my nail came off. She repaired it. Two days after it came off again and the polish was wearing off! The left ring finger nail came off as well. I phoned the salon and Kasey answered the phone stating that it had been two weeks. I was in total shock and disbelief that I was being told that my nails were just done. Incredible! After tipping this sarcastic girl $50!!!! Unreal! The shoddy work they do is quite sad for what they're charging customers. Needless to say I will not return. If you seek a professional manicure then you should run like your the last two monkeys boarding Noah's Ark and it's starting to rain! No no and no!! That's a hard no from me! If I could give negative stars, I would. This has been the absolute worst pedicure I have ever had in my entire life. Firstly, my nail technician paid absolutely no attention to me, was on the phone for most of the time, got up and left anytime anyone walked in to the salon, and then proceeded to have conversations with her coworkers in their native language. I asked in the beginning for her to cut my nails short, which she did not do. So I asked her again to cut them shorter, which she did not do. The experience was so terrible that I didn't even get polished so that I could leave faster. When I got home, I noticed I had a giant hangnail, and I had to redo my entire pedicure myself. Additionally, the atmosphere was terrible. There was no music, no TVs, and the lights were way too bright to relax. If you want to be disappointed, by all means, come get a pedicure here. But if you value your time, money, and quality service, go somewhere else! read more

I work right across the plaza in the NBC tower, been to this place maybe 10 times since December... this will be my last. My toes look better than they did walking in but the service is atrocious. Start to finish, and I mean finish was when she applied the top coat - 15 mins. My feet were in the water for maybe 90 seconds. As soon as she was done, I didn't see her again. When I paid, I was putting my change in my wallet and the girl says "you aren't tipping!" I wasn't planning to leave without tipping, but she said it loud enough for the other customers to hear. I came to this establishment on 5/18/23 and spent $160 PLUS A tip for a full set and a pedicure ... by 5/21 this is how my hands looked. Not only did they improperly apply the Gel X nail to my natural nail, causing my natural nail to be RIPPED out at the very bed (confirmed by Northwestern medical team to be improper application), but 5 other nails-my whole left hand- came off within 2/3 days as well. When I called to discuss a refund, I was told I had to come in (again, because I had already returned when the injury initially occurred). No problem. They then refused to give me a full refund for the nail service, and began lying/bullshitting. They stated I should've brought the nails that came off in so they could investigate how it happened (insinuating that I'm lying. Like I would seriously spend my time and money getting the nails just to purposefully damage my nails and rip them off myself to get my money back). They said the service was still performed... how well if my nails are popping off and cause me a trip to the ER? They then tried to say they spent time on it... AND I SPENT 5 HOURS AND $100+ IN MEDICAL CARE!!! They said the price of the pedicure was $80 when on the website and handout they have in store it is listed as 75. They tried to say "oh maybe it's just not updated". Like no- that is false advertising. I was not rude, mean, over-demanding.... I just wanted the principle of the situation to be honored and instead they literally tried to gaslight and insult me and in the end, tossed the money at me as a "here take this and get out" and it wasn't even the full $85 back. 0/10 do not recommend.
